XGS warehouse LEAD dockworkers are responsible for loading and unloading freight by hand or by using a pallet jack/forklift, sorting product, and ensuring that trailers are properly and accurately loaded. This position includes using a barcode scanner and helps to maintain the service center dock as neat and orderly.

ENVIRONMENT
Most work is conducted in a comfortable office environment but exposure to site conditions may also occur. Personal protective equipment must be worn in all areas as required. Although the work usually is not considered inherently dangerous, must be careful while performing onsite services.

XGS warehouse LEAD dockworkers are responsible for loading and unloading freight by hand or by using a pallet jack/forklift, sorting product, and ensuring that trailers are properly and accurately loaded. This position includes using a barcode scanner and helps to maintain the service center dock as neat and orderly.
Responsibilities
- Monday-Friday, 2 PM Start Time!
- $22.08 per hour!
- Support dock workers during a specified shift to ensure freight is properly loaded and unloaded to ensure on-time and error free delivery.
- Serve as backup for absentee workers
- Offloading delivery trucks transporting merchandise into the warehouse
- May load or unload by hand, or with freight handling tools such as lift truck, pallet jack, or side cart
- Use scanners to read bar codes on products
- Scan barcode on freight & ensure each freight movement to rack, floor or loading door
- View prompts on screens and follow the direction for some tasks
- Verify shipping information from the scan unit to ensure freight is labeled to go to the correct destination
- Receive and put away inventory
- Confirming merchandise information matches that of the work order
- Attach barcodes to freight for tracking and routing
- Finalizing the work order and updating the database
- Inspecting the merchandise for damage, flaws, and irregularities
- Ensure product meets quality requirements
- Report overage, shortages, and damages according to operating procedures
- Sort and segregate freight by destination
- Verify freight counts
- Dock clean-up as needed
- May include other duties as assigned by Management
- 6 months experience
- Previous experience as a fulfillment associate
- Knowledge of warehousing procedures an advantage
- Ability to read and interpret written work orders
- Strong attention to detail
- 18 years old
- Meet minimum hiring criteria
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing
- Experience operating lift truck, pallet jack, or side desired
- Frequently lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 70 pounds; pull up to 100 pounds and push up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally climb stairs
- Frequently stoop, kneel or crouch

**POSITION PROFILE**
This position will support client facilities services in a corporate environment. Services provided to client include mailroom activities including all shipping and receiving duties, customer kiosk/locker backup support, reporting preparation of all activities and other departmental duties. The right candidate will be an integral part of our talented team, supporting our continued growth.
**JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Perform duties related to mail, shipping and receiving
+ Assist with the loading and unloading of scheduled and unscheduled trucks. Use of pallet jack often required for incoming and outgoing items and internal deliveries.
+ Scan and input all incoming and outgoing items into TRAC database, including certified, registered, return receipt, Federal Express and UPS for delivery to customers.
+ Stationery/office supplies management and distribution (small items)
+ · Document and maintain all data. logs and supporting documents according to management guidelines and maintain detailed files of such.
+ Assists Site Manager with managerial duties to include creating/supporting/submission of required reporting
+ Reviews operations and business processes and makes recommendations for improvement efficiency
+ Maintains the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude
+ Perform various departmental duties as requested
+ Assists Site Manager as needed
**QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)**
+ Requires high school diploma or GED and 1-2 years of related work experience. Supervisory experience a plus
+ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Must be able to stand and walk for extensive period of time/distance
+ Demonstrate competency in computer skills including proficiency in MS Office Suite
+ Professional presence for customer facing
