Sales Account Representative - Imports
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Sales Account Representative to join our Import Sales team here at our JBS Corporate Headquarters in Greeley, CO! This person will maintain a good working relationship with key accounts to ensure increased year over year sales growth and work cross functionally with other members of the business unit sales team, transportation teams, claims and more!
Responsibilities:
+ Develop new accounts that show measurable sales growth.
+ Use product and market knowledge to generate sales within designated territory.
+ Contact with key accounts to discuss programs and products and ensure they align with company and customer's strategic short term & long-term goals.
+ Build business strategies targeting accounts that drive sales.
+ Responsible for updating customers concerning market and customer trends on a regular basis.
+ Conduct product cutting and seminars as needed to demonstrate and merchandise the value of JBS products.
+ Conduct regular visits to JBS operation facilities to stay abreast of current processes and procedures directly impacting the customer.
+ Regular contact with JBS inside sale teams concerning on time deliveries, offers, bids, contracts, product shortages and sales order status.
+ Provide weekly written recaps & updates to the sales & leadership team.
+ Keep current on administrative duties and sales plans.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
+ Minimum 2 year or more previous experience in the meat industry in areas of merchandising, wholesale, or foodservice operations strongly preferred.
+ Industry experience or knowledge in red meat strongly preferred.
+ Excellent phone and strong presentation skills.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Comfortable in an office environment.
+ Willing to travel up to 15% required.
+ Microsoft Office applications a must.
+ Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
+ Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

+ Base salary range of $90,000 - $115,000;

Job Purpose:

Increase furniture sales of lab related furniture and casework. Coordinate communication between customers, project managers and design team for lab related opportunities. Provide guidance, expertise on design and functionality of furniture in lab settings.


  • Support sales team on lab related opportunities.
  • Conduct ongoing training to ensure team members, architects, designers and dealers are proficient in product and industry knowledge.
  • Provide architectural assistance, training, and presentations
  • Work with the estimating team and supervisor to provide pricing guidance and margin growth
  • Attend local, state, and national conferences to promote lab solutions
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while fully aware of new products and competitors' status.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of the marketplace by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and trust with existing and potential customers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues and challenges.
  • Facilitate communication with internal contacts to ensure sales execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and deliver sales reports and presentations to senior leaders and customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and needed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in laboratory-grade casework sales required
  • Experience working with laboratory-grade casework dealers preferred
  • Laboratory grade casework installation experience a plus
