KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer to join our team supporting a government client with locations in Washington Metropolitan Area.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer you will develop, implement, and manage Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes for various programs over their life cycle, ensuring that employees and contractors meet their responsibilities for product quality in accordance with requirements and expectations, and that systems created meet requirements. You will plan and direct activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for engineering processes as well as other processes on the contract. You will provide an independent assessment of how the project(s) processes being implemented are performing relative to the defined process and recommends methods to optimize the organization's process
Qualifications:
Required:
+ Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
+ Must be a US Citizen
+ Bachelor's degree in related field with a focus on Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
+ Has training and/or certifications related to Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
+ Experience developing project Quality Assurance Plans and the implementation of procedures that conforms.
+ Experience working with teams to implement QA/QC procedures and to monitor performance relative to those procedures.
+ Experience reviewing and ensuring adequacy of all test plans, procedures, and reports for assigned programs
Basic Compensation:
$63,300 - $95,000
This range is for the Maryland area only
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.

DMCS Contact Center Quality team is an essential part of the DMCS program. Its objective is to utilize operational techniques and activities to satisfy quality requirements. Quality includes activities aimed at the detection and correction of errors, faults, discrepancies and/or defects in products or services prior to delivery. QC activities generate testing or review results of work efforts and provide feedback that supports Quality Assurance (QA) and drives continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the program products and services. The role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability for the organization's products and/or development processes. This position is in Reston, VA. Key Responsibilities:Develop and oversee the implementation of quality assurance protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with all government, contractual, and company regulations and standards.Lead the quality assurance team to conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement within the organization's processes or products.Collaborate with program managers and other team leaders to ensure quality standards are understood and integrated into all aspects of project execution.Analyze failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to customer complaints or non-conformance issues.Manage and maintain the company's quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes, and finished goods.Set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures, including preparing quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.Engage with external quality assurance officers during on-site inspections and provide required information.Implement and improve quality assurance tools and processes to ensure the scalability and reliability of our operations.Guide technical staff to achieve quality standards and provide training and support as needed.Coordinate with government representatives and auditors regarding compliance issues, and participate in external audits/evaluations.Maintain current knowledge of relevant quality assurance techniques and practices pertinent to the intelligence community.Qualifications Required Education:Bachelor's degree and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Master's degree and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience.Desired Education:Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, management information systems, or equivalent experience.Required Experience:Minimum of 8 years of quality assurance experience in the intelligence community or defense contracting.Demonstrated understanding of quality assurance standards and methodologies relevant to the intelligence community.Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is highly desirable.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.Proficient in data collection, analysis, metrics generation and reporting.Exceptional leadership and management abilities to oversee a quality assurance program.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management and staff, as well as external partners and contractorsDesired Experience:Proven ability to develop and implement a Quality Management System to AS9100/ISO-9001.Experience with Confluence.Adapts easily to a dynamic environment. Provide the Operations Management Staff with status updates and feedback on:
- FEMA customer satisfaction.
- Internal service performance.
Lead communications to the FEMA workforce and recommend improved business solutions and processes based on customer feedback.
Manage and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and address issues or escalations during the contract period.
Ensure all deliverables meet required standards, best practices, and quality expectations.

Markon is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee quality control and compliance activities on large-scale government construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure all construction activities meet contractual, safety, and quality standards, and will play a critical role in maintaining documentation and supporting quality assurance best practices at the job site.
Responsibilities- Review, document, and report on the contractor's adherence to construction and material quality standards.
- Monitor and evaluate the contractor's use of industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with contract and project documentation.
- Oversee and report on coordination between the contractor and other contracted projects.
- Conduct routine and scheduled inspections of the construction site.
- Attend and document daily tailgate briefings conducted by the Design-Build-Operate-Maintain (DBOM) contractor.
- Maintain comprehensive site documents and daily logs, including:
- Personnel and companies working on site.
- Daily events, accomplishments, and incidents.
- Material usage, milestones, and schedule adherence.
- Documentation of any deficiencies or non-conformances
- Active TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance
- Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) certification, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience working under U.S. Government construction contracts.
- Experience with the commissioning of large-scale construction projects.
- Solid understanding of the 3-Phase Quality Control System (Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-up Phases)
Preferred qualifications:
- Valid and current construction safety certification.
- ACI (American Concrete Institute) Concrete Construction Special Inspector certification.
- Strong documentation and communication skills, especially in field environments.
Prior experience supporting classified or secure site operations is a plus
