US-California- Pleasanton: Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Project Management Office GSD Operations, this role is a key enabler for the continued growth for the global GSD businesses, dPCR, and global GSD projects. Leading the way from the Pleasanton, CA site, you'll be part of the Technical Operations PMO leadership team implementing key business initiatives, managing critical projects, and lead a team of project managers to deliver new products to market and process improvements for the existing manufacturing infrastructure.

The Manager role is key influencer in technical operations across assays, consumables, reagents, and instruments. In this role you'll lead the Pleasanton Project Management Office (PMO). As part of the global Technical Operations leadership team, you will support global technical operations by running critical projects in addition to leading a team of project managers to implement key business initiatives, such as driving new product introductions (NPIs) to market and process improvements for the existing manufacturing infrastructure.

+ Maintain the Pleasanton portfolio roadmap and ensure alignment with BU strategies

**Keys to Success:**
**Education**
+ Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, molecular biology, or equivalent.
+ PPI training and/or PMP certification are highly desirable.
**Experience**
+ 10+ years of experience in Biotech or a related industry with a focus on project management and/or product development
+ 3+ years of experience managing direct reports preferred
+ Experience leading new product introduction and productivity projects in an IVD or reagent, liquid handling and consumable manufacturing environment?

**Compensation and Benefits**
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $112,500.00-$168,750.00.

Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated New Equipment Project Manager to oversee coordination of activities on multiple new equipment installation projects. The NE Project Manager will ensure efficiency, cost containment, and customer satisfaction.
**On a typical day you will:**
+ Ensure flawless execution of each project by completing on schedule, within budget, and meets all technical & safety standards, regulatory compliance requirements, and customer expectations
+ Coordinate all contract activities from the project award stage to completion of the elevator and escalator installation and provide a progress review of projects to ensure that contract documents are consistent with the required scope of the project
+ Proactively communicate with multiple representatives including general contractors, owners, building managers, architects and designers, State and Local authorities and regulatory agencies concerning project design, preparations, and scheduling of installation for the equipment
+ Ability to work closely with the internal sales staff, construction superintendents, and senior leadership to ensure a successful project from both the financial and customer perspectives
+ Perform construction process duties including managing billing, consultant and contractors' payments, processing RFIs and optimizing change order opportunities, as well as maximizing project cash coverage
+ Accurately interpret construction contractual documents and contract modifications to determine cost of such change
+ Read and review architectural and structural drawings
+ Accurately analyze situations and assist in developing contingencies for estimates

+ Minimum of 2-3 years related project management and/or construction experience preferred

Summary of Job (brief description)

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join Soleno Therapeutics as a Project Manager at the Director level. The position will be responsible for providing project management expertise and offering support to our key cross functional programs involving Clinical, Regulatory, Commercial and CMC project teams, ensuring that program and project priorities are executed in accordance with Soleno’s corporate goals.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain integrated project plan(s) to ensure completion of project objectives in a timely fashion and within budget.
  • For key meetings (e.g., project team, meetings with partners), prepare agendas, facilitate discussions, prepare minutes, track decisions and issues and action-items.
  • Focus on follow-up on action items to ensure timely resolution.
  • Compile, track and maintain status reports of program progress and present to key internal stakeholders.
  • Support Finance in developing program budgets and tracking actuals to forecast. Proactively identify areas where there are significant deviations and where resource savings could be realized.
  • Review critical documents to ensure they are in line with program and project goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate internal resources and CMO/CRO, vendors/suppliers for the flawless execution of projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline; a higher degree preferred.
  • 10 + years of experience in pharmaceutical project management, including late-state Clinical, Regulatory and CMC development through commercialization stages.
  • PMP certification strongly preferred but not required.
  • Must thrive working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop important relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong conflict management and negotiation skills.
