Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily retail operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, merchandising, and inventory control.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of retail associates, delegating tasks and ensuring adherence to company standards.
- Ensure high standards of customer service are met, resolving customer inquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Monitor sales performance, identify trends, and assist in implementing strategies to optimize sales and profitability.
- Manage product displays, ensure proper stocking levels, and maintain store cleanliness and organization.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and conducting periodic inventory counts.
- Enforce company policies and procedures, including safety, security, and loss prevention protocols.
- Schedule staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage and adherence to labor budgets.
- Conduct regular checks on store areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide regular feedback to the Store Manager on operational performance, staff issues, and customer trends.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Handle and process customer returns and exchanges in accordance with company policy.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment for all team members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or Retail Management preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in retail operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a grocery or large retail environment.
- Strong understanding of retail best practices, including merchandising and inventory management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer applications.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by retail schedules.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong customer service orientation.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$60,300.00 - $145,860.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
