Duties & Responsibilities:
The Salesforce Administrator will lead strategic initiatives within our highly customized Salesforce Sales Cloud, driving impactful projects and delivering innovative solutions that support Lincoln's business objectives. Based in our Chicago office, this role goes beyond traditional administration-our Salesforce Administrator will act as a project leader, an architect of complex systems, and a catalyst for business improvement, optimizing Salesforce to empower our team and enhance client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management
- Lead Salesforce-related projects from planning to execution, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes that align with Lincoln's business goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement complex Salesforce solutions that address critical business challenges and enhance our CRM's capabilities.
- Advanced Configuration
- Own the configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Lincoln's Salesforce environment, including custom objects, record types, workflows, Lightning components, and advanced Flows.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex system errors, ensuring the integrity and reliability of our CRM for seamless business operations.
- Implement, maintain, and support third-party packages and connected applications to expand Salesforce's functionality and integration with other tools.
- Utilize tools like Data Loader to conduct sophisticated data operations, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our CRM data.
- Continuous Innovation and Optimization
- Act as an in-house expert on Salesforce best practices and emerging trends, identifying opportunities to innovate and enhance the platform.
- Engage proactively with business leaders to anticipate needs, design solutions, and continuously optimize Salesforce to better serve Lincoln's evolving objectives.
Interested candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, CIS or similar
- Minimum 5 - 6 years of professional experience in a comparable role
- Hold an active Salesforce Administrator Certification
- Experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems
- Experience with object-oriented programing
- Successful candidates are assertive and self-motivated, can manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment and are detail oriented
- Successful candidates have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to work well with differing personality types
- Be team-oriented and possess strong integrity and professionalism
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and data management and manipulation (e.g. write and use formulas, track statistics, manipulate data tables)

The salary range for this role is $100,000-$130,000 on an annual basis. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Chicago. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
This job is also eligible for bonus pay.

The Job
As the Salesforce Administrator you will be responsible for implementing Ace's Retail Operations wholesale sales strategies via Salesforce.
This position will be expected to provide recommendations for the various methods of utilizing Salesforce to maximize the value of the tool; maximize the efforts of the field team's efforts regarding the sales cycle; create & provide reporting back to departments within Ace that are collaborating with the field team on a selling opportunity (i.e. merchandising, consumer marketing, etc.)
The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for leading and executing the administration and the ongoing training of Salesforce at ACE. This includes database administration, management, training and documentation, planning and support of vendor management. The Salesforce Administrator will work closely with ACE's IT team to execute project work plans to meet the changing needs and requirements of end users.
What you'll do
- Provide technical support and customer service efforts for Salesforce users, diagnose and resolve problems and seek opportunities to enhance work flows. There are 300+ active end users with the majority of them field based.
- Collaborate/manage ongoing relationships with our business partners including (software) and Ace IT (business intelligence/Ace Data) as well as any project managers to create work flows that keep the Salesforce related projects on time and within budget.
- Execute all configuration changes and proactively monitor the tool for usefulness and data integrity. Develop reports, dashboards and processes that continue to deliver a tool that is seen as a game changer to the end user.
- Communicate with senior leadership on a regular basis project status, potential delays and any timeline changes.
- Utilize and work with a Field Input Team that have given previous direction in the past. This team represents each of the business functions with Salesforce users: DM, RM, MDM and PM.
- Own all training as it relates to Salesforce at Ace Hardware. Training all new hires during their first few weeks as well as all ongoing enhancements as upgrades become available and the challenges those upgrades bring. Monitor user adoption rates and respond as needed (additional training, communication or modifications) to improve adoption
- Manage ongoing support requests and administrative needs of all Salesforce end users.
- Maintain day to day operational activities while proactively reaching out to the field for future enhancements to keep the tool relevant and constantly evolving.
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in (certifications or experience)
- Strong leadership skills and experience in leading project/program teams
- Excellent project management skills
- Ongoing training and Salesforce administration certification required
- Proficient in data manipulation
- Strong research and analysis skills, including aptitude and skills around managing and organizing large blocks of information.
- Occasional overnight travel required (2-4 nights/month), conferences, internal/external meetings; ability to independently travel as needed, without restriction, by all modes of transportation, including car or plane for training or meetings.

