We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Provider Solution Architect to lead the growth of Services on EHR Platforms (Implementation, Upgrades, Support, cloud migration etc.).
A Healthcare Provider Solution Architect plays a crucial role in designing and implementing technology solutions that address the unique needs and challenges of healthcare provider organizations. They bridge the gap between business needs of the Provider organizations, and technical capabilities, ensuring that IT initiatives align with clinical workflows, regulatory requirements, and patient experience. This role requires deep expertise in Provider applications, integration, Architecture experience, with a strong background in EHR product & implementations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional Technical leadership, management, and soft skills to drive successful outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive growth of Healthcare Provider solutions for client.
• Build Healthcare Provider Practice within the organization, adding a team of SMEs / technical experts and solution architects.
• Provide technical and strategic guidance on Healthcare Provider applications and workflows.
• Engage with Clients providing solutions to their needs around EHR implementations, integration with Payer systems, Data analytics.
• Oversee key project execution, risk management, and compliance with industry standards.
• Mentor teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of Total experience with minimum of 5 recent years with Healthcare Providers with a strong focus on product deployment (functional and technical).
• Understanding Healthcare provider landscape (e.g., hospitals, clinics, physician groups).
• Solution Design and Architecture: Defining the architecture for applications, infrastructure, data management, integration, and security, keeping in mind healthcare-specific requirements.
• Interoperability: Design solutions that facilitate seamless data exchange and interoperability between different healthcare systems, including EHRs, PACS, laboratory information systems, often utilizing standards like HL7 and FHIR.
• Ensure that proposed solutions comply with relevant healthcare regulations and standards such as HIPAA, HITECH, GDPR, and other data privacy and security mandates.
• Develop strategies for integrating new solutions with existing healthcare IT infrastructure and applications, ensuring data integrity and efficient workflows.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and vendors that align with the organization's needs and budget. This may involve conducting proof-of-concepts and vendor assessments.
• Identify potential technical risks and challenges associated with solution implementation and develop mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated with emerging trend s and technologies in the healthcare IT landscape, such as cloud computing, AI, ML, telemedicine, and digital health, and identify opportunities for their application.
• Proven leadership experience managing large-scale healthcare IT projects.
• Good to have deep understanding of Cerner Millennium, Revenue Cycle, Population Health, and other Oracle Health modules.
• Based around the Greater Chicago area and open to travel (40%)
