You will be part of a team that is a key resource for the development of new insecticidal products at BASF. The team’s task is to thoroughly characterize new insecticidal products in all relevant agronomic aspects and to manage the lab-to-field transition for new actives in our research pipeline.
As a member of this team, you will efficiently plan and execute trial programs in a lab, greenhouse and field trial environment. Compounds evaluated in this program range from early research compounds up to registered market products.
As a Research Scientist/Entomologist - Research Triangle Park, NC, you create chemistry by.
It will be your task to carry out trial work programs independently, from planning of the trial set-up, through execution of the trial work, to a thorough evaluation and reporting of the results. The execution of the trials involves the use of plants and living insects as well as the proper handling of chemicals, including research compounds of unknown toxicity. You will contribute to the team’s success by developing new methodologies and incorporating new technologies into the team’s repertoire.
More specifically, you will be the team’s key resource in the area of field trial execution. You will contribute to the team by supporting/conducting research studies assigned to the team, which comprises application of research compounds with the appropriate PPE, infestation, and assessment of trials conducted under laboratory, greenhouse, and field conditions. You will be expected to allot more than 50% of your work hours under the outdoor field conditions during the field trial season.
As Research Scientist/Entomologist, you will communicate efficiently within the team and potentially with colleagues in other functions of our organization. You will analyze the results of your work and provide meaningful recommendations for future activities in the specific projects.

• BS or higher-level degree in Biology or Agricultural Sciences or related. MS degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in insecticide research and entomology.
• Proficiency in data analysis and report writing is essential.
• Flexible scheduling, with occasional weekend or holiday work.
• You will need to be willing to work with compounds of unknown toxicity in a lab, greenhouse and field environment.

A Nationally Certified Comprehensive Cancer institute is seeking a Research Pharmacy Technician in the Investigational Drug Services (IDS) Pharmacy Department. THE ROLE
The Market Research Strategist leads the development and application of primary, secondary and strategic market research globally. Partnering with the Senior Manager, he or she actively participates in developing, analyzing and presenting research insights to aid in the understanding of market opportunities, competitive positioning, industry trends, and marketing/sales strategy execution across all channels and markets.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Collaborates with internal business partners, including senior leadership, to clearly identify and articulate the business issues and recommends quantitative, qualitative and secondary research methodologies to achieve desired objectives. Provides input towards and implements the market research functional strategy.

• Develops RFPs, evaluates third-party research proposals to identify appropriate solutions within budget/resource constraints, and manages third party vendors throughout the project lifecycle.

• Executes all aspects of primary market research projects including questionnaire development, sample procurement, fieldwork, data tabulation/coding, analysis and reporting. Leads smaller research projects independently and seeks guidance for when necessary.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

• Minimum of 6-8+ years' experience in market research, marketing or other analytic roles, with at least 2 of those years working within investment management or financial services sectors.

• Project management experience with proven ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and meet competing deadlines.

Summary:

This position seeks a candidate with a willingness to take on new challenges, and possessing excellent organizational and critical thinking skills. Reporting to the Research Project Manager for Dr. Kimberley Geissler, the Senior Research Coordinator (SRC) will assist with conducting health services research in a large academic medical center related primarily to pediatric and mental health care. The SRC will assist Dr. Geissler's team as they conduct research, publish results, and apply for grant funding. Duties may include: chart/graph creation; data entry; basic data analysis; literature reviews; compiling and submitting Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications including Single IRB application; helping to draft and submit manuscripts and conference submissions; assisting in different facets of the grant application process including formatting and editing of grant, assisting with creation of budgets, and compiling of applications/paperwork in preparation for submission. This position also carries some administrative duties including: meeting coordination and other administrative tasks as needed throughout the course of employment.

Of note, this position does not involve significant patient contact; rather, it focuses primarily on quantitative health services research.

Job Responsibilities:

1) Assist with coordination of all phases and operational tasks of assigned research projects, e.g. recruitment/screening/follow-up activities; intervention design and implementation activities; and data collection and management activities.

2) Assist with monitoring grant expenditures, including subcontractors, work, collaborate and negotiate with subcontractors in the coordination of off-site operations, create budget projections.

What You’ll Do As a User Research Lead on the Global Supplier Technology team, you will be empowered to plan and run research projects end-to-end, including defining clear problem statements, framing project goals and ingoing research assumptions and questions, scoping and selecting the appropriate methods and tools, supporting in recruitment, running/facilitating research activities, analyzing and synthesizing data, sharing and socializing findings, etc. Ultimately, you will influence and persuade cross-functional leaders and more senior partners to act on your findings. What’s Required Professional experience - approx. 6+ years of professional experience Mixed methods research experience - you will scope and execute on qualitative and/or quantitative research plans, selecting the appropriate methodology to answer key product and research questions Recruitment experience - you will work closely with Research Operations to define & handle UXR study recruitment needs, logistics, scheduling, and incentives Analysis and storytelling skills - you will need to clearly synthesize and present UXR insights to key stakeholders with actionable takeaways Collaboration skills - you will collaborate across functions such as Product Design, Content Strategy, Product Management, Analytics, Engineering and more Proficiency in research and design tools - such as Qualtrics, Userzoom/Usertesting, Optimal Workshop, Reduct, Full Story, Resonate, Figma and Miro. Product centric mindset – your research will be focused on the digital CX and helping product and design to discover and deliver on new opportunities Design thinking experience - you will likely run and participate in ideation sessions and design sprints.
