We are seeking a skilled and certified Drone Pilot to operate and manage drone operations for various projects. As a Drone Pilot, you should have a strong understanding of drone technology, excellent piloting skills, and the ability to analyze aerial data.

Your key responsibilities will include flying drones for purposes such as surveying, mapping, inspection, and videography.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate drones for aerial photography, videography, surveying, and inspections
  • Conduct pre-flight checks and ensure drones are in optimal working condition
  • Follow all FAA regulations and safety guidelines during drone operations
  • Plan flight paths and adjust them as necessary based on environmental conditions
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret aerial data for reporting and project needs

Qualifications:

  • Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to analyze data and present findings clearly


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with specific drone models (e.g., DJI, Parrot)
  • Knowledge of photogrammetry and GIS applications

Job Description
The Synthetic Molecules Analytical Research and Development (SM ARD) organization within AbbVie provides comprehensive analytical support for projects in early stages of development. SM ARD begins supporting projects while still in discovery phase, and continues supporting the projects until they advance into late stage. SM ARD's functions entail comprehensive analytical method development, validation, and testing at all stages of the of the project; as well as thorough analytical support for resolving various project-specific challenges.
AbbVie is seeking a highly motivated individual with a proven track record of accomplishment and an interest and expertise in analytical chemistry to join the Pilot Plant Analytical Flex Team. The successful candidate will be actively involved in development and validation of analytical methods, supporting API campaigns, testing large volumes of samples, and interfacing with Pilot Plant customers. The Scientist would also serve as a mentor and supervisor to junior analysts on the team.
The Pilot Plant Flex Team is a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The team's primary focus is analytical services and support for AbbVie's pilot plants in Lake County. The team members work at both North Chicago and Abbott Park sites.
Responsibilities:
+ Overall, would serve in a hybrid role as both a lab analyst and a supervisor.
+ Plan and perform analytical tasks competently and independently within a timely fashion and generate reliable results in a consistent manner. The tasks entail both routine sample testing and method development and validation.
+ Serve as analytical expert and supervisor on the team; guide and assist junior analysts as needed, with method development, validation, troubleshooting, etc. Be effective at designing experiments for junior analysts.
+ Documentation of experimental activities and results in a GMP compliant fashion, with careful attention to details, using an electronic data acquisition and management systems, and electronic laboratory notebooks. Verification of other analysts' work.
+ Effective and timely communications on issues, problems, and solutions; both within the team and to the customers and colleagues outside the team.
+ Effective oral and written communication skills. Author and revise analytical methods, reports, and memos.
+ Effectively interface with customers and colleagues, and coordinate assignments and timely execution of tasks among multiple analysts on the team.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelors degree + at least 5-7 years of relevant job experience OR Masters degree + at least 3-5 years of relevant experience (Depending on education and work experience the position may be filled as either grade 15 or 16)
+ Must have analytical chromatographic chemistry experience
+ Experience with HPLC and GMP documentation is required.

Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a qualified Pilot in Command for a Citation XLSaircraft based in Wheeling Illinois at KPWK airport.This is a three-pilot account supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician flying part 91 and 135.

This is not a commutable position and will require residing within driving distance of PWK airport.

The Pilot in Command (PIC) holds final responsibility to ensure aircraft is operated in a safe, compliant and efficient manner. The PIC complies with all company and regulatory requirements while delivering an exceptional service experience.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Ensures the Safe Operation of Flight:

  • Ensures crewing and trip assignments are compliant with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Completes flight planning, performance and weight and balance tasks for each assignment, as required.
  • Utilizes Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead required briefings and mitigate operational risks.
  • Complies with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinates with company personnel as required. Acts as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.

Purpose of Position

Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a qualified Pilot in Command for a Citation XLSaircraft based in Wheeling Illinois at KPWK airport.This is a three-pilot account supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician flying part 91 and 135.

This is not a commutable position and will require residing within driving distance of PWK airport.

