Job Responsibility
+ Analyzes, implements, and maintains revenue cycle activities across sites and ensures goal setting and tracking. Makes recommendations for development and analysis of implementation plans for System development and implementation of Revenue Cycle Business Operations which may include discovery, design, conversion, testing, and/or any other components of the project plan cycle.
+ Serves as a liaison between business and technology teams.
+ Participates in developing and delivering training programs for current and prospective users. Educates practice, site and corporate management on Revenue Cycle Business Operations policies and procedures.
+ Assists implementation team in configuring HIPAA rules based on System policies and legal requirements.
+ Ensures processes are compliant with system policies, applicable laws and contractual bargaining agreements.
+ Develops procedures for system audits. Resolves discrepancies, as required.
+ Collaborates with implementation teams to resolve user issues.
+ Consults with departments to provide customer support during and post- implementation.
+ Troubleshoots issues and resolves concerns as well as recommends necessary fixes. Advises management of results and recommends actions. Consults with newly acquired facilities and designs transition and implementation plans.
+ Performs related duties as required.

Overview
Optimize room and catering revenue through the development and implementation of effective inventory management and pricing strategies. Monitor all distribution channels to ensure effective selling. Analyze reports to understand future demand forecast and past trends and translate this information to set/adjust strategies leading to increased market share.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Optimize RevPAR by analyzing/forecasting demand and establishing effective selling strategies, oversell strategies, and optimal market mix, including group, transient, wholesale catering revenues etc.
- Manage and update current selling strategies and product information in all available distribution channels/reservation sources (onsite, third-party reservation providers, call centers, websites, GDS, etc.)
- Facilitate Daily and Weekly Sales and Revenue Strategy meetings.
- Conduct ongoing competitor price and product analyses to ensure proper rate positioning and product offering relative to competition.
- Actively participate in budgeting and business planning for the Food and Beverage department including Catering, and any other revenue generating department.
- Work with the Regional Director of Revenue Management in recommending and implementing of Revenue Management programs and new initiatives at the hotel.
- Active participant in all pricing decisions for transient, group, and wholesale segments.
- Work with the hotel DOSM and hotel team to establish strategies to increase revenue of both rooms and catering.
- Contribute to the financial success of the hotel via participation in annual budgeting and sales and marketing plan process.
- Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly revenue management reports and present results from all segments including internet channels.
- Maintain historical statistical data from all distribution channels, in all market segments.
- Continually monitor all pertinent travel related websites to ensure competitiveness in both availability and price.

Qualifications and Skills
- At least five years revenue management experience, sales experience preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Administration, Business, Statistics, Marketing, Finance or relevant field of work preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to identify relevant data and use it to draw inferences with reference to impact on hotels revenues.
- Ability to quickly adapt to a constantly changing market with a revenue positive effect.
- Ability to use PMS, reservation and revenue management systems and Delphi systems to implement optimal strategies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strength in Word and Excel.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.

Position Summary
As the Senior Manager Financial Planning Analysis, you will play a pivotal role in assisting our executives in making high-impact decisions that shape the future of the organization. This role will be responsible for financial forecasting and budgeting across the business, building and maintaining dynamic financial models, and collaborating across all business functions in support of multiple lines of business to help accelerate profitable growth.
Primary Job Duties
The role will work closely with the accounting and operations teams to put together financial forecasts, budgets, and weekly KPI metrics. This role will also work with the senior management team to formulate the mid to long-term financial and strategic plan. You will work with the leaders of each department to assist them to build their annual budgets and forecasts and produce models to project long-term growth and determine impacting business factors.
Critical areas of focus will be:
- Prepare weekly KPI reports and financial analysis for the operations team
- Prepare and maintain financial models (including income statement, balance sheet and cash flows) and update it based on results and projected operating metrics
- Establish and continually audit all internal financial controls
- Develop, streamline, and continuously improve internal financial reporting for senior leadership, inclusive of revenue, key performance indicators, expense, and profit performance and variance drivers across all departments
- Lead the development and monitoring of the annual budget and financial plan, including developing annual operating plan and performance indicators, in collaboration with the executives and senior staff
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support across the entire business
- Proactively identify and suggest opportunities for value-add financial analysis and process improvement
- Become an expert in underlying financial data across multiple systems
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.

Compensation

Crane is a diversified manufacturer of highly engineered solutions operating globally across two exciting segments: Process Flow Technologies and Aerospace & Electronics. Supporting those segments, we have multiple business units operating independent P&Ls with structural reporting that includes a President and staff to drive their respective strategies. Accordingly, each of those business units has a CFO and a staff, including FP&A, and related resources necessary to support the business financial objectives.
This Sr. Manager, FP&A position is part of the Corporate FP&A Team, that supports the entirety of Crane. This role is based in our Stamford, CT headquarter office.
I am looking for a senior FP&A leader to join our Corporate Headquarters which houses our most senior executives at Crane, says Cranes VP of FP&A. With this close-knit group of executives, I need a partner who will help refine and improve our common reporting approaches across Crane while also using business financial information, including historical trending and alignment with forecasts and budgets, to quickly isolate gaps / opportunities in the most efficient way possible. I am looking for an energetic, talented individual who enjoys the fun of tackling complex tasks. Given the breadth of opportunities and challenges that are inherent in our exciting business model, were looking for someone who can manage a variety of shifting priorities on the day-to-day basis. I need a partner who is hands-on and seeks to jump in where necessary!
Functional success can be defined as follows:
Continue to develop, enhance, implement and sustain a planning and analysis capability that will:
- Identify business unit opportunities to improve performance we dont just accept the results at Crane! We strive to be better, year after year!
- Provide senior executives at Corporate with appropriate reports and analyses, at the appropriate cadence (weekly, monthly, quarterly, ad hoc)to measure the performance of the Companys portfolio of business units against the annual operating plan (budget), periodic forecasts and prior year. Cranes CFO is often heard saying, Not too little, not too much.just the right amount that an executive can easily distill / understand with valuable insights!
- Interact with all business unit finance leaders to understand root cause of gaps / opportunities to what was otherwise expected in periodic performance. Nothing is more effective than picking up the phone, or conducting a virtual meeting to understand and see what occurred with the CFO or FP&A leader at a business unit.
- Identify opportunities to be more efficient and make things easier for our business units who are doing all they can to drive profitable growth!
- Provide a critical eye over the Corporate Office department spend. Our corporate office needs to be a lean machine!
Additional Specific Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead the Operating Plan and Forecasting process across the Company
- Analyze financial data and provide detailed reports highlighting key performance indicators and trends
- Monitor financial performance against operating plan, forecast and prior year, providing variance analysis and actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support strategic decision-making
- Prepare material for the board of directors, investor relations and the CFO and COO and CEO of Crane Company.
- Partner with the Corporate Controller, Investor Relations and Business Development teams in Stamford on month end reporting, quarterly earnings reporting and M&A activity We are very acquisitive and will continue to have exciting acquisition activities where this position will play a critical role assessing valuation models / questioning assumptions, etc.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement and automation
- Assist the CFO of Crane with ongoing training material development for our CFOs and business leaders in the field to hone their finance skills.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in HFM (Hyperion Financial Management)
- Advanced user of MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel Macros)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing financial challenges

Qualifications:
