Day to Day Responsibilities
· Lead proposal/business capture teams to shape, write and review proposals
· Interface with customers, including travel, to shape marketing efforts and effectively communicate technical results
· Investigate fundamental topics in a scientific field such as signal processing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, physics and/or math
· Lead teams of two or more Scientists, Engineers, and Programmers, including identifying, assigning, and completing research and development tasks appropriate to each member of the team
· Provide strategic leadership role in working with a project / proposal team to identify the research approach, hypotheses to be tested, and program milestones to achieve all program objectives
· Facilitate collaboration in large, complex teams to ensure resulting technology (algorithms, software, frameworks) achieves all research objectives
· Select, improve, or design computational models
· Identify relevant research approaches, hypotheses to be tested, and program milestones to achieve all program objectives with project and/or proposal teams
· Provide scientific, technical and software design support to projects and proposals
· Design statistically valid experiments to test and validate resulting computational models
· Provide leadership and guidance in the analysis of results of the experiments using sound scientific principles
· Design experiments to test and validate computational models
· Establish and maintain a professional rapport with all project stakeholders (internal and external)
· Additional project and proposal duties as assigned
- Occasional travel to attend and present at customer meetings and essential industry conferences
- Prepare technical briefing materials/summarize technical work and progress of projects
- Collaborate with company leadership and senior technical staff to conduct proposal research and proposal writing
- Publish technical reports based on original or improved algorithms created to solve the application challenges

· Master’s degree in cognitive sciences, engineering, mathematics, physics, or related field, with 13+ years of experience; PhD with 10+ years of experience

- Radar signal processing techniques
- Machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, Tensorflow, PyTorch, Keras) and concepts (e.g., supervised, unsupervised, active, and reinforcement learning; neural networks; generative, discriminative models)

Must bachelors degree, 7-10 years of clinical research experience and experience with lupus.
As a subject matter expert, the Clinical Research scientist (CRS) partners with the Medical Director to provide scientific, clinical, strategic, and operational input to an early or late-stage clinical development program. The CRS contributes to data interpretation, study designs, regulatory documents, and publications as well as providing scientific input into pipeline programs. The CRS closely collaborates with other internal functions as well as external partners, such as contract research organizations and medical experts.
Within the frame of the clinical development of new medicines, the Clinical Research Scientist is responsible for
Managing assigned activities within clinical study independently
providing clinical/scientific input and gathering necessary information from other areas to Clinical Development Plans for one or more molecules or indications
Work in close partnership with CROs and other vendors in clinical and medical data review and participating in operational excellence of the execution of the project in collaboration with GCO
Work on the design of Clinical trial concepts, study protocols, assessment schedules, patient information material as well as final clinical study reports
Work on the relevant sections of the common technical document dossier
Help to design and structure the content of relevant Advisory Board Meetings
Writes scientific rationale for clinical trial protocols, including most recent literature citations
Drives creation and annual update of IB liaising with Toxicology, Pharmacology, Safety, Regulatory and Medical & Communication Experts
Works closely with Medical Communications to ensure all relevant documentation is updated with new medical information, including assuming responsibility for the incorporation of additional information into the Investigator Brochure.

General Summary
The Senior Research Scientist will develop new laser and other energy-based devices for dermatological and aesthetic applications, driving projects from concept development through technical feasibility studies, and working prototypes. This role is responsible for the design, construction, and testing of research prototype systems—including solid-state lasers, dye lasers, and other energy-delivery platforms. - Design, demonstration and analysis of the performance of Proof-of-Concept lasers and other energy based systems.
- Development and/or characterization of critical laser/topical components.

- Preparation of documentation both for internal R&D use and for transfer of products to engineering.
- Generation and documentation of new IP.

- Hands on experience in experimental techniques in optics and laser technology studying tissue effects, electronics, and instrumentation.
- Experience developing medical devices is preferred.
