Job Responsibilities

Position Summary:  

Build Lincoln Electric Automation designed machinery and equipment for the welding, grinding, and metal casting industries.

Position Responsibilities:

  • With limited supervision, performs electrical and mechanical assembly work involving automation equipment, including control panels, and robots.
  • Capable of meeting established goals in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Utilize problem identification and resolution systems.
  • Keep team members informed through timely utilization of company systems, verbal and written reports.
  • Investigates and provides feedback to resolve technical questions and problems. 
  • Organize build site and supplies.
  • Operate forklift and cranes.
  • Work well with customers as required to successfully complete projects.

Job Requirements

* Provides leadership and training to accomplish plant/company goals and objectives in accordance with JELD-WEN's Mission Statement.
* Implements and maintains preventative maintenance programs.
* Assists in development, and implements safety awareness programs, communicates safety issues, corrects safety related problems, and assists in investigations into safety related issues as needed and as directed.
* Assists in the performance evaluations of staff, and assists in proactive actions of subordinate personnel on an annual, bi-annual, or on an as needed basis.

Who You Are

* Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a related field and one (1) to three (3) years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the window and door industry; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, to be determined by plant management.
* Some related college work and five (5) to seven (7) years of applicable work experience, to be determined by plant management.
* Knowledge of raw materials, preferably for door and window applications.
* Fundamental knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing process improvement techniques including, but not limited to, SQDCI, OTD, TPS, and Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies and activities.
* Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, technical aptitude, and problem solving skills, and the ability to drive manufacturing process improvement techniques throughout the production process in a skillful and deliberate manner.

* Supervises the production plan to ensure attainment of the Sales plan.
* Schedules material and human resources to meet the Production plan.

* Coach, mentor, and discipline employees as necessary.
* Complete 90 day and annual reviews for Subordinates in the Value Stream.

Requirements (education, experience, travel, physical, work environment):

* 4-year college degree in Engineering/Manufacturing/Business Administration preferred.
* Five (5) years' experience with proficiency in the specialty vehicle or truck and bus chassis manufacturing field with production supervision experience.
* Experience in managing technical personnel highly desirable.
* Financial/P&L experience to include creating and managing budgets, forecasting revenue and expenses is preferred.
* Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel to include presenting information to individuals and small groups.
* Advanced problem solving, time management and project management skills

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for preparing menu items for all meal programs using established recipes and cooking procedures. Employee will use large quantity food equipment. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for preparing and cooking food for all meal programs as assigned, using standardized recipes and established cooking procedures. Reports recipe yields to supervisors daily.

Responsible for using small and large quantity cooking equipment to prepare foods. Employee operates convection ovens, large mixers, steam kettles, knives, whips, and other equipment as needed to complete job tasks. Responsible for reporting any equipment malfunctions to supervisor.

Incorporates safe food handling practices into all job tasks. Follows department procedures for sanitation, and temperature monitoring and documentation.

Ensures food items produced meet department standards for quality, taste and appearance.

Responsible for cleaning work areas as assigned.

Responsible for completing other departmental and agency duties as assigned. This includes participating in departmental meetings and trainings.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed in a large institutional kitchen. May work in refrigerated and freezer areas in the kitchen. Work scheduled hours per day between a.m. opening and p.m. closing Monday through Friday with some weekends as assigned. Days off during the week will be scheduled when weekend work is required. Must work holidays as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school degree or equivalent.

Prefer 6 months food service experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Position Summary: Selects products from pick ticket and stage orders. Replenish stock as needed. Maintain cleanliness of work space by performing the following duties.

What you'll do:
  • Reads physical inventory and with help of supervisor makes decisions as to what raw material is used for production
  • Supports thaw room activates including stocking, pulling, cleaning etc.
  • Move raw material around the facility as needed.
  • Perform all tasks associated with the perpetual inventory roll out and execution.
  • Crush boxes as needed and scan them out of the system.
  • Take inventory if needed of particular items of note in our facility.
  • Sort/grade product as per customer specs into designated locations.
  • Build large orders for customers as needed.
  • Maintain an overall level of cleanliness and order in the warehouse.
About you:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 months of experience
L1-MS1

JOB PURPOSE:

The Production Technician is responsible for building complex rehab equipment based on the order specifications received from ATPs and assisting with other warehouse duties as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepares equipment for delivery according to the order specifications.
  • Assures the assembled equipment matches the order specifications.
  • Assists with receiving as needed.
  • Assists with maintaining an organized warehouse.
  • Sustains a clean, organized and safe work environment in the shop/warehouse.
  • Participates in physical inventory counts and reconciliation.
  • Utilizes Numotion Leadership Principles to perform job with integrity, compliance, and values consistent with Numotion’s mission.
  • Adheres to employee and customer confidentiality and complies with Numotion’s policies and federal regulations.
  • Provides excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the operations at all times. Provides solutions for customer concerns and continually focuses on customer service as our top priority.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • One year experience in relevant mechanical experience.
  • Basic computer skills (Word Processing, Email, Excel, and Internet).

PREFERRED COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools.
  • Experience with assembly of medical equipment is a plus.
  • Warehouse inventory is a plus.
