About Your Compensation
Compensation for this position starts at $20.00/Hour and, with demonstrated experience and qualifications, candidates may earn up to $3.00/Hour.
About Your Work Day
- Follows recipe cards, prepares food for the menu items ensuring taste, presentation, and temperature of food.
- Prepares kitchen for the shift including ingredients and equipment.
- Monitors other cooks and culinary team members as requested.
- Maintains food safety and a clean working environment.
- Effective communication with front-of-the-house managers on menu items and their ingredients.
- Proper Storage, Labeling, and rotation of products (FIFO).
- May work full-time or part-time with some opportunities for overtime, depending on schedule needs. Typically working lunch and evening services in eight-hour shifts. Many cooks will be required to work weekends and may not receive two days off in a row if working full-time.
- May be required to inventory food station items on a nightly, weekly, or monthly basis and report inventory to Sous Chef or senior cook.

Overview
CORT Furniture Rental is hiring immediately for a full-time, seasonal Delivery Assistant!
With customer service as a priority, Delivery Assistants will help drivers with the delivery and installation of residential and office furnishings within the agreed upon time frame and in accordance with the lease agreement.
Pay: $20 / hour depending on experience.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM. Saturdays may be required. Seasonal, up to 5 months .

Responsibilities

Inspect furniture to ensure it is in acceptable condition for delivery prior to loading

About Your Work Day
- Maintain complete knowledge of the daily scheduled group functions, times, locations, amount of people; location of all Hotel function space and names of rooms; all styles of meeting and banquet room settings. BEOs reviewed on a daily basis.
- Set up rooms and function areas with designated tables, chairs, staging, dance floor, flipcharts, easels, blackboards, and other equipment as specified by group requirements and in accordance with departmental standards.
- Coordinate sales team on the set up of table linens, skirting and tabletop items (water pitchers, pens, papers, glasses, and so forth) as specified by group and in accordance with departmental standards. Assist with the setup of routine audio/visual equipment, such as LCD projectors and screens

The Athenaeum Hotel is also a venue for special events, all of which are provided by the Special Events department ( . About Your Work Day

Maintain complete knowledge of the daily scheduled group functions, times, locations, amount of people; location of all Hotel function space and names of rooms; all styles of meeting and banquet room settings. BEOs reviewed on a daily basis.

Set up rooms and function areas with designated tables, chairs, staging, dance floor, flipcharts, easels, blackboards, and other equipment as specified by group requirements and in accordance with departmental standards.

Coordinate sales team on the set up of table linens, skirting and tabletop items (water pitchers, pens, papers, glasses, and so forth) as specified by group and in accordance with departmental standards. Assist with the setup of routine audio/visual equipment, such as LCD projectors and screens

Set up and refresh food and beverage items in accordance with BEOs and group requests.

Breakdown function areas as scheduled in accordance with departmental procedures.

Coordinate deep cleaning of conference rooms with housekeeping.

Inspect set rooms for cleanliness and agreement to group requirements; rectify any deficiencies.

Inspect cleanliness and working condition of all equipment and supplies to be set up in function area; rectify any deficiencies.

Maintain complete knowledge of all Departmental/Hotel policies and procedures including safety guidelines.

CORT Furniture Rental is **hiring** **immediately** for a full-time, seasonal Delivery Assistant!
With customer service as a priority, Delivery Assistants will help drivers with the delivery and installation of residential and office furnishings within the agreed upon time frame and in accordance with the lease agreement.
**Pay:** $20 / hour depending on experience.
**Schedule:** Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM. Saturdays may be required. **Seasonal, up to 5 months** .

**Responsibilities**

+ Assist with various warehouse responsibilities including monthly inventory counts, staging, loading and unloading furniture, operating warehouse equipment, and repairing furniture as needed.
