Under the general direction of the Department Finance Manager and CAO, the incumbent provides advanced contract and grant financial, administrative, and analytical support on all research projects including the various stages of identifying sources of research funding, preparing research grant applications, budget development, managing post award processes and supervision of research administrators. - Analytical skills to independently and tactfully assume responsibility for coordination and completion of complex financial analysis, customized reports, and projects requiring interactions with many individuals in a matrix organizational structure.
- Skills to work with minimal direction and to take the initiative to follow up on projects.
- Through knowledge of federal, state, and private grant budgeting, financial reporting, and policies regarding use of grant funds.
- Skills to manage multiple funds involving different accounting procedures including analysis, reconciliation, projection, fiscal closing, and grant preparation.
- Advanced knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and University accounting policies and procedures. Knowledge of cost allocation methods. Demonstrated advanced competence in the use of spreadsheet and database software in financial analysis, fiscal management, and financial reports.
- Knowledge and experience in budget preparation, analysis and forecasting with ability to control complex budgets and recognize potential problems.
- Skills to analyze financial data and computer reports in order to draw meaningful conclusions.
- Skills to solve problems quickly and expedite jobs to accommodate research needs, work with changing priorities and demanding workload and to use independent judgment to make logical decisions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, use independent and mature judgment, work independently without supervision and commit to excellence.

**Job Summary**
We are looking for a Research Technician II to join our Insourcing Solutions team located in Dixon, CA.
As the Research Technician II, you will join our high-throughput Animal Reproductive Technology Animal Care (ART-AC) team in Dixon, CA. The successful candidate will work closely with the ART-AC team to support custom mouse model creation, cryopreservation, rederivation, cross by microinjection and IVF, etc. Responsibilities include husbandry and other duties including lab support and work as assigned.
Additional responsibilities include:
+ Perform rodent husbandry duties, such as room sanitation, cage change, daily health checks, post-operative monitoring, breeder setup and takedown, tail biopsy for genotyping, cross-fostering, wean, etc. and specialized tasks such as hormone administration via intraperitoneal injection, estrus check, plug check, colony and room transfer, pseudopregnant and stud male colony management, stud male vasectomies and sterility testing, and other support tasks for the ART (Animal Reproductive Technology) and microinjection labs.
+ Exhibit professional and collegial behavior, communication skills, and expected to participate in discussions at unit meetings.
+ Serve as a mentor to less experienced staff, including periodic review of data processes and reports to the lab manager.
+ Review, comprehend and comply with all SOPs, guidelines/policies, and quality assurance standards pertaining to assigned responsibilities, and to the care and use of laboratory mice for research under the delegation and/or supervision of the ART (Animal Reproductive Technology) Lab manager.
+ Perform all other duties as assigned.
**Job Qualifications**
Education/Experience:
+ Master of Science (MS) degree in Animal Science or a related discipline and zero (0) to six (6) months' experience in animal research and/or husbandry; multi species preferred;
OR
+ Associate of Science (AS) degree in Animal Science or a related discipline and three (3) years' experience in animal research and/or husbandry; multi species experience preferred;
OR
+ Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Animal Science or a related discipline, and one (1) to three (3) years' experience in animal research and/or husbandry; multi species experience preferred;
OR
+ High School diploma/GED and a minimum of five (5) years' experience in animal research and/or husbandry; multi species experience preferred.
+ AALAS (American Association for Laboratory Animal Science) certification at the Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician (ALAT) level is _preferred_ .
+ Must be proficient in mouse handling, sexing, and health assessment. Demonstrated experience with mouse reproductive technology and techniques required. Must have hands-on experience with daily operations such as hormone administration via intraperitoneal injection, estrus check, plug check, oviduct harvest/oocyte collection, colony and barrier room transfer.
+ Required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by the lab schedules.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Demonstrated high level of attention to detail, responsiveness, adaptability and reliability needed. Proven ability to successfully work independently and collaboratively as a team. Excellent organizational and time management skills necessary. Must have experience with computers, mobile platforms, and accurate data management systems in a professional environment.
The pay for this position is$38.00 - 40.50 USD per hour?Schedule: The required work hours are 5 days a week, Monday - Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm with one weekend and one evening shift required per week. The position is 100% onsite and the candidates must be available and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

We are looking for a Data Scientist, Operations Research Analyst to join our Decision Science Solutions (DS2) team. Our mission is to improve our pharmaceutical supply chain's performance to better service our pharmacy customers, so that they can focus on their patients. The DS2 team consists of Supply Chain Data Scientists, Operations Research Analysts, Data Analysts, and Data Engineers. We work cross-functionally to solve problems leveraging a variety of skillsets and perspectives to achieve the best outcomes. Visiting Researcher, Reality Labs Research Responsibilities:
1. Carry out cutting-edge research to advance the science and technology of machine learning systems
2. Perform research that enables learning the semantics of data (images, video, text, audio, and other modalities)
3. Devise better data-driven models of AI system design and optimization
4. Contribute research that leads to innovations in: scalable machine learning systems, resource-efficient AI data and algorithm scaling and neural network architectures, memory and energy-efficient AI systems, environmentally-sustainable AI system and hardware designs
5. Collaborate with researchers and cross-functional partners including communicating research plans, progress, and results
6. Publish research results and contribute to research that impacts Meta product development
**Minimum Qualifications:**

7. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
8. Ph.D. and publications in Machine Learning, AI, computer science, statistics, systems, data science, or related technical fields
9. Experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
10. Experience manipulating and analyzing data from different sources
11. Experience in theoretical and empirical research and for answering questions with research
12. Knowledge in some programming language