The Pilot in Command (PIC) holds final responsibility to ensure aircraft is operated in a safe, compliant and efficient manner. The PIC complies with all company and regulatory requirements while delivering an exceptional service experience.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Ensures the Safe Operation of Flight:

  • Ensures crewing and trip assignments are compliant with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Completes flight planning, performance and weight and balance tasks for each assignment, as required.
  • Utilizes Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead required briefings and mitigate operational risks.
  • Complies with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinates with company personnel as required. Acts as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
  • Completes all aircraft pre-flight tasks, including the maintenance status of the aircraft, to ensure the aircraft is mission capable. Records all aircraft discrepancies in accordance with company SOPs.
  • Ensures all aircraft ground servicing items (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) are monitored and accomplished in accordance with SOPs.
  • Completes passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulation. Delivers the highest level of customer service and meet any special needs of passengers (e.g., physically challenged).
  • Utilizes Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate with crew and support personnel clearly and in a timely manner during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.

Delivers an Exceptional Service Experience:

  • Provides quality service to owners and passengers while identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience. Regularly investigates and resolves service deviations.
  • Collaborates with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to provide consistent service experience to owners and passengers. Resolves conflict and challenges in an acceptable manner.

Maintains Proficiency and Compliance:

  • Maintains regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience.
  • Complies with company SMS program and reports safety or non-compliance concerns through the appropriate channels.
Certifications and Licenses FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) First Class Medical Certificate Years of Experience 4-6 years of experience Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)
  • Prior experience in corporate/business aviation preferred
  • FAA Type rating in applicable fleet
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position
  • Minimum Time Requirements:
    • Total flight time: 3500 hours
    • Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
    • Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
    • PIC MEL: 500 hours
    • Instrument: 300 hours
    • Jet: 500 hours

The desired candidate will work a first shift schedule, Monday through Friday, typically starting between 6am-7am, and will observe the established company holiday schedule.
Provide pilot plant support for R&D customers, Manufacturing, and Sales Support. Your work will primarily support pilot plant operations including loading research scale reactors to custom criteria, conducting feedstock blending and dispensing activities for all Des Plaines pilot plants, maintain the feedstock database, and performing small equipment repair and feed vessel maintenance. Work independently and in group settings to collect, organize, and interpret support requests and perform them with a high degree of accuracy.
Become proficient in applying the Honeywell Accelerator principles and Process Safety Fundamentals to area work processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts on area work processes to improve the group's effectiveness in supporting the development of the latest catalysts, adsorbents, and process technologies. Support all team driven HS&E initiatives.
The annual base salary or/ hourly pay range for this position is $43,800.00 $54,700.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Monitors equipment and manufacturing process with minimal supervision. Sets-up, cleans-up, and maintains equipment. Reacts appropriately to unanticipated conditions and intended actions and informs supervision. Observes quality characteristics of products and processes. Completes documentation per current good manufacturing practice guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities:
+ Learn and follow department policies, procedures, and guidelines. Complete documentation and supporting data per current good manufacturing process policies and guidelines.
+ Note quality issues and address with appropriate people.
+ Review procedures and batch records and make suggestions for improvements. During pre runs, post runs and when reviewing direction sets identify issues (safety and process) and help to correct them.
+ -Inspect equipment for cleanliness and sign off equipment per procedure at the end of the process. Consistently give an accurate and complete material and equipment status report when handing off manufacturing process.
+ Assist with engineering and validation groups to implement new equipment into operations.
+ Communicate with warehouse to ensure timely and proper staging for process.
+ Acknowledge commodity needs and order needed supplies.
+ Assist as back up Team Leader, if applicable.
Qualifications
+ High School diploma required; Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in scientific related field desirable.
+ Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience, pharmaceutical, or similar environment as an Operator or Technician required.
+ Experience with validation, technical troubleshooting and document management required.
+ Basic technical or mechanical background and knowledge.
+ Ability to read, understand and follow verbal and written operating instructions and the process and flows described on equipment and computer monitors.
+ Write at a level sufficient enough to thoroughly explain deviations or mistakes in process.
+ Ability to add, subtract, divide, multiply, use decimals and fractions, recognize and measure proportions and do basic algebraic math at an intermediate level of competency.
+ Proven problem solving skills and ability to work independently and make decisions on almost all problems independently.
+ Consistently execute technician tasks successfully for which training has been completed.
