Your role at Clorox:
Supports Sales Planning team by gathering, analyzing, and reporting sales related data. Leads sales input process for innovation projects for the Food BU. Works with Sales Planning team members to assist in development of 18-month Category Plans.
In this role, you will:

Create and update complex reports for sales planning team and Food BU project teams. Customer and Category Planning: Provides input into integrated customer plan and contributes to business plan release for assigned Hidden Valley. Responsible to advocate for assigned customers. Independently gather and interpret data and identify business drivers and opportunities. Lead sales input process for core business activities including innovation and forecasting.
Build Capability to Drive Growth and Eliminate Waste: Uses appropriate tools, processes, resources to support organization. Communicate findings with wide variety of stakeholders including field sales/customer teams, sales planning teams, retailer contacts and Clorox leadership.
What we look for:
- 2-4 years of Sales Planning, Field or Customer experience, CPG experience would be a plus
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint
- Power BI or experience with visualization tools
- Proficient on Sales analytical tools (Circana)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to a broad audience
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Category knowledge
- Working with category teams, cross-functional resources and customer counterparts
- Participating in execution of business plans and category reporting to achieve and monitor results
- Presenting business recommendations to influence internal and external stakeholders
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects and requests

Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the Sales Planner is to implement and maintain a current detailed sales plan for the account(s) assigned using the Sales planning tool for regional chain accounts. They are expected to be able to work autonomously with Account Executive and Account.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the preparation of documents for monthly consensus meetings. Reviews sheets and meets with internal core team members prior to meeting. Together with account executive, assist in the presentation for monthly meetings along with brand management, merchandising, and operations, providing analysis and explanations of all recommended changes to the sales plan.
- Helps incorporate agreed upon changes to the plan from consensus meeting and publishes a summary of these changes.
- Works closely with Account Executives and retailer's buyers and planners to develop a sales, receipt and inventory plan for the incoming season in a timely manner, consistent with established planning calendar deadlines.
- Maintains Sales/Receipt/Inventory plans throughout the season and aligns with retailer's productivity metrics. Adjust sales based on historical results and current POS trends.
- Reviews plans weekly/monthly with retail buyers and planners, account executives, replenishment managers, and forecasting and planning.
- Communicates proactively and divergency between the sales plan, the account inventory plan, the receipt plan with the appropriate functional area.
- Standard and ad hoc reporting; administrative duties
- Related Work Experience which may include Sales Planning, Forecasting, Demand Planning, or POS (Point of Sale) Analyst
- Bachelor's degree in business, Math, Computer Science, Statistics, or Finance preferred

Responsibilities

+ Analyze sales performance across regions, product lines, and channels to track KPIs, conduct gap analyses, and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

**Summary**
The Director, Sales Planning & Strategy leads WIFI's Sales Planning function to deliver exceptional Order Fill Rates and Forecast Accuracy, directly driving enterprise-wide Customer Service Index (CSI) performance. As the Manager, Demand & Sales Planning, you will be responsible for overseeing SKU-level demand planning and financial estimate planning across multiple brands and categories for the Amazon business across our brands on the platform.
