Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for managing members of the Public Planning team and participating in advanced, professional planning and design activities. Candidate must have experience in project management, business development, team building, and project profitability for Public Sector City Planning and Design projects. Requires strong leadership and communication skills with team members, clients, and governmental agencies.

General Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of public planning professionals responsible for producing community planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic & technical production.
  • Advise various councils, boards, commissions, and elected/appointed officials on planning and design-related issues.
  • Serve as liaison and perform necessary functions in support of public client planning and development departments.
  • Evaluate and prepare reports on operations & activities, recommend improvements and modifications.
  • Participate in budget preparation and administration.
  • Create, administer, and supervise public outreach campaigns for planning and design efforts.
  • Develop business by marketing company to existing clients and identifying and marketing to new clients.
  • Support technical efforts for business development such as preparation of responses to RFPs and RFQs, preparation for presentations, and interfacing/coordinating the efforts of the Placemaking and Resilience Group.
  • Develop and assist in preparation of scope, budget, and schedule.
Required Education and Certification:
  • Bachelor's Degree in City Planning, Public Affairs, Public Administration, or other related fields.
  • Masters Degree preferred.
  • AICP Certification or ability to acquire.
Required Experience:
  • 5-10 years' of progressively responsible experience in municipal planning and design.
  • 3+ years' experience as a practice leader and manager with direct reports
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Creative and innovative design skills
  • Reading comprehension skills to understand complex technical and legal materials
  • Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative, and ArcGIS Pro software; social media and website design and development

Work you'll do
As a Senior Consultant, you will be at the front lines with our clients supporting them with their Cyber Defense and Resilience needs specifically helping them address Cloud Security concerns and navigate the journey to the Cloud on the Microsoft Sentinel Platform. This will include:
+ Experience in architecting, designing, and implementing the deployment of Cloud Services (Azure, AWS, GCP), Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Endpoint/EDR, and XDR solutions to enhance clients' security posture.
+ Experience in forming KQL queries and functions for complex detection and monitoring requirements.
+ Expertise in building custom analytical rules, tuning of analytical rules, building automation through Azure logic apps, management of entire product feature, end to end configuration.
+ Ability to create clear and concise reports on security data and threats, including data visualization techniques.
+ Must have strong knowledge in MITRE attack framework and expertise in developing analytical rules and custom dashboards/workbooks across framework.
+ Assisting clients with migrating from existing SIEM solution (other platforms) to Microsoft Sentinel.
+ Expertise in log management, retentions, maintenance of logs at low cost, performing access management, developing new custom dashboard based on different requirements.
+ Must have proven record of implementing Sentinel advanced features, efficient log collection mechanisms, deployment and maintenance of log forwarders, and maintenance of local agents.
+ Expertise in integrating data sources which are not supported by Sentinel tool OOB. Custom parser development and ability to solve technical issues in Sentinel must have requirements. Experience with third-party data brokering service is a plus.
+ Experience with threat intelligence integration and UEBA (User and Entity Behavior Analytics) .
+ Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Terraform) for security operations
+ Provide end-to-end event analysis, incident detection, and manage escalations using documented procedures.
+ Develop, implement and refine automation playbooks in Microsoft Sentinel.
+ Devise and document new procedures and runbooks/playbooks as directed.
+ Create cyber and threat hunting queries to enable the Intelligence team to conduct advanced investigations when required.
+ Continuously improve the service by identifying and correcting issues or gaps in knowledge (analysis procedures, plays, client network models), false positive tuning, identifying and recommending new or updated tools, content, countermeasures, scripts, plug-ins, etc.
+ Experience in leveraging Security Copilot, creating custom prompts and integrating with threat sources.
+ Experience in connecting native and third-party custom/SaaS applications with SIEM.
+ Understanding of basic networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP
+ Understanding of possible attack activities such as network probing/scanning, DDOS, malicious code activity, etc.
+ Knowledge of Advanced Persistent Threats (APT) tactics, technics and procedures.
+ Acting as a subject matter expert on cyber risk for the Microsoft Sentinel, EDR & XDR platforms.
+ Preference will be given for candidates completed Sentinel Ninja Level 400 Training and Certification.
+ Good to have strong knowledge in Microsoft Sentinel pricing, Microsoft defender products, Microsoft Cloud services and Azure Arc.
+ Having knowledge and hands-on experience in Microsoft Defender XDR stack will be an added advantage.
+ Should have ability to prepare and maintain policy and procedure documentations around SIEM technology, document life cycle management skill is required.

With a focus on developing BV's presence in the resilience market, this adviser will consult with our regional resilience planning, facility, and coastal teams. They will bring a strong network of Federal, state, and regional-level clients who are procuring resilience and recovery solutions, and they will identify a portfolio of target opportunities that aggregate solutions from across BV, with a dedicated focus on integrated & resilient infrastructure solutions. **Key Responsibilities**
+ Advance business development and strategy implementation with a diverse network across BV including Regional Resilience Teams, Segment Leaders, Client and Project Directors/Project Managers and Solution Leads from Planning, Environmental, Federal, Heavy Civil infrastructure, and Alternative Funding?
+ Serve as a Resilience Advisor to our regional based Resilience teams across the US
+ Provide thought leadership, engage with the external community, and serve as a National Resilience Planning subject matter expert, bringing expertise with funding, economics, disaster recovery, and resilient infrastructure ?
+ Provide support to the team as it relates to USACE coordination/integration with local government coastal flood protection objectives

**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, science, economics or relevant field from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing
+ Minimum 20 years of related work experience with 20+ years of experience related to resilience, disaster preparedness & recovery, coastal and sea level rise impacts.
+ Experience in a client organization and/or client-facing role?
+ Demonstrated acumen in business development and overall initiative leadership?
+ Experience with Federal approaches and tools to assess risks and provide hazard mitigation, climate adaptation, disaster recovery, and resilience strategic planning and implementation?
+ Familiarity with federal, state, and local funding sources related to resilience

**Key Responsibilities**
+ Advance business development and strategy implementation with a diverse network across BV including Regional Resilience Teams, Segment Leaders, Client and Project Directors/Project Managers and Solution Leads from Planning, Environmental, Federal, Heavy Civil infrastructure, and Alternative Funding?
+ Serve as a Resilience Advisor to our regional based Resilience teams across the US
+ Provide thought leadership, engage with the external community, and serve as a National Resilience Planning subject matter expert, bringing expertise with funding, economics, disaster recovery, and resilient infrastructure ?
+ Provide support to the team as it relates to USACE coordination/integration with local government coastal flood protection objectives
+ Facilitate and orchestrate client and stakeholder workshops?
+ Engage with and help guide the development of Resilience Planning solutions/ studies/ projects?
+ Advocate for industry interest and acceptance of innovative Netherlands water management strategies including community engagement charettes to inform acceptable adaptation strategies
+ Support recruitment, mentorship, and growth of the team to broaden resilience-related capabilities?
+ Cultivate innovative partnerships to leverage new technologies and approaches and help identify any gaps we may have in our capabilities and be part of a team to help fill those gaps. ?
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, science, economics or relevant field from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing
+ Minimum 20 years of related work experience with 20+ years of experience related to resilience, disaster preparedness & recovery, coastal and sea level rise impacts.
+ Experience in a client organization and/or client-facing role?
+ Demonstrated acumen in business development and overall initiative leadership?
+ Experience with Federal approaches and tools to assess risks and provide hazard mitigation, climate adaptation, disaster recovery, and resilience strategic planning and implementation?
+ Familiarity with federal, state, and local funding sources related to resilience
**Minimum Qualifications**
