**Interpretation, You will:**
+ Interpret accurately. Typically, consecutive interpretation is needed, but simultaneous interpretation (Mandarin to English and English to Mandarin) may be requested on occasions.
+ Has a good understanding of one or more regional dialects.
**Transcription, You will:**
+ Review audio or internet materials and transcribes with a high degree of accuracy and expression.
+ Possess excellent English-language written communication skills for preparing reports.

The National Security Sector at Leidos is seeking a cleared TS/SCI Senior Geospatial Linguist (Chinese Focus) . This is an exciting opportunity to analyze and conflate information related to feature data in the Geographic Names Database (GNDB), collaborating closely with intelligence community experts in geographic names.

In this role, you will utilize agency guidance and policies to address inquiries regarding the proper usage of names, various Romanization systems, and descriptive information on standardized products. Your work will involve using Geographic Names Processing Systems (GNPS), charts, imagery, and geospatial tools to refine names information for various applications and respond to queries through the Ad Hoc Query process. Additionally, you will prepare files and maps, ensuring accurate data entry to maintain and update the GNDB, which is critical to the success of our mission.

The National Security Sector at Leidos is seeking a cleared TS/SCI Senior Geospatial Linguist (Chinese Focus) . This is an exciting opportunity to analyze and conflate information related to feature data in the Geographic Names Database (GNDB), collaborating closely with intelligence community experts in geographic names.

In this role, you will utilize agency guidance and policies to address inquiries regarding the proper usage of names, various Romanization systems, and descriptive information on standardized products. Your work will involve using Geographic Names Processing Systems (GNPS), charts, imagery, and geospatial tools to refine names information for various applications and respond to queries through the Ad Hoc Query process. Additionally, you will prepare files and maps, ensuring accurate data entry to maintain and update the GNDB, which is critical to the success of our mission.
