This position may be filled as a Production Technician III, II, I, or CRO based on the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate.
JOB SUMMARY/DESCRIPTION:
Operate and maintain systems associated with a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) facility while demonstrating safety awareness and direction that will continuously improve performance by employees and contractors through the use and strict adherence to procedures and processes.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain regulatory compliance and be proactive in dealing with all agencies and avoid reportable violations.

Required participation in the multi-year Production Technician multi skill progression plan to develop key skills in maintenance and operations. Upon completion the employee should have the desire, aptitude and ability to meet board operator qualification.

Conduct and participate in job briefings and safety meetings.

Be responsible for Contractor Safety and conduct Contractor Safety Orientations as needed.

Applies understanding and knowledge of plant systems, burner controls (where applicable), turbine controls, data acquisition, process controls, regulating devices, personal computers, troubleshooting, etc.

Operational duties include, but not limited to, operating the control board, making operational rounds, performing PM/PDM activities, Water Plant & Ultra filtration/Reverse Osmosis operations & maintenance preferred, not required, CEMS monitoring and calibrations.

Applies skills to perform inspections, calibrations, installations, repairs, diagnostics, testing and troubleshooting of complex instrumentation equipment and regulating devices in a CCGT facility, alone and as part of a team.

Perform mechanical work involved in inspection, repair and installation of instrumentation and electrical equipment, and Preventive Maintenance/Corrective Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Education:
- 2 Year Associate's Degree in Industrial Electronics, Instrumentation/Controls or Production/Process Technology or equivalent work experience.
Minimum Experience:

Production Technician III : 0 - 2 years of experience in a CCGT facility in an Operations or Maintenance position; OR 4 years of power plant operations/maintenance/electrical experience.

Production Technician II - I : 2 - 5 years of experience in a CCGT facility in an Operations or Maintenance position; OR 5 years of power plant operations/maintenance/electrical experience.

Production Technician CRO : 5+ years of experience in a CCGT facility in an Operations or Maintenance position; OR 10 years of power plant operations/maintenance/electrical experience.
Either the minimum education or minimum experience requirements must be met by the applicant for job consideration.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must be good at communicating, both verbal and written, the results of evaluation of assignments to supervision.

Employees are required to climb stairs, ladders and walk or stand for extended periods. Overtime and callouts during holidays, nights and off days should be expected on a routine basis. Use of personal computer applications is necessary daily to log equipment data, log time worked and to communicate with various levels of our organization. Skills in Microsoft Word and Excel are very beneficial. You will join a team of about 500 employees and work 1st shift. You will report to a Shift Lead. Job Description
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will direct and supervise plant personnel and provides direction in operations area to produce the best quality product possible, at the least cost standards. You will coordinate the availability of raw materials; ensure the functioning of production machinery is adequate to meet production demands. You will develop, train, and schedule necessary personnel to meet all production demands. Additionally, you will partner with HR for personnel issues, including interviews, hiring, evaluations, corrective counseling, and further training as required.
**Position Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for food safety and quality.
+ Supervise production line supervision to ensure product is produced according to Company specifications and meet production, usage, and labor objectives.
+ Allocate labor to meet or exceed Company standards.
+ Oversee the overall cleanliness of the plant production areas.
+ Assure compliance of OSHA regulations and corporate policies.
+ Assure work force is properly trained in job requirements.
+ Ensure flow of critical information to all levels and shifts of plant management.
+ Monitor correct ingredient usage at plant standards while maintaining quality goals.
+ Coordinate production requirements with maintenance and engineering to ensure plant goals are obtained.
+ Promote continuous improvement in production process to improve safety, cost effectiveness, and product quality.
+ Maintain a safe work environment for all employees.
+ Assure safety awareness and training is provided by supervisors.
+ Support safety programs.
+ Report ingredient usage and labor figures for proper costing and recall requirements.
+ Share key metrics with supervisors to promote continuous improvement.
+ Interface with Human Resources.
**Position Qualifications**
+ B. S. degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Biology, Industrial Management, or related field from a four-year college or university
+ 4+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the food industry;
+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
+ Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
+ Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
+ Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
+ Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
+ Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

**Compensation:**
Pay Range:$81,000-$118,000
