Job SummaryThe Human Resources Manager Production Support is a mid-level HR role focused on delivering day-to-day HR guidance and support to production teams at our Mesa, AZ and Greenville, NC facilities. This role serves as a key partner to production managers and frontline leaders, with a strong focus on hourly workforce needs, employee relations, and consistent presence on the production floor. While this role collaborates with upper management and the broader HR organization, its primary responsibility is to support a high-performing, safe, and engaged production workforce. This role helps align business objectives with employee needs while ensuring compliance with HR policies and employment law. The HR Manager helps foster a culture of accountability, empowerment, and operational excellence.
Essential Functions- Serve as the primary HR partner for production managers, frontline leaders, and hourly employees across the Mesa, AZ and Greenville, NC sites.
- Maintain regular visibility on the production floor to build trust, ensure strong communication, and proactively address workforce issues.
- Support employee relations efforts by advising on conflict resolution, disciplinary action, attendance, and other policy-related matters.
- Guide and coach frontline leadership on effective people management practices, including performance management, development planning, and employee engagement.
- Collaborate with site leadership on workforce planning, staffing needs, and succession planning for hourly roles.
- Monitor and analyze key workforce metrics (e.g., turnover, absenteeism, engagement) to inform HR strategies and improve site performance.
- Partner with the HR team and site managers to support organizational design and change initiatives at the operational level.
- Lead or support hourly employee talent reviews and development conversations.
- Ensure consistent administration of HR policies and adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Oversee hourly recruiting processes in partnership with the site-level HR Generalist and corporate recruiting team; directly manage salaried recruiting needs at the site level.
- Participate in investigations, exit interviews, and other employee experience touchpoints.
- Drive HR programs that reinforce a strong production culture focused on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as required by the business or HR function.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- 57 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong working knowledge of employee relations, employment law, and HR best practices.
- Ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization, especially with hourly employees and frontline leaders.
- Comfortable working independently in a multi-site environment and spending consistent time on the production floor.
- Demonstrated experience handling sensitive HR matters with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a hands-on, approachable leadership style.
- Ability to travel periodically as needed.

- Comfortable leading cross-functional discussions and promoting open, two-way communication between HR and leadership.
- Skilled in coaching and supporting both managers and employees through training, feedback, and everyday interactions.

Essential Job Functions
- Greets team members, answers telephone, and assists team members with various HR related issues.
- Responsible for full cycle recruiting of multiple positions across 8 States.
- Manage Applicant Tracking System.
- Works with management on background processing, and onboarding process for new hires.
- Completes E-Verify for all new hires.
- Prepares and/or audits team member forms to be processed and filed.
- Creates updates and maintains employment and other employment required files.
- Tracks and files acknowledgment forms, performance reviews, training, and/or certificate completion documents and other related HR paperwork.
- Schedules and conducts new hire orientation.
- Assists in gathering information and drafts correspondence in response to unemployment claims.
- Conducts various audits of HR required paperwork and files.
- Communicates and participates in company programs.
- Experience using multiple computer systems or programs (i.e., Microsoft Office, Phone Dialer)
- Strong communication skills
- Completes all required Company training/compliance courses as assigned.
- Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in Customer Service field.
