Responsibilities & Expectations:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize the supply chain operations within a specific geographic region. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient and cost-effective movement of products, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate logistics to meet organizational goals.
- Develop and implement regional supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives
- Oversee procurement, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution within the region
- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery and quality standards
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency, costs, and service levels
- Lead and develop local supply chain teams, fostering continuous improvement and best practices
- Identify risks within the regional supply chain and develop mitigation plans
- Manage regional budgets and ensure spending aligns with company policies
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to enhance supply chain operations
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in supply chain or logistics management, with a focus on regional operations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems
- Ability to travel within the region as needed
