**SUMMARY OF POSITION:**
Under the supervision of the Director of Security, the Security Officer is responsible to patrol all assigned areas of the facility. The Officer must respond to all calls/Emergency codes immediately, following protocol that has been established in existing policy. The Officer must enforce facility rules and regulations as directed. Officers will do investigations and inform managers of results. The Security Officers Will also inform the Director of safety issues and ensure the functioning of radios, vehicles and Life Safety Equipment. Security Officers will also assist our customers and other duties as assigned.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):**
+ High School Diploma or equivalency required
+ Valid Pennsylvania state driver's license
+ Must obtain Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) certification within six months of hiring
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):**
+ Graduate of police academy or security course preferred.
+ A minimum of six (6) months police or security experience preferred.

Ensures the physical security of personnel, facilities, and equipment at all locations. Oversee and maintains security systems and equipment.
Essential Functions
- Determines necessary security coverage in accordance with normal operations, planned outages, and special requirements.
- Assists contract Security Officers. On call 24/7 for any incidents, and to do investigations as needed.

JOB SUMMARY:
Oversees and directs security operations across multiple sites, managing a team of Field Supervisors and security personnel. Conducts inspections to ensure compliance with post orders and provides coaching and training to enhance performance. Implements administrative procedures to support branch operations effectively.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The listed functions describe the core responsibilities of this role. Specific tasks may vary and can be documented separately. Additional duties may be assigned based on business needs. All assigned duties are considered essential unless otherwise noted. Employees are accountable for successful job performance, which will be assessed through documented standards. In performing duties, employees must adhere to safe work practices and be aware of all related company policies. Employees must notify superiors of any unsafe working conditions.
- Manage shifts and segments of guarding operations across various locations, ensuring exceptional service delivery by overseeing subordinate officers and staff.
- Regularly engage with clients to guarantee service expectations are met; assess service quality, inspect posts, and initiate necessary corrective actions promptly.
- Meet with management and clients for updates and problem resolution; support client onboarding and participate in security planning, assessments, and surveys.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives for staff, ensuring respectful treatment and conducting disciplinary actions when required.
- Maintain and submit payroll records, along with other necessary business information; ensure accuracy and timeliness of client and company reports.
- Foster a professional environment that complies with all applicable laws and company policies, ensuring that staff are informed of these regulations.
- Collaborate with management on scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure efficient service delivery, adjusting as needed to meet client requirements.
- Contribute to company initiatives and assist management in resolving legal, financial, and administrative matters.
- Perform similar tasks as required for the office.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Additional qualifications may be considered based on the specific position.
MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS: Must be at least 18 years old. Must have reliable communication (pager or phone) and transportation (public or private). Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing. Must possess a High School Diploma or GED. Must agree to participate in pre-employment screening, including drug testing and background checks.
Education/Experience: Associate's Degree and 1 year in security operations, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience sufficient to perform the job's essential functions.
Competencies: Proficient understanding of security operations, supervisory practices, and strong planning and leadership skills. Excellent communication abilities, customer service orientation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to be proactive and achieve desired results.
WORKING CONDITIONS: This role requires physical and mental capacity to perform essential functions, including maintaining composure in high-pressure situations; handling multiple tasks; managing sensitive information; and regular use of a vehicle. Physical demands include frequent walking, reaching, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Must be available for on-call responses to emergencies.

Job Details
The Security Operations Specialist opening is a full-time opportunity that is based in Redmond, WA. The Security Operations Specialist will perform the duties as outlined below in a manner that will support the Team mission of enabling business by protecting critical assets and managing risk with a diverse, innovative, partner-oriented team.
Expected Responsibilities:
With guidance from the Global Account Director and Operations Manager:
Take responsibility for their assigned program tasks
Work to support their supervisor and the Client to ensure mission success
Ensure that their efforts are aligned and supporting the Client core values and strategic objectives
Act as Senior Security Operations Specialist when required
Primarily support the Executive Protection Team by managing the daily tasks in the "Command Center"
Oversee executive protection operations through monitoring and escalation of events involving designated executives, corporate assets and interests on a local, domestic, and international basis
Be responsible for communication, resource management, maintaining technologies, and monitoring daily operations for multiple concurrent events
Observe, report, and intervene as appropriate by using a wide range of tools and technologies
Operate Security "Command Center"
- Monitor CCTV (Genetec)
- Manage Phone / Radio communications
- Oversee Alarm Monitoring (Lenel)
- Dispatch / Directing agents during emergency situations
- Verbal and digital Communications with Executives and Assistants
- Coordinate with local Police, EMS, Fire and EP units
Manage the improvement and sustainment of "Command Center" infrastructure
Track multiple agents and executives globally, and assist with issues that may arise
Monitor environmental factors that may influence the safety of personnel and/or business continuity
Utilize analytical tools to consolidate and analyze information then produce report outs to provide insight to the agents in the field
Manage risk situations, to include directing others and interfacing with potentially hostile and / or disturbed individuals
Coordinate with other providers, vendors, and personnel to support global EP operations
Provide first-responder emergency assistance to designated executives
Observe, report, and/or intervene as appropriate regarding any situation that may compromise the safety and security of client's people, assets and/or reputation
Participate in emergency response actions to facilitate the protection of Client people, assets and reputation.
Manage assigned programs and projects
Be involved in routine problem solving and tasking
Participate in training activities as required
Participate in Team meetings as required
Adhere to the Client policies and procedures
Effectively work with/communicate with others
Maintain a valid driver's license
Maintain reliable transportation
Maintain good credit standing
Ability to obtain a valid first aid/CPR/AED certificate
Safeguard and maintain highly sensitive and confidential information
Maintain a level of physical fitness that supports their description of work
Administrative Tasks:
Research, plan, and document routes of travel
Record keeping of events after action reports, recording of task completions, receipt reconciliation
Coordinating notifications to client representatives
Document Intelligence Reports
Job Requirements:
Minimum 2 years-experience in a security/protection related capacity in a corporate/private/Government setting
Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant professional experience
Team oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong Emotional Intelligence Skills
Be comfortable in a dynamic working environment
Must be detail-oriented, accurate and reliable
Be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & OneNote)
