Position Title: Staff Accountant Department: Finance
Supervisor’s Title: Director of Finance & Operations Status: Exempt
Assignment Location: Headquarters-Based
Schedule and travel: Hybrid work schedules are available. ONA works with healthcare workers who work across the state in 24/7 facilities. Although rare for this position, there may be times where travel, working nights, and/or overnight stays are required.
JOB SUMMARY
This position will support existing processes and procedures and will be encouraged to make suggestions to increase efficiencies. Experience and expertise in accounting and payroll practices as well as strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate are all preferred.
Accounting duties may include:
o Perform Accounts Payable processing and administration.
o Perform General Ledger journal entries and account reconciliations as assigned.
o Process daily cash activity and perform month end bank reconciliations.
o Reconcile and record monthly investment account activity.
o Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports to department managers and/or ONA bargaining units.
o Assist with budgeting process.
o Assist with year-end functions such as preparation of tax forms and supporting the annual audit.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting and three or more years of general ledger accounting work experience preferred.
• Strong aptitude for quantitative problem solving, use of spreadsheets, and analysis of financial data preferred.
• Experience with accounting software preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite software preferred.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This is a full time, exempt position. The salary is based on applicable years of experience applied to the wage scale outlined in the union staff ’s collective bargaining agreement.
ONA offers an annual starting salary range of $58,424-84,264 depending on experience.
ONA also offers an exceptional benefits package including employer contributions (90%) to medical, dental and vision premiums, as well as employer paid long and short-term disability and life insurance. Opportunity to enroll in 401K plan after 6 months of employment which includes a 3% employer contribution, with additional longevity contributions after 5 years. Union members are also enrolled in a union pension plan. Annual PTO is 25 vacation days, 8 personal days and 12 sick leave days.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct Material Requirements Planning (MRP) several times per week with ownership and drive to improve the item data setup and resulting action messages. Use MRP guidance to generate and issue purchase orders that optimize quality, cost, lead time and inventories.
- Monitor the flow of material throughout the supply chain and ensure that materials meeting quality requirements are purchased at the lowest cost and at the shortest lead-time possible.
- Status, manage, expedite, coordinate, and be accountable in ensuring all parts, materials and hardware are delivered on-time to support production and business needs.
- Expedite and resolve supplier delivery issues and implement proactive strategies to assure timely and compliant deliveries, verifying items are delivered in accordance with PO requirements and specifications/drawings.
- Negotiate supplier contracts
- Regularly evaluate spending, engage with and negotiate pricing and terms with Critical Suppliers to achieve equitable agreements
- Work cross functionally and in collaboration with technical teams within commodities to optimize results
- Participate with and add value to strategic sourcing plans to consolidate supply base, improve gross margins, improve inventory turns, and reduce lead times.
- Maintain supplier relationships, evaluate supplier reliability, develop new/alternate supply sources and improve overall performance of the supply base through continual improvement processes.
- Exercise sound judgment and ethical integrity when achieving results.
- Apply forward-looking approach to assess supply risk and manage suppliers accordingly.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written with the ability to listen and deal with conflicting opinions.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Good analysis, project management, and reporting capabilities.
- Senior-level ERP and MRP experience and aptitude.
- Competency evaluating large data sets in ERP and/or Excel and utilizing available tools to identify trends and conclusions.
- Contract experience.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle and Oracle ASCP.
- 7+ years of related experience in Commodity Management, Procurement, Production Planning, and/or Engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is desired. APICS application and certification(s) or equivalent preferred.
The pay range for this role in Beaverton, OR is between $88,900 and $116,655. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. Job Description
Jamie Benway with Robert Half is looking for a Tax Manager to join our client! This Tax Manager will be an expert in tax returns and financial statements, and have strong skills in Excel and tax software. Are you an experienced Tax Manager looking for a challenging role at an established company? Then this may be the role for you.
Your responsibilities in this role
- Determine tax best business practices and relay to staff accountants and accounting managers
- Review and supervise the preparation of quarterly tax projections, and communicate required estimated tax payments
- Put together and review complex income tax returns
- Help with compliance of tax and financial reporting procedures and policies
- Produce and review tax correspondence and facilitation and oversight of tax audits
- Ensure accurate calculation of W-2s and 1099s and assist in distribution
- Help with planning and compliance regarding tax matters, such as waivers and tax returns
- Help review all financial statements for quality control
- Examine and oversee quarterly and annual payroll tax returns

Requirements
- CPA preferred
- 5-7 years' experience in tax accounting

**What You'll Do**
**As a Staff Accountant, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting operational decision-making. Your responsibilities will include:**
+ Preparing monthly financial statements for assigned operating locations.
+ Reconciling general ledger accounts and analyzing variances against budget and forecast.
+ Completing monthly three-month financial forecasts and rate reviews.
+ Communicating financial insights to business partners and supporting remote facility data flow.
+ Training non-financial staff on internal controls and financial procedures.
+ Supporting special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
**What We're Looking For**
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
+ 3+ years of accounting experience preferred.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
+ Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
+ A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
