**Position Purpose:**
Responsible for supervising and scheduling day-to-day operational activities to include troubleshooting, health, safety, and environmental compliance issues and policies, quality assurance/control, determining cost of supplies versus labor, providing technical expertise on operational modifications, hiring and training of subordinates, etc. Assist immediate supervisor in the annual preparation of goals versus forecasted budgeted allowances as well as conducting special exploratory assignments. Coordinate and follow waste feed plan to kiln.
**Primary Duties /Responsibilities:**
+ Coordinates and meets kiln waste feed plan
+ Ensures waste tracking compliance
+ Manages waste discrepancies and rejects accordingly
+ Assure employees to wear proper PPE during the execution of duties
+ Responds to emergencies as required
+ Enforces all compliance, health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with departmental and regional requirements.
+ Oversee compliance with all OSHA, EPA, DOT, and all other governmental regulations.
+ Attends and arranges for all required training courses.
+ Oversees operation of all equipment including maintenance to ensure optimum utilization.
+ Assists with the training of team members to ensure appropriate performance standards within the various functional areas of the site.
+ Maintain a professional image to clients by answering inquiries and suggesting alternative solutions to existing and/or potential problems.
**Qualifications**
**Education / Experience / Background:**
+ BS in Chemistry or a related science discipline or equivalent work experience required
+ 4 to 6 years of hazardous waste experience preferred
**Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:**
+ Extensive knowledge in the following areas: DOT, EPA, TSCA, and OSHA
+ Knowledge of site capabilities and limitations prior to treatment and/or shipping hazardous & non-hazardous waste materials to ensure efficient disbursement and storage.

**JOB SUMMARY/DESCRIPTION:**
Operate and maintain systems associated with a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) facility while demonstrating safety awareness and direction that will continuously improve performance by employees and contractors through the use and strict adherence to procedures and processes.
**JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Maintain regulatory compliance and be proactive in dealing with all agencies and avoid reportable violations.
+ Required participation in the multi-year Production Technician multi skill progression plan to develop key skills in maintenance and operations. Upon completion the employee should have the desire, aptitude and ability to meet board operator qualification.
+ Conduct and participate in job briefings and safety meetings.
+ Be responsible for Contractor Safety and conduct Contractor Safety Orientations as needed.
+ Applies understanding and knowledge of plant systems, burner controls (where applicable), turbine controls, data acquisition, process controls, regulating devices, personal computers, troubleshooting, etc.
+ Operational duties include, but not limited to, operating the control board, making operational rounds, performing PM/PDM activities, Water Plant & Ultra filtration/Reverse Osmosis operations & maintenance preferred, not required, CEMS monitoring and calibrations.
+ Applies skills to perform inspections, calibrations, installations, repairs, diagnostics, testing and troubleshooting of complex instrumentation equipment and regulating devices in a CCGT facility, alone and as part of a team.
+ Perform mechanical work involved in inspection, repair and installation of instrumentation and electrical equipment, and Preventive Maintenance/Corrective Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems.
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:**
**Minimum Education:**
+ 2 Year Associate's Degree in Industrial Electronics, Instrumentation/Controls or Production/Process Technology or equivalent work experience.
**Minimum Experience:**
+ **Production Technician III** : 0 - 2 years of experience in a CCGT facility in an Operations or Maintenance position; **OR** 4 years of power plant operations/maintenance/electrical experience.
+ **Production Technician II -** **I** : 2 - 5 years of experience in a CCGT facility in an Operations or Maintenance position; **OR** 5 years of power plant operations/maintenance/electrical experience.
+ **Production Technician CRO** : 5+ years of experience in a CCGT facility in an Operations or Maintenance position; **OR** 10 years of power plant operations/maintenance/electrical experience.

**Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**
