**What does a successful Printer Technician do at Fiserv?**
You will join the team at our Stafford, TX location and receive training on how to repair our world class Print Production equipment. You will perform difficult and complex technical maintenance duties. Your role will involve following a preventative maintenance schedule for our production machines and electrical/electronic equipment. Additionally, you'll need to ensure the completion of your assigned maintenance work orders and regularly check the progress of your work throughout the facility.
As a valued member of our team, you will be provided opportunities to continue your company paid education with a local area college. You will gain maintenance repair insight with on-the-job training to learn how to troubleshoot and repair over 20 different specialized print production equipment. **What you will do:**
+ Perform disassembly, repair, or replacement of parts and/or production equipment
+ Conduct fitting and alignment of mechanical components for proper functioning
+ Utilize troubleshooting techniques to provide temporary and long-term fixes to minimize downtime
+ Diagnose and correct maintenance issues on Statement and Invoices Equipment, Mail Inserters, Cut Sheet Printers and Laser Printers

**What you will need to have:**

+ 3+ years of progressive maintenance repair and electronic/mechanical troubleshooting
+ Willing to go back to school to earn degree or certification

**Field Representative I, Services Onsite Technician**
POSITION PROFILE
The Field Representative I, Services Onsite Technician is responsible for the daily support, service, repair and availability of RICOH managed devices within a specified geographic area.
Responds to service requests and device alerts as well as technical support and training with a focus toward customer service.
Capable of device set-up and installation, preventative maintenance, and routine service of assigned RICOH and 3 rd party manufacturer devices.
Serviceable device types include printers and multi-functional devices as well as other assets supported as part of RICOH's Service Advantage program (thermal print, lockers, robots, etc.)
Documents all service calls and requests using RICOH OFSC and customer provided (when applicable) systems.
Works to ensure that the service level agreements between the customer and RICOH are achieved.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
?· Responsible for the daily monitoring of device service and supply alerts, responding to and resolving service requests so device availability meets service level agreements
?· Performs a full range of servicing and repair service procedures including troubleshooting, diagnostics, installation, component replacement, device "hot swap", removal, and retrofits on assigned equipment
?· Utilizes remote support resources to resolve service issues and minimize dispatch
?· Escalates issues to Level 2 and technician resource support as necessary
?· Performs basic and advanced installations, sets up IP addresses, downloads printer drivers and provides customer training on supported devices
?· Documents all service call and request activity using OFSC and other applications when applicable
?· Replenishes and replaces consumables and supplies for devices at assigned locations
?· Responsible for the accurate management and maintenance of their parts, supply, and asset inventories
?· Monitor and return unused and excess RICOH owned supplies as PAR levels dictate
?· Adheres to IMACD process, supporting functional tasks and communicating statuses in a timely manner
?· Demonstrates technical expertise and good customer relation skills

?· Physical effort is required to move objects on wheels that may weigh up to 400 pounds.
?· Frequent stooping, bending, squatting and kneeling are required to service equipment at floor level.
?· Tool cases and assorted service-related tools weighing up to 50 pounds must be carried to a variety of machine locations. Often these locations are upstairs.
?· In the case of technicians assigned a walking territory, extensive foot travel is necessary.
?· A fairly high level of dexterity is required in the regular use of a variety of hand tools. These tools will include, but are not limited to, screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, and some electronic testing equipment. There is an emphasis on fine-motor skills for work on small electronic and mechanical components.

Position – Press Operator-Printing

Job Location – Sun Prairie, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Contract to Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – Evening Shift (6:00pm - 6:00am)

Starting Pay – $19.00 + $ Shift Premium= 20/hr

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED

Press Department:

• 12 Hour Shifts (Temp-to-Hire), Day and Night shifts (6-6). Typically working 3 days one week and 4 the next. However, Press is currently working under mandatory OT so folks will be working 5 days per week. This is anticipated to last until Thanksgiving. Day shift Press rate is $15/ho r and night shift is 16/hour. Obviously folks have great earning potential here!

Under the direction of the Press Room Manager

First Press Operator, assists in the operation and maintenance of a heat set web press

to ensure the production of high-quality printed materials.


ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (the items listed reflect management’s

assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be

assigned):

1. Use Technique to read and understand the job ticket, conduct data recording and

layout sheet for setup and printing instructions.

2. Understand and utilize the Omnicom format on the Sunday presses.

3. Prepare the press for the current job with the necessary supplies for that job, i.e., the

paper, ink, UV, and corresponding blanket.

4. Achieve and maintain proper web alignment and tension.

5. Monitor running tension and keep the press crew alerted to all upcoming splices

including mill splices.

6. Hang and remove press plates in units.

7. Have the proper cartoning and related materials ready for the job.

8. Use clamp to move logs safely.

9. Change ink totes and ink barrels.

10. Setup, operate and maintain stacker.

11. Setup, operate and maintain sheeter.

12. Set color.

13. Read and interpret a ruler.

14. Help web the press and assist in folder or sheeter setup.

15. Fill out quality checklist for folder and sheeter.

16. Setup UV coater (and clean when finished).

17. Check and monitor product being delivered into stacker or sheeter, i.e., square fold,

rubbing or marking, stacking product properly, gusset, position of UV varnish,

perfs/scores.

18. Remove waste bin at end of form.

19. Cross-train on other presses.

20. Get prepared for the next job before the current job ends.

21. Ensure compliance with Royle and OSHA safety and health rules. Understand and

22. Conduct preventative and general maintenance of the machine.

23. Assist in clean up, wash ups and maintaining of an orderly and neat work

environment.

24. Discuss project specifications with the next shift at shift change.

NON ESSENTAIL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (the items that are not essential and those

**JOB SUMMARY:**
The Offset Printing Press Operator role is responsible for safely operating and maintaining an Offset Printing Press to efficiently and effectively manufacture folding cartons.
**JOB FUNCTIONS:** Job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
+ Machine setup, adjustments and make readies
+ Troubleshooting of machine and quality issues
+ Assist with maintenance, machine setups, etc.
+ Completion of required product and process audits
+ Exchange of information with shifts prior to/following work shift
+ Adherence to quality specifications
+ Identification of product/process enhancements to improve efficiencies, reduce downtime & spoilage
+ Production schedule output and timeframes
+ Effectively leading work crew to meet production goals
+ Attend team meetings
+ Must be able to differentiate colors
+ Train new team members to ensure job duties are performed efficiently and effectively
+ Maintain a clean and safe work area
+ Enforcing compliance with all company policies (GMP/AIB/Safety)
+ Perform other duties, as assigned
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:**
+ Must have prior printing experience as either an Operator l or Operator II with related job duties and responsibilities.
+ In-depth understanding of printing concepts
+ Strong mechanical aptitude
+ General math skills
+ Ability to troubleshoot equipment and quality issues
+ Post-secondary education in printing technologies a plus
**JOB SPECIFICATIONS:**
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
