Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for managing members of the Public Planning team and participating in advanced, professional planning and design activities. Candidate must have experience in project management, business development, team building, and project profitability for Public Sector City Planning and Design projects. Requires strong leadership and communication skills with team members, clients, and governmental agencies.

General Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of public planning professionals responsible for producing community planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic & technical production.
  • Advise various councils, boards, commissions, and elected/appointed officials on planning and design-related issues.
  • Serve as liaison and perform necessary functions in support of public client planning and development departments.
  • Evaluate and prepare reports on operations & activities, recommend improvements and modifications.
  • Participate in budget preparation and administration.
  • Create, administer, and supervise public outreach campaigns for planning and design efforts.
  • Develop business by marketing company to existing clients and identifying and marketing to new clients.
  • Support technical efforts for business development such as preparation of responses to RFPs and RFQs, preparation for presentations, and interfacing/coordinating the efforts of the Placemaking and Resilience Group.
  • Develop and assist in preparation of scope, budget, and schedule.
Required Education and Certification:
  • Bachelor's Degree in City Planning, Public Affairs, Public Administration, or other related fields.
  • Masters Degree preferred.
  • AICP Certification or ability to acquire.
Required Experience:
  • 5-10 years' of progressively responsible experience in municipal planning and design.
  • 3+ years' experience as a practice leader and manager with direct reports

**The Opportunity**
Black & Veatch has an exciting opportunity for a? **Resilience Services Growth Director** focused on infrastructure resilience, mitigation, preparedness, response and long-term recovery from disasters. The director will drive business development for large scale opportunities adn collaborate on strategy, in addition to providing techinical expertise and guidance to clients, projects, and teams. The role will also support our regional leaders as a seamless national team of experts that will fuel the continued growth and success of our resilience practice.
With a focus on developing BV's presence in the resilience market, this adviser will consult with our regional resilience planning, facility, and coastal teams. They will bring a strong network of Federal, state, and regional-level clients who are procuring resilience and recovery solutions, and they will identify a portfolio of target opportunities that aggregate solutions from across BV, with a dedicated focus on integrated & resilient infrastructure solutions. They will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to help guide the development of solutions and new business, for a variety of municipal, utility, stae and governmental clients, leveraging familiarity with state and local programs as well as FEMA, USACE, HUD CDBG, FERC, DOE and other Federal agencies. They will work directly with both new and existing clients and will help inform capability development through identification of key gaps, leveraging a network of partners to address those gaps.

Within our U.S. Business, we have seen consistent growth driven by our clients' needs to address challenges/risks stemming from climate change, increasing system vulnerabilities, coastal impacts and sea level rise, aging infrastructure, resource optimization, emergency response, carbon sequestration, risk mitigation and recovery. ?Over the last few years, we have made significant investment hires in the Resilience space - from disaster assessment & response and recovery funding to multi-disciplinary (green and grey) adaptation planning, permitting, design, and construction expertise. We anticipate increased focus on coastal protection and infrastructure hardening, systems thinking and planning, sustainable and resilient strategies, and nature-based solutions. ?This role represents a strategic business initiative for Black & Veatch, and the position is designed to help the company grow its market share by providing world-class resilience services?
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Advance business development and strategy implementation with a diverse network across BV including Regional Resilience Teams, Segment Leaders, Client and Project Directors/Project Managers and Solution Leads from Planning, Environmental, Federal, Heavy Civil infrastructure, and Alternative Funding?
+ Serve as a Resilience Advisor to our regional based Resilience teams across the US
+ Provide thought leadership, engage with the external community, and serve as a National Resilience Planning subject matter expert, bringing expertise with funding, economics, disaster recovery, and resilient infrastructure ?

