**Job Responsibilities:**
- Contact carrier representatives to make transport arrangements
- Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment, including packing & labeling.
- Records shipment data, including weight, dimensions and serial numbers, as well as additional data required for shipments.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
Experience : 6 months or more of Shipping and Receiving experience
Education/Certification: High School diploma or equivalent
Knowledge: Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes; Knowledge of 5S principles including the ability to apply them to the work environment; Knowledge of procedures for safely lifting and/or moving packages up to 20 pounds in weight

What you will be doing
Lead associates in a specific shift/area while supervising warehouse operations to ensure functions are performed within

The Role
As the Senior Manager, Warehouse Operations for CookUnity Los Angeles, you will lead all aspects of warehouse operations at one of our most dynamic and high-volume facilities. Responsibilities
- Oversee all warehouse operations at our Los Angeles facility, including receiving, storage, inventory management, ingredient picking, and outbound distribution.
- Manage a team of salaried and hourly associates and leaders (30+ direct and indirect reports)
- Serve as the WMS and ERP system lead for the LA site, ensuring alignment between software tools and operational workflows.
- Develop and execute warehouse layouts, racking strategies, and inventory zoning to maximize space and improve material flow.
- Lead a team of Supervisors and Associates, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and high performance.
- Own KPIs such as inventory accuracy, order cycle time, spoilage, and labor utilization; develop and implement strategies to improve these metrics.
- Partner with Culinary and Fulfillment to align on ingredient readiness, finished goods hand-off, and quality standards.
- Manage warehouse labor planning and the site's operational budget; ensure labor productivity is continuously optimized.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies targeting material handling, storage optimization, and data accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with food safety protocols (e.g., HACCP), sanitation practices, and warehouse safety standards.
- Provide warehouse input into S&OP and site capacity planning processes.
- Travel occasionally (5-10%) to support company-wide initiatives and collaborate with peers at other CookUnity sites.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; or equivalent operational experience in fast-paced warehouse settings.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or supply chain operations, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success managing warehouse teams in food production, manufacturing, or high-volume fulfillment environments.
- Strong understanding of HACCP, warehouse safety protocols, and food handling requirements.
- Experience with ERP, WMS, and MRP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Infor) and the ability to lead system optimization or rollouts.
- Proven ability to manage site budgets, labor plans, and operational metrics.

Job Description
Performs timely and accurate cycle counts of inventory, completes correct inventory adjustments and performs inventory control activities for the purpose of maintaining accuracy at the item and location level. Performs all duties safely, accurately and meets set productivity goals.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Perform quarterly cycle counting of inventory to ensure accuracy of perpetual inventory including product information (lot tracking and date integrity), product condition (damage/spoilage), stock location (mis-picks), proper location and pick slotting and any other inventory status specification.
+ Make accurate cycle count adjustments in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) as required to provide correct information for planning and evaluation activities.
+ Communicate detailed information for any potential loss of inventory (expiration, temp issues, etc.) to Manager, Inventory Control or Director, Warehouse Operations to ensure timely action on volatile inventory.
+ Correct any product found in the incorrect storage location during cycle counts, complete a Quality Incident Packet indicating the associate who mis-located the product and provide to operations for associate follow up.
+ Research Lost Pallet Report and identify reason and validity of loss through a physical search of the warehouse. Determine required inventory adjustment and input data into WMS to provide accurate information for planning and evaluation activities. Complete a thorough review of product activity in WMS, RDC SUS, the opco incident database, and the regional adjustments database to ensure accuracy of the net position.
+ Retrieve, research and put away stray product.
+ Pull, process, load and complete outbound returns, donations, recalls, salvages and any other outbound product shipments as required.
+ Research catch weights on questionable receiving identified by the Administration Department, report data to the Administration staff to provide accurate information.
+ Review Overage, Shortage and Damage Forms (OS&D Form) completed by receivers for completeness and accuracy. Approve OS&D Forms after verification of information for accuracy and completeness.
+ Retrieve shelf life, product lot, product expiration data listed on the Short Shelf Life Report and the Received with Less Than Required Shelf Life Report and communicates to as appropriate.
+ Work effectively with immediate supervisor and operations to minimize warehouse shrink (product loss).
+ Responsible for the neatness and cleanliness of assigned work area.
+ Report any safety issues to supervisor.
+ Observe and enforce all safety rules to eliminate accidents and injuries.
+ Operate appropriate material handling equipment (MHE), such as forklifts, stock pickers and pallet jacks in a safe and orderly manner to eliminate accidents and injuries.
+ Ensure that MHE is maintained (perform daily inspection) and clean, report repair or service needs to supervisor to minimize equipment damage and down time.
+ Use warehouse computers and RF equipment in a safe and professional manner.
+ Understand and comply with all applicable company policies (i.e. attendance, Code of Business Conduct & Ethics, Associate Handbook, etc.
+ Comply with all applicable State/Federal laws, regulations and policies (i.e. OSHA, HACCP, BRC, etc.).
