What is a Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT) A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) works under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to help individuals with autism improve key daily living and communication skills, promoting greater independence. RBTs apply strategies such as prompting and positive reinforcement to encourage skill development and behavioral progress. Responsibilities: Deliver ABA interventions to clients in home, school, or community settings Collect, analyze, and prepare data for reports and presentations Collaborate with other staff members to ensure consistent program delivery Provide feedback to parents and guardians on clients' daily activities Qualifications: Experience working with children or adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Required) Strong communication skills with BCBA’s, supervisors, and families Pass a criminal background check Eagerness to learn and accept performance feedback Willingness to follow instructions and ask questions Passion for working with individuals facing developmental and social challenges Why Join Our Team? Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring a Behavior Technician to work with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays or behavioral health challenges, one on one in their homes.

Responsibilities:
+ Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors
+ Document child progress and milestones
+ Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts
Qualifications:
+ Passion for working with children with special needs
+ Strong communication skills
+ High School diploma or equivalent required
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
+ Completion of college coursework in one of the following programs: psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or a minimum of one year experience working with children in the following capacities: Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician required