**Preferred Qualifications**

**The Opportunity**
Black & Veatch has an exciting opportunity for a? **Resilience Services Growth Director** focused on infrastructure resilience, mitigation, preparedness, response and long-term recovery from disasters. The director will drive business development for large scale opportunities adn collaborate on strategy, in addition to providing techinical expertise and guidance to clients, projects, and teams. The role will also support our regional leaders as a seamless national team of experts that will fuel the continued growth and success of our resilience practice.
With a focus on developing BV's presence in the resilience market, this adviser will consult with our regional resilience planning, facility, and coastal teams. They will bring a strong network of Federal, state, and regional-level clients who are procuring resilience and recovery solutions, and they will identify a portfolio of target opportunities that aggregate solutions from across BV, with a dedicated focus on integrated & resilient infrastructure solutions. They will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to help guide the development of solutions and new business, for a variety of municipal, utility, stae and governmental clients, leveraging familiarity with state and local programs as well as FEMA, USACE, HUD CDBG, FERC, DOE and other Federal agencies. They will work directly with both new and existing clients and will help inform capability development through identification of key gaps, leveraging a network of partners to address those gaps.
**The Team**
Within our U.S. Business, we have seen consistent growth driven by our clients' needs to address challenges/risks stemming from climate change, increasing system vulnerabilities, coastal impacts and sea level rise, aging infrastructure, resource optimization, emergency response, carbon sequestration, risk mitigation and recovery. ?Over the last few years, we have made significant investment hires in the Resilience space - from disaster assessment & response and recovery funding to multi-disciplinary (green and grey) adaptation planning, permitting, design, and construction expertise. We anticipate increased focus on coastal protection and infrastructure hardening, systems thinking and planning, sustainable and resilient strategies, and nature-based solutions. ?This role represents a strategic business initiative for Black & Veatch, and the position is designed to help the company grow its market share by providing world-class resilience services?
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Advance business development and strategy implementation with a diverse network across BV including Regional Resilience Teams, Segment Leaders, Client and Project Directors/Project Managers and Solution Leads from Planning, Environmental, Federal, Heavy Civil infrastructure, and Alternative Funding?
+ Serve as a Resilience Advisor to our regional based Resilience teams across the US
+ Provide thought leadership, engage with the external community, and serve as a National Resilience Planning subject matter expert, bringing expertise with funding, economics, disaster recovery, and resilient infrastructure ?
+ Provide support to the team as it relates to USACE coordination/integration with local government coastal flood protection objectives
+ Facilitate and orchestrate client and stakeholder workshops?
+ Engage with and help guide the development of Resilience Planning solutions/ studies/ projects?
+ Advocate for industry interest and acceptance of innovative Netherlands water management strategies including community engagement charettes to inform acceptable adaptation strategies
+ Support recruitment, mentorship, and growth of the team to broaden resilience-related capabilities?
+ Cultivate innovative partnerships to leverage new technologies and approaches and help identify any gaps we may have in our capabilities and be part of a team to help fill those gaps. ?
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, science, economics or relevant field from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing
+ Minimum 20 years of related work experience with 20+ years of experience related to resilience, disaster preparedness & recovery, coastal and sea level rise impacts.
+ Experience in a client organization and/or client-facing role?
+ Demonstrated acumen in business development and overall initiative leadership?
+ Experience with Federal approaches and tools to assess risks and provide hazard mitigation, climate adaptation, disaster recovery, and resilience strategic planning and implementation?

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or higher in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Must be fully licensed by the State Board to provide therapy independently and without supervision (eg, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LCPC, LCSW-C, LISW, or LP).

Pay: $70-$92 per hour. Pay rates are based on the provider license type, session location, and session types.

Clinic Job Description:
As an Outpatient Therapist at Ellie Mental Health, you'll share our vision for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care and thrive in an environment driven by our core values of authenticity, humor, compassion, creativity, acceptance, and determination.

Ellie Mental Health was founded in 2015 by Erin Pash, LMFT and Kyle Keller, LICSW when they opened the first Ellie clinic in Minneapolis. Since then, the Ellie Fam has continued to grow with multiple clinics in Minnesota and a growing number of locally owned and operated franchises across the country.

Ellie was proudly founded on the principle of destigmatizing mental health. The mental health industry is full of barriers, and we've made it our goal to fill the gap and find innovative ways to break down these barriers for the communities we serve.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create and implement a treatment plan, and complete ongoing documentation, including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy.
  • For Full-Time status, clinicians will maintain a caseload of at least 27 client visits per week
  • Utilize creativity and innovative thinking in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and training (compensated)
  • Other stuff we probably forgot to add but just as meaningful and essential to your role ;)
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Candidates must hold an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW license issued by Texas and be in good standing.
  • Required experience with completing treatment plans, and clinical case notes
  • Preferred experience with children, adolescents, and teens. Experience with the geriatric population is a plus for LCSWs.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services on time
  • Comfort and familiarity with working with a diverse client base
  • Proficient in the use of typical office technology (computers, e-mail, etc.) and Electronic Health Record systems
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Required that candidates be fully licensed mental health professionals with a valid state of TX License.
  • Ideal candidates will have a general knowledge of therapy services and community resources and will be willing to do some light community outreach.
Full-time Benefits (for 27+ hours per week): Health insurance (paid 50%), Dental and Vision policy, PTO, Paid Holidays, Paid CEUs, Paid Mandatory Administrative meetings, iPad provided
  • You will receive the following paid holidays, at 8 hours each: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
  • You will receive 18 hours of paid CEUs per year.
  • You are eligible for enrollment in Health, Dental & Vision insurance 30 days after your first day of employment. Benefits effective the 1st of the month following the 30 day waiting period.


*It could take 60 to 90 days to reach a full-time caseload (based on credentialing), and marketing/Admin may be required before that.
