WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Performance Optimization Analyst supports facilitation of operational changes and process improvement initiatives designed to achieve significant results in the key areas of quality, cost effectiveness, and service delivery, process redesign and outcomes measurement.Works on problems diverse in scope where analysis of situations or data is required. Solves complex problems, takes new perspectives on using existing solutions.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
* Lead efforts to identify process improvements, working collaboratively across multiple departments to identify impacted parties, business partners, and resources required
* Develop and design processes that support business needs
* Perform gap analysis between present conditions and future operations needs and identify solutions
* Provides direction and oversight to project teams to design and implement solutions that meet applicable business requirements
* Measure process improvement benefits after changes are implemented
* Partner with process owners to identify and leverage best practices to achieve maximum results to eliminate waste/ cost of poor performance and deliver sustainable and repeatable change
* Design, drive and perform operational analysis of processes
* Assist other functions in identifying and implementing opportunities to improve program and process effectiveness
* Plan, develop and coordinate training in process improvement changes
* Identify and facilitate process improvement projects, training/ workshops to drive cultural change
* Support other departments as needed and perform other duties as required by management
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
*Required Qualifications**
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
* Minimum 5 years of quality/process improvement work experience
* Minimum 5 years of Financial Services work experience
* Minimum 3 years of experience in project management
*Additional Qualifications*
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or Computer Science highly preferred
* Work together professionally in a team environment with coworkers and other department personnel
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Adaptable and flexible to changing needs of the division

Job Summary:
- This role is a member of the Performance Optimization Team for Consumer Energy. This team is responsible for analyzing detailed KPIs related to the business performance of the Consumer Energy business - particularly focused on retention, bad debt, revenue optimization, and margin. This team is also responsible for working with business owners to identify, implement, and measure improvements to these KPIs.
- This role will address KPIs across the Consumer Energy business, with initial focus on Texas Bad Debt & revenue optimization.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Data analysis of business KPIs. Will include analysis of underlying transactional records in SQL and other tools to identify underlying drivers of business performance.
- Analysis using statistical and other techniques to identify improvement opportunities.
- Definition and implementation of change programs (i.e. business practices, process changes) to improve business performance.
- A combination of data analytics skills and business acumen will be required to succeed.
- Also responsible for collaborating with business process owners to design and implement change programs.
Working Conditions:
- Open office environment.
- Some overtime required as special projects arise.
- Minimal Travel based on business need.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience (15+years)

The VP, Maritime Performance Optimization, supporting Princess Cruise Line, Holland America Line, and Seabourn purpose is to oversee all Port Cost Accounting functions for PCL, HAL, & SBN, ensuring accurate financial reporting and timely payments. **Responsibilities**
+ Oversees all Port Cost Accounting functions for PCL/HAL & SBN, ensuring proper accounting of tariffs, port charges, service provider costs, and timely and accurate payments and collections.
+ Responsible for timely and accurate financial reporting of port costs to the Maritime and Finance Teams
+ Provides regular and ad-hoc analytics to maritime and port operations teams and collaborates on port cost initiatives and billing.
+ Manages a team of three direct reports: Director Maritime Affairs, Director Business Port Admin, and Manager Waste Optimization.
+ Tasked with creating an effective PMO organization within the Maritime Teams, focusing on shared service initiatives like cabin assignments and optimization of shipboard processes
+ Oversees waste optimization initiatives within the Maritime teams and collaborates with other departments such as F&B and Hotel Operations.
+ Develops and executes a waste optimization program to provide updated, accurate information for the fleets and recommendations for better waste handling
+ Demonstrated success in leading a team with strong organizational and leadership skills.
+ Experience working across cultures and geographies, recognizing inclusive viewpoints.
+ Collaborative and trustworthy, with strong interpersonal skills
+ Ability to project manage and provide executive support for multiple cruise line operations in ports worldwide
+ Effectively prioritizes tasks to support daily regional responsibilities while providing additional assistance to third-party vendors, direct reports, and other team members.
+ Manages strategic relationships with external stakeholders and authorities such as Flag State officials, Port State Officials, Classification officials, harbor officials, major business partners, competitors, industry relations, Government agencies, and regulatory organizations.
+ Empowers the Port Operations team to identify and recommend best practices for operations to senior leadership, internal departments, and outside vendors for port and marine operations worldwide.
+ Works closely with the finance team and has a dotted line relationship with them.
+ G&A budget responsibilities for direct team of 8
+ Financial oversight of approximately $500 million annually, between PCL, HAL, & SBN
+ T&E of $1.75 million annually
+ Ensures proper development of annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and reviews performance reporting and recommended actions to be taken to reduce cost and increase revenue
**Requirements**
+ Minimum 15 years leading analytical teams and supporting senior leadership
+ 10+ years of managerial experience
+ Preferred experience with shipboard operations
+ Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Business, Marketing, or Hospitality Management), Equivalent Experience, MBA or master's degree strongly preferred
+ Strong proficiency in advanced analytics
+ Well versed in all Port Operations (departmental) systems
+ Familiarization with worldwide deployments and operations
+ Detailed working knowledge of ship and shoreside management
+ Financial background including ability to create and analyze data
+ Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-suite leaders, communicate complex financial insights, and drive consensus across business units.
+ Strong knowledge and background in all internal and external Port Operations systems and reporting tool
+ Detailed working knowledge of ship and shoreside waste management
+ Strong knowledge of security requirements at a port level worldwide
