The Corporate Accounting Team ("CAT") is an essential part of Corporate Finance at Fisher Investments. We keep the Fisher corporate group's accounting records updated and in accordance with both international and domestic accounting standards. The accounting records provide important information for senior management and are also used to produce our financial statements, tax returns and regulatory filings. The Opportunity: Our team leads the annual financial audits of every company in the corporate group, working with external financial auditors in eight countries (and counting!). - Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect ongoing transactions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Utilize SAP software to perform accounting tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures to meet reporting deadlines. Requirements - Proven experience in accounting with a focus on journal entries and reconciliations.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting processes.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar accounting software.
- Experience managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with accounting standards and compliance requirements.
