**Sodexo** is seeking a **Panera Bread Manager** at **Beth Isreal Newark Hospital** in **Newark** **, NJ** . The retail store manager will direct all operations for the Panera Bread location in the medical center. This strategic leader will be a dynamic team player with a strong background in managing teams and providing an exceptional customer experience.
**What You'll Do**
+ manage all retail operations for the Panera Bread location
+ motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline staff and supervisors
+ provide high-level service to customers
+ oversee cash handing processes and POS programming and maintenance
+ manage vendor relationships and compliance
+ maintain all product merchandising, marketing and ordering standards are in place
+ coordinate department safety and sanitation

**What You Bring**
+ management experience in the food service industry (restaurants, catering, hospitality, hotels, etc.)
+ previous experience working in a high volume facility
+ understanding of food safety and sanitation and experience enforcing

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food/meal preparation; maintain cash receipts and meal records. Assist manager in completing daily reports. Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu
+ Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions
+ Understand what is inclusive of a meal
+ Ensure storage of food in an accurate and sanitary manner
+ Serve food according to meal schedules, department policies and procedures
+ Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives
+ Timely preparation of a variety of food items, beverages, and
+ Add garnishments to ensure customer happiness and eye appeal
+ Coordinate and assist in major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and cooking and serving equipment
