**Responsibilities:**
Lead the full stack development and implementation of a new workflow optimization application.

**Primary job duties/responsibilities:**
- MUST WORK IN EST TIMEZONE
- Application: Understand the business purpose of the AS400 application and the overall processes/functions it supports.
- Technical Architecture: Understand the system architecture diagram of the AS400 application, including interface mechanisms with upstream/downstream systems.
- Environment Details: Document AS400 environments (e.g., Production, Pre-prod, Test, Dev), OS levels, and database versions.
- Technologies Used: Familiarize with RPG programming, DB2 database, CL commands, and communication protocols specific to AS400.
- Code Walkthrough: Walkthrough of complex/critical/error-prone RPG code modules, including any customized routines.
- Integration: Understand the AS400 application integrations with other systems.
- Monitoring Setup: Understand current monitoring mechanisms, log directories, and housekeeping processes on AS400 servers.
- Compliance Requirements: Identify compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, HIPAA) applicable to the AS400 system and ensure adherence.
- Support Scope: Document dependencies with L2/L3 support teams and touchpoints with infrastructure teams for AS400
