What You'll Do:
As the Electronic Engineering Associate, you will research, plan, and execute on projects to design, diagnose, and repair circuit boards, fixtures, and other electronic devices to support the manufacturing and engineering departments, while ensuring a high-level of quality and output for our customers.
Your Accountabilities in The Role:
- Trouble-shoots, diagnoses, and repairs circuit boards, test fixtures, and other devices to correct obstacles for a high-quality product.
- Programs testing devices, as well as other equipment, to create highly efficient processes.
- Researches, plans, and builds test fixtures and devices for our remote-control products, validating that they are functioning appropriately.
- Partners with the Engineering team to build first level prototypes on new products, ensuring alignment to specifications and functionality.
- Supports the Engineering team in designing and writing software to meet customer specifications.
- Handles product returns, diagnosis, and corrective actions timely for our clients.
- Reviews common repair obstacles with Engineering to support the development of enhanced technology.
- Provides ongoing support to various departments, as needed, to meet the overall goals of the business.
Position Requirements:
- Education: Associates Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology or similar certifications; will consider a combination of course work and/or experience.
- Experience: 2+ years of applied electronic course work or related experience in an electronic position. Will train the right person with related course work.
- Functional Skills: Fundamental knowledge of schematics and the design, diagnosis and repair of circuit boards. Strong attention to detail; excellent ability to research, problem-solve and create solutions in a timely manner. Ability to move to various projects as needed.
- Technology Aptitude/Skills: Strong Microsoft Office Skillset; solid in other programs for electrical/electronic production.
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; along with good presentation skills.
- Leadership/Behaviors: Self-starter with proven ability to manage projects independently, initiative, collaboration, and influencing skills to effectively assist in the implementation of new products. High compliance to do things accurately and quality is also important. Good listener, with a calm demeanor, who can be flexible, listen, and invoke great ideas to make the best decisions.

In this role, the Civil Engineer will be responsible for spearheading engineering projects from concept to completion, this includes design, delegating and supervising the work of other engineers. Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems on proposed plans for projects. Diversified knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices in broad areas experience is most preferred for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the project design team, coordinate schedules with the project managers and supervisors to ensure that deadlines are met.
- You will assist in the preparation of proposals including cost estimates and review permit applications, specifications, bid documents, report writing.
- Establish relationships with permitting agencies and develop review submittals.
- Coordinates technical and administrative activities with other disciplines and subconsultants.
- During the construction administration phase, determines team roles, performs site observations, and spot field checks, facilitates RFI responses, and maintains submittals.
- Mentors and trains junior staff, coordinates continuing education for technical staff and participates in department-wide training.
- A bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in state of MI or IN
- 4+ years of related experience in civil engineering
- Projects experience preferred: municipal, roadway design, sanitary sewers, water mains, storm sewers, trails, traffic signals, site design for residential, commercial, educational, and industrial projects.
- Excellent communicator, self-motivated and able to work independently or with a team.
- AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Suite programs, preferred.

Primary responsibilities for this role include:
- Supervising a team of Senior Project Managers in the day-to-day operation of transportation projects including: project delivery performance, pricing strategies, risk management, forecasting and budgeting, and performance reporting. This PMCL's portfolio of projects would potentially include work with various DOTs, municipal agencies, turnpikes and transit organizations.
- Providing interpretation of monthly performance figures to support the overall business unit management and to the project managers to resolve project issues and improve project performance.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Strong Project Management experience including: the development of scope, schedule, and budget, and the subsequent monitoring of cost and schedule.
- Previous experience managing a team of Project Managers.
- Business development skills and experience such as client service and proposal preparation.
- Leadership skills to drive a culture that emphasizes profitability, quality deliverables, and legendary client service.
- Current PM certification (either PMP, CCM or DBIA), or the ability to acquire said certification within 12 months of hire.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
