Our drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of petroleum products to regional terminals, refineries, and various other locations. Transport drivers independently follow specified policies, procedures, and standards, under the general supervision of local fleet management.

Minimum Qualifications
- Active Class A Commercial Driver's License

- Must register with FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide consent to company for review of clearinghouse records.

Shift Requirements

Job Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip inspection on equipment in alignment with MPC policy and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Check tank truck/trailer or tractor/trailer for general operating requirements and make sure that all required equipment is available and in good operating condition. Note inspection and deficiencies on the pre-trip inspection form.
- Drive a tank truck/trailer or tractor/trailer to transport product in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. Obey all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Follow MPC and site specific standard operating procedures for the loading and offloading process.
- Perform post-trip inspection on equipment in alignment with MPC policy and DOT regulations. Complete all regulatory and customary paperwork. Ensure equipment is ready for the next shift.
- Communicate all incidents, including safety and environmental concerns, according to company procedures.
- Report all equipment issues in a timely manner.
- Follow, maintain, and adhere to all safety rules and operating procedures, including all DOT regulations.
Physical Requirements Include
- Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions.
- Must be able to work on elevated spaces: 30+ feet on graded elevation.
- Must be able to frequently lift, carry, push, and/or pull 50-65 lbs.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to grip a steering wheel for extended periods of time.
Screening Requirements
- Must maintain a satisfactory driving record and provide consent to company for review of driving record(s).
- Must pass required drug and alcohol screening(s).
- Must complete DOT physical and maintain current medical card.
- Must pass three-year DOT safety background check and seven-year criminal background check.

**Qualifications**
+ Clean driving record with a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements as well as a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate allowing for operation in interstate commerce (or the ability to quickly obtain stated license, certificate and required endorsements)

Position responsibilities: ?
+ The Driver is responsible for transporting finished goods or raw materials between facilities as well as connecting and disconnecting trailers at destination
+ You will complete pre- and post-trip inspections and verify load and seal numbers
+ This role maintains Department of Transportation time log, bill of lading and other paperwork as required
+ The Driver maintains vehicle, product and equipment to company standards level

We are currently seeking a Tanker Driver to safely operate a semi-trailer/tractor unit in the timely pick-up and delivery of bulk water from our spring sites to bottling facilities. All routes are home daily
**Skills Required:**
+ Safely operate a semi-trailer/tractor unit with gross vehicle of 100,000 lbs in the timely pick-up and delivery of bulk water from spring sites to company bottlings plants
+ Load and unload tanker truck safely
+ Act as a team player by supporting the team with decisions and helping others when needed
+ Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
+ Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
+ Communicate effectively with dispatchers and plant personnel
+ Complete all DOT required documents and reports following required laws and standards
+ Ensure compliance with Federal, State, Local, and company operating requirements
+ Follow company water quality testing procedures
+ Maintain a clean and safe vehicle
+ Maintain accurate driving logs, inventory, and records
+ Operate forklift safely to unload and reload trailer with company products.
+ Be courteous, outgoing, and always maintain a professional image
+ Protect company assets by securing product loads before and during transport
+ Understand and maintain load and freight weight requirements.

**Qualifications**
**Requirements / Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
+ Must be 21 years of age or older (DOT requirement)
+ Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
+ Tanker endorsement required at the time of hire
+ Minimum two years commercial tractor / semi- trailer driving experience, minimum 100,000 pound GVW preferred
+ Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR): Only one license held, no DUI/DWI, refusal to test, leaving the scene of an accident, driving a commercial vehicle without a CDL, or at-fault fatal accidents, driving-related suspensions, revocations, or cancellations; disqualifying offenses; or reckless driving incidents
+ Ability to read and interpret information such driving routes, safety rules, sales tickets, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
+ Ability to sit, stand, push, pull, climb ladders, walk all day, and move/lift objects weighing up to 75 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
+ Ability to work independently, efficiently, and in several types of weather
+ Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently
+ Experience operating a sit down forklift and/or pallet jack preferred
