This customer facing, non-exempt HP PC/Printer field break/fix position provides a wide range of hardware support and related services specifically to HP's PC Products customers. Products include Laptop, Desktop, RPOS, and Workstation products. Printer knowledge is a huge plus. A fast paced, constantly changing environment that requires positive approaches and demonstrated success at handling multiple stressors. Candidates must be self-contained, resourceful and determined for success.
This is a team based group of self-starting, technical/mechanical delivery professional. This ever changing environment presents each team member with various daily events that educate customers about the technology, manage critical service events, and interact with multiple levels of both HP and customer management/teams. These teams are responsible for completely satisfied customers and helping to grow HP's business in a profitable manner and within budget. - Strong interpersonal verbal/written skills; especially in person, on a customer site. This is critical to relationship building and expectations.

**What does a successful Printer Technician do at Fiserv?**
You will join the team at our Stafford, TX location and receive training on how to repair our world class Print Production equipment. You will perform difficult and complex technical maintenance duties. Your role will involve following a preventative maintenance schedule for our production machines and electrical/electronic equipment. Additionally, you'll need to ensure the completion of your assigned maintenance work orders and regularly check the progress of your work throughout the facility.
As a valued member of our team, you will be provided opportunities to continue your company paid education with a local area college. You will gain maintenance repair insight with on-the-job training to learn how to troubleshoot and repair over 20 different specialized print production equipment. We provide the tools on-site that you will need to complete the assigned tasks; while ensuring you have the support needed to advance your career with us.
**What you will do:**
+ Perform disassembly, repair, or replacement of parts and/or production equipment
+ Conduct fitting and alignment of mechanical components for proper functioning

+ Diagnose and correct maintenance issues on Statement and Invoices Equipment, Mail Inserters, Cut Sheet Printers and Laser Printers

- Operate and manage manual and automated screen printing presses, including brands such as Workhorse and M& R.
- Prepare screens, inks, and substrates for production processes.
- Print high-quality graphics on various materials, including garments and rigid substrates like acrylic and plastics.
- Ensure precise alignment and registration of artwork on all substrates.
- Inspect completed products to verify print quality, color accuracy, and proper alignment.
- Troubleshoot printing issues and perform adjustments to minimize downtime.

- Collaborate with design and production teams to meet project specifications and deadlines.

- Proficiency in operating manual and automated screen printing presses, such as Workhorse and M& R.
- Experience working with diverse substrates, including apparel and non-porous materials like acrylic and plastics.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in color matching and print alignment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Solid understanding of screen printing processes, including inks, mesh counts, and press setup.

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 4:00 pm - 12:00 am
3rd Shift: Monday - Friday 12:00 am - 8:00 am
Responsibilities: other duties may be assigned as needed
- Helps with printing press set-up at each changeover.
- Helps with the set-up of WIP totes, bags, and pallets.
- Removes blanks from conveyor and randomly inspects for non-conformities (defects)
- Properly align and stack the WIP blanks into WIP plastic bags (following the product layout sheet provided) Assure WIP blanks are oriented with "tick marks" in the same position/direction through the packing process.
- Removes full/completed WIP pallets of blanks and replaces them with empty WIP totes.
- Keep time and count records of finished blanks.
- Helps clean up between jobs (cleans pans (inks and coatings), plates, wipes down machine)
- Empties paper scrap tote/cart before the end of the shift.
- Keeps overall area clean and free of any risk of injury.
- Break other printer packers (when possible)
- Follow all food and personal safety rules and regulations with respect to GMPs, OSHA, HACCP, the Global Food Safety Initiative, and the site SQF program as stated in the FS&Q Policy, HSE, and sanitation guidelines as set forth by the company.

- Able to work prolonged periods on your feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds consistently
- Able to walk up and down stairs multiple times during a shift
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts produced

We are seeking a Screen Printer to join our team! As a Screen Printer, you will be taking a customers designs, color separating them, and ultimately putting their vision onto the final product in an attractive way that is true to the original design. You will also be operating and maintaining all screen printing equipment, troubleshooting as needed, and utilizing photo manipulation software. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving abilities, can work on multiple projects at any given time, and an eye for detail and design.
