Job Summary and Qualifications

Endoscopy RN demonstrates time management skills, independent critical thinking, nursing assessments and technical skills required to care for the specific patient population of the unit. This includes admission, phase II recovery, and discharge of patients as well as assisting physician with any procedure performed within the unit. All RNs must be proficient in IV insertion (with exception of pre-admission nurses).


What qualifications you will need:
  • Active NH Registered Nurse license or compact Registered Nurse license
  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • 1-3 years of related experience
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Job Summary and Qualifications
  • Performs a thorough assessment in accordance with unit standards and or patient condition, and based on this assessment, plans and implements care appropriately.
  • Provides monitoring/assessment of the patient receiving conscious sedation in accordance with policy.
  • Performs circulating duties according to procedure, demonstrating skill and efficiency, displaying the surgical consciousness required within this highly specialized environment.
  • Performs scrub duties according to surgical protocol.
  • Demonstrates ability to properly utilize all equipment for specific procedures or seeks appropriate resource.
  • Assumes responsibility for knowledge of surgical procedures and associated nursing care. Seeks appropriate resource when necessary.
  • Provides communication/visits peri-operatively to the patient’s family and or significant other.
  • Demonstrates self-direction above and beyond daily assignments and actively offers assistance to colleagues both within the main OR’s, cardiac OR’s and various other surgical services units.
  • Demonstrates ability to accurately and thoroughly complete peri-operative nursing record documentation, i.e. surgical site confirmation, patient identification verification.
  • Demonstrates collegially behavior of respect and consideration with regard to work environment, i.e. restocking rooms, returning equipment/supplies for other surgical procedures, cleanils
What qualifications you will need:
  • Registered Nurse NH license or compact Registered Nurse license
  • 1 to 3 years of experience, previous critical care experience preferred (ED, ICU-1-2 years)
  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will provide the best possible cardiac perioperative care to each patient based upon their individual needs. This Level 2 hospital is known for providing high quality patient care here in the beautiful Seacoast of New Hampshire. What will you do in this role:

  • Completes pre-operative assessments and interprets data to formalize an individual plan of care for surgical patients. Evaluates the patient's plan of care to insure positive patient outcomes.
  • Demonstrates competency in circulating cases as it relates to unit scope of care including planning and efficiently providing equipment and supplies based upon physician/patient needs.
  • Administers medications and solutions in the O.R. including monitoring the physiological status of patients receiving IV conscious sedation during surgery.
  • Provides a safe environment for the surgical patient during their perioperative experience.
  • Promotes cost containment while delivering quality patient care within the operating room.
  • Participates in department on-call assignments and demonstrates flexibility to cover staffing as needed. 

What qualifications you will need:

  • Associates Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred. 
  • Registered Nurse (RN) License in NH or valid Compact State License
  • 1 to 3 years of related experience
  • BLS (American Heart Association BLS Provider or American Red Cross BLS) within 30 days of hire
  • ACLS (American Heart Association ACLS Provider or American Red Cross ACLS) within 60 days of hire
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred but not required
  • Minimum one year of CVOR RN experienced preferred.
