Educator Pay Rate: $21 - $23/ per hour (based on education and experience)
Program Hours: Monday - Friday, 11:30am - 6pm **Hours will vary slightly depending on school location
You’ll drive the mission by:
- Daily Program Meetings: Each day, review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
- Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities : Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring they align with the program’s objectives. Organize and lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum; that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
- Leading by Example: Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children are enjoying themselves while also meeting program goals. You will achieve this by modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management.
- Prioritize Safety and Joy: Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols. These may include documenting attendance, incidents, and other observations.
- Communication: Effective communication with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
Ideal Candidates will have the following:
- Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills
- Works well in a team environment
- At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age preferred
- Ability to lift 25lbs
- Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living
- Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed
California Requirements:
- Ability to meet state-specific requirements;
- First Aid and CPR-in-person
- Cleared tuberculosis test and health screening
- Authorized to work in the US
- 18+ years of age
- Proof of High School diploma/GED required
- Fingerprint LiveScan background check completed and cleared

General Definition :
Under the supervision of the Director of Educational and Pupil Services/Student Assistance Program, provides services in the school setting to meet the needs of students related to mental health, substance abuse, violence and conflicted relations.
Employment Term:
15-30 hours per week, 9 months per year
Salary:
$23 per hour

Director of Educational and Pupil Services/Designee/Director of Special Education
Qualification Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Education and Experience:
Master's or higher degree, and at least one year experience with high school age children and families preferred.
Certificates and Licenses:
Must be a registered intern with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences or be a valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Certified in First Aid and CPR, possess valid CA Driver's license, evidence of TB and criminal justice fingerprint clearance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling services to students who self-refer or are referred by a parent, teacher or administrator for issues related to mental health, substance abuse, and/or violent relationships.
- Facilitate group therapy and/or psychoeducational groups independently or as a team member.
- Conduct intake assessments, prepare treatment recommendations and make referrals as necessary.
- Assist students in crisis as needed.
- Maintain confidential clinical records of sessions.
- Engage, advocate for, and support all students in learning.
- Collaborate and coordinate with school and community resources.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, Special Education staff and administrators.
- Must be able to meet and interact with employees and parents/guardians in routine situations, which require tact, discretion and courtesy.
- Understands and follows FERPA and Mandated Reporter regulations.
- Other related duties as needed.
