**Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and self-sufficient Lead Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in Java and strong leadership-level experience in Angular development. This role is central to the ongoing development and enhancement of the Relationship Management Center application. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary developer responsible for designing and implementing new features independently, enhancing existing functionality, and supporting Document Management components within the Java ecosystem.
This position requires a proactive, independent learner who can take ownership of complex technical challenges and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal oversight. The candidate will work across the full software development lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of enterprise-grade solutions.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Serve as the lead developer for the Relationship Management Center, driving feature enhancements and new development initiatives.
+ Design, develop, and implement scalable and maintainable full stack solutions using Java (Spring, Spring Boot) and Angular.
+ Work independently to analyze complex system requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
+ Support and enhance existing document management functionality within the Java space.
+ Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other developers to ensure alignment with business goals and technical standards.
+ Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
+ Participate in code reviews, system testing, and validation procedures.
+ Ensure adherence to best practices in software engineering, including CI/CD, modular design, and secure coding standards.
+ Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and maintainability.
+ Participate in production support rotations and respond to escalated issues as needed.
**Skills:**
+ 8+ years of hands-on experience with Java (Java 8+), Spring, Spring Boot, REST, SOAP, and Microservices.
+ 5+ years of experience leading Angular development efforts in a full stack capacity.
+ Strong understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
+ Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, integration frameworks, and distributed caching strategies.
+ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
+ Exposure to streaming technologies such as Kafka is a plus.
+ Experience in financial services or enterprise-scale applications is preferred.
+ Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Collins Aerospace is seeking a mid-level software engineer within the Advanced Networking Solutions department in St. Petersburg, Florida in support of a real-time sensor netting system that enables high quality situational awareness and integrated fire control capability. Our software configuration management team employ an Agile Scrumban process to rapidly build and deploy capabilities on a continuous basis into a mature solution for our customers.
The successful candidate will be integrated into a small sized software team involved in all phases of Software Configuration Management. This will include the development of new scripts and automation tools as well as maintenance of existing scripts and tools for the Integrated Configuration Management/Change Management Environment. Media creation and validation with direct delivery to the customer, COTS Tool configuration and customization of traditional and non-traditional Software CM tools are performed in both Linux and Windows environments while using Agile development methods.
**What You Will Do** ?
+ Use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts of Software Configuration Management
+ Design, plan, enforce and coordinate CM processes and procedures
+ Configuration Planning & Identification, Change Management & Version Control, Status Accounting & Configuration Audits
+ Manage digital product development/media libraries
+ Facilitate the Change Review Boards
+ Maintain familiarity with program schedules, identifying risks and aligning work to promote reuse and efficiency
+ Coordination of data transfers, courier support among various environments
+ Support coordination of various digital product releases and interfaces with functional and/or program leadership ensuring on-time delivery and supports configuration management execution in multi-environment areas
+ Work closely with and communicate effectively with other team members to achieve program success
**Qualifications You Must Have**
+ Enthusiastic and energetic performer able to work in a challenging, dynamic, and fast paced environment with working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
+ Experience with Windows and Unix/Linux Operating Systems and with version control and change management/agile planning tools.
+ Familiar with Linux based scripting such as shell, python, and perl.
+ Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
+ Active and transferable Interim Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance prior to start date **.** U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
