Scheduled Work Hours :
•This temporary position will work a variety of shifts including: days, nights, weekends and holidays, and often with short notice. Regular scheduled hours are Not Guaranteed.
Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
•Perform high angle and confined space rescues.
•Provide care for the acutely ill or injured employee as first on the scene.
•Perform periodic inspections and inventory on medical equipment/supplies, rescue and fire extinguishing equipment.
•Perform safety related functions as assigned.
•Chosen candidates will be offered the option to become instructors for CPR/AED/First Aid and Incipient Fire Training.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Required :
•Training as a Kansas Emergency Medical Responder or higher
•High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required :
•This person must be able to function as a cohesive team member and be able to accurately and quickly function during stressful situations.
Licenses/Certifications :
•Possess current Kansas certification as an Emergency Medical Responder or higher.
•Possess a valid Kansas Driver's License.
Working Conditions :
•This position requires you to work inside and outside of the plant during all types of climates.
•This position requires work at great heights and in very confined spaces.
•The employee must be medically qualified to wear a supplied air respirator.
•Occasional travel is required.

This will include providing technical and analytical assistance to assess weapon system capabilities and translating system requirements into resource evaluation and documentation products.
**Responsibilities**
+ The **Combat Rescue Helicopter Maintenance Support** provides technical and analytical support to track and analyze trends, user requirements, and other key issues and assist in development of critical documentation to support system resource requirements.
+ Provide technical and analytical support to assess capability requirements, associated capability gaps and risks, and facilitate fielding of capability solutions.
+ Identify, develop and document operational requirements and conduct study planning and execution in support of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Documentation System (JCIDS), such as Capabilities Based Assessments (CBAs), Analyses of Alternatives (AoAs), Initial Capability Documents (ICDs), Capability Design Documents (CDDs), Capability Production Documents (CPDs), DOTMLPF-P Change Requests (DCRs) and other related activities.
+ Develop Rapid Prototyping Requirements Documents, Rapid Fielding Requirements Documents, Capabilities Needs Statements and other rapid acquisition products in line with evolving Headquarters Air Force (HAF)/A5R policy and guidance/guidebooks and support Solutions Pathway Reviews.
+ Provide subject matter expertise to analysis of Joint Urgent Operational Need and Urgent Operational need requirements.
+ Participate in associated Air Combat Command, Headquarters Air Force, Joint Staff Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC) and Office of Secretary of Defense requirements and acquisition forums, as a technical and subject matter expert to provide expert analytical support.
+ Provide analytical support to ACC Corporate Requirements Review Board for JCIDS, rapid requirements and Joint Urgent Operational Need and Urgent Operational Need decision and review forums.

+ Production Superintendent flight line experience on rescue helicopter aircraft
+ Five (5) years' project or program management experience
+ Three (3) years' MAJCOM or above staff experience

+ Core hours are from 0800-1700 M-F - you can work with your customer leadership to set hours
+ You can flex time during the 2 week pay cycle - avoid using PTO for appointments

New York City Emergency Management (NYCEM) helps New Yorkers before, during, and after emergencies through preparedness, education, and response. NYCEM is responsible for coordinating citywide emergency planning and response for all types and scales of emergencies. We are staffed by more than 200 professionals with diverse backgrounds, including individuals from other City agencies.
The Logistics Bureau includes units such as Urban Search & Rescue, Humanitarian Logistics, Ground Support Logistics, Logistics Planning and Coordination, and Mutual Aid and Resource Processing. In normal times, the Bureau enhances the Citys emergency response capabilities through logistics planning; during emergencies, it manages resources and coordinates mutual aid requests.
Urban Search & Rescue (US&R) locates, extricates, and provides medical aid to victims trapped in structural collapses and catastrophes. The National US&R System comprises 28 task forces nationwide, with NYCEM sponsoring one: New York Task Force One.
NYCEM seeks a qualified individual with experience in warehouse/equipment management, logistics, emergency management, transportation, or related fields to support NY-TF1.
The US&R Response System organizes federal, state, and local teams for disaster response. NY-TF1 includes members from FDNY, NYPD, EMS, and NYC Emergency Management. Under supervision, the Logistics Specialist will coordinate logistics goals and objectives for the team.
The candidate will:
- Have a valid Class A commercial drivers license or permit with specific endorsements; obtaining a Class A license within 1 year is required.
- Manage procurement, servicing, and delivery of equipment and supplies.
- Track documentation related to logistics activities.
- Oversee fleet maintenance, including vehicle reports and preventive maintenance.
- Operate large vehicles, including tractor/trailers (CDL-A preferred).
- Maintain equipment inventory databases and inventories, including uniforms.
- Monitor building access and perform basic equipment maintenance.
- Be physically capable of strenuous labor and problem-solving in high-pressure situations.
- Support logistical and administrative projects, training, exercises, and deployments.
Please note: This position requires in-person work at the NYCEM Emergency Support Center and participation in on-call emergency teams, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred skills include: operating large vehicles, inventory management, vendor relations, multitasking, and proficiency with MS Office.
Candidates should demonstrate competencies in knowledge, work ethic, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.
Qualifications:

- Baccalaureate degree plus two years of relevant experience, or