About The Role
As aSenior Salesforce Administrator at TravelPerk, you'll be the primary point of contact for Revenue Systems in North America, playing a critical role in our global Salesforce strategy. While our Salesforce team is based in Europe, you will represent our Salesforce presence on the ground in North America, supporting a growing Revenue organization across time zones. This is a high-impact role for a proactive, hands-on Salesforce expert ready to take ownership, drive innovation, and champion CRM excellence in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
You'll manage the day-to-day administration, configuration, and optimization of our Salesforce platform, working closely with stakeholders in Revenue, Marketing, Finance, and Data to deliver scalable, reliable solutions. Your insights will help shape a high-performing, global Salesforce function that supports our ambitious growth in North America and beyond. As we scale our presence in North America, you'll be instrumental in ensuring our Salesforce platform scales with us. What You Will Do
- Own Salesforce Operations for North America
- Act as the main Salesforce point of contact for North American teams , ensuring regional needs are met and aligned with global Salesforce strategy.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders in the North America region to gather requirements, deliver solutions, and serve as a trusted CRM advisor.
- Customise and Configure Salesforce
- Design and implement Salesforce solutions tailored to the needs of the Revenue organization in NAM and globally.
- Manage user roles, profiles, permissions, and data security across regions.
- Build efficient, automated processes using Salesforce Flows and other tools to streamline workflows and improve productivity.
- Enable and Empower Users
- Deliver training and support to new and existing Salesforce users.
- Develop user-friendly materials and lead training sessions that ensure consistent adoption and effective use of Salesforce.
- Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues
- Serve as the first line of support for Salesforce issues and inquiries from North America users, escalating or collaborating with the European Salesforce team as needed.
- Monitor and maintain data quality and system functionality, ensuring a smooth and dependable Salesforce experience.
- Monitor and Optimize Performance
- Track usage and performance metrics, identifying improvement opportunities specific to regional workflows.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to improve system efficiency and user satisfaction.
- Collaborate Globally
- Work within our Salesforce team to maintain consistency, share best practices, and drive cross-functional projects.
- Help bridge the gap between global strategy and regional execution, ensuring alignment while advocating for North America-specific needs.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve
- Keep up with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and best practices.
- Evaluate and introduce new capabilities that enhance our CRM environment and support TravelPerk's continued expansion in North America.
- Experience in Salesforce administration and CRM systems.
- At least Admin 201.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce features and functionality.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Apex ability is a plus.

Compensation:
Compensation for this role comprises of a base salary and stock options, with the base salary anticipated to be between 89,000 and 105,000. Actual compensation may vary based on specific qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors.

JOB OVERVIEW
The Salesforce Administrator will develop, administer, and train on our Salesforce instance which includes Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Pardot and more. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption of Salesforce. The administrator will work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify develop and deploy new business processes. This role is part technical project manager, part administrator and part Service Cloud analyst. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our Salesforce platform.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Serve as system administrator for the Salesforce Service Cloud environment with 600+ users.
- Handle all administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks.
- Support day to day user support and questions, troubleshoot configuration defects and process gaps.
- Collaborate with users and stakeholders and look for ways and opportunities to improve user and client experience.
- Advocate for Salesforce best practices, provide user assistance and sharing lessons learned.
- Support OmniChannel, Outlook plug-in, OwnBackup data storage
- Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades.
- Manage Salesforce data feeds and other API integrations.
- Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests.
- Work with Wheels management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities.
- Assist in training of new users and grow the Salesforce skill set across the organization.
- Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors, and the application development teams.
- Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements.

Pay Range:
$85,200-$119,300
The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan which is based on company performance and individual performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience, education, certifications, skill level and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
