Job Description:Take the lead in elevating every experience! As an Operations Manager for Levy at Stanford University, you'll oversee day-to-day venue operations, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure Levy's service standards shine across all departments. You'll drive results, ensure consistency, and keep the energy high from setup to closing. You will drive team performance, oversee inventory and financials, and collaborate cross-functionally to make each event a success. You will be responsible for leading and motivating our hourly team members to provide a warm welcome and delicious food to our guests.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field
+ 3-5 years of experience managing operations in a high-volume environment

Job Summary
The Catering Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of a dynamic, seven-day-a-week catering program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with catering expertise and a flexible schedule to support events of varying scale. The major criterion for appointment as **Clinician Educators** is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Academic rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
Responsibilities are expected to include serving as primary attending on our ward and consult teams with the potential to be involved in a post-discharge clinic and telemedicine. The faculty member will be expected to teach and mentor trainees at all levels and participate in our multidisciplinary care coordination and quality improvement activities. For qualified candidates, opportunities are available to participate in research, quality programs and development of innovative care programs.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
The successful applicant should have expertise in the evaluation and management of the breadth of acute neurological diseases (e.g. acute neuromuscular disease, seizures & status epilepticus, acute headache disorders, meningoencephalitis, rapidly progressive dementia, emergent neurologic complications of cancer and its treatments, neurologic complications of systemic disease, encephalopathy & delirium, etc) and a demonstrated commitment to teaching students, residents and fellows. Candidates must also have excellent communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively with other departments and disciplines. Necessary qualifications include ABPN certification or eligibility and eligibility for a California medical license.
Fellowship training as a neurohospitalist is highly desirable, although other subspecialty fellowship experience will also be considered provided the candidate has sufficient experience in an acute care neurology.

The Office of Institutional Research & Decision Support (IR&DS) at Stanford University has an opening for a Director of Institutional Research to join their team . Flexible hybrid work schedule requiring two days (Tuesdays and Thursdays) onsite weekly.
This role sits within the Office of Institutional Research & Decision Support (IR&DS), a highly respected unit that plays a critical role in shaping data-informed decision-making at Stanford. IR&DS supports a culture of inquiry and continuous improvement by delivering high-quality data, analysis, and insight to university leadership and stakeholders across campus. With a strong reputation for innovation and collaboration, the department partners closely with academic and administrative units to ensure that Stanford's mission and strategic goals are advanced through evidence-based planning and evaluation.
About the role:
The Director of Institutional Research leads the institutional research function for Stanford University, exercising analytical leadership over:
- Creation of dashboards and decision support tools.
- Reporting of core institutional metrics, such as population headcounts and degree completions. The Director of IR oversees reporting to governmental agencies and external bodies on Stanford's behalf.
- In collaboration with the Data Governance Program Director, establishes data definitions and terms of appropriate use for data related to students and the educational mission.
Research studies on the university's performance of its mission. Examples include studies into student success and degree pathways, predictive analytics, and comparative studies leveraging peer data.
The audiences for the work of the institutional research team include the Board of Trustees and executive university leadership. Increasingly, however, the Director of IR leads efforts to provide information and insight to all university constituencies, including faculty, students, and staff.
Collaborating with other directors in IR&DS, the Director of IR determines which findings to share publicly through the IR&DS website ( The Director of IR ensures that university stakeholders receive timely, rigorous, and accurate reporting and analysis. The Director of IR achieves the mission and goals of the group through the management of six institutional research analysts.
The Director of IR reports to the Associate Vice Provost and Director of IR&DS.
Your Day Will Likely Include:
- Proactively identify the issues/challenges having the most value to the university and determine methodologies for collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources on these issues.
- Create multi-year strategic plans to ensure that the university will have access to data and findings needed for decision support and program evaluation.
- Advise senior management on programmatic and policy development. Provide input to university leadership on policies and organizational practices.
- Advise and consult on analytical efforts outside of the organization, including for other university units and for peer consortia.
- Drive collection of new data and the refinement of existing data sources. Assures reliable and consistent data is maintained and available for both ad hoc and longitudinal inquiries
- Create research designs and analytical plans. Use statistical or other techniques to analyze data.
- Create communication plans and strategies for ensuring that university stakeholders and decision-makers receive information in the manner that is most suited to the audience.
- Create quality assurance plans and strategies to ensure that the findings produced are accurate.
- Interact with and influence senior university leaders, faculty, and/or the faculty senate with written summaries and/or presentations.
- May need to collaborate with other organizations to gather data. Proactively seek and locate data, including outside benchmarks or comparative data, to support or refute proposed decisions.
- Direct staff and provide leadership to achieve goals and vision of the organization. Responsible for hiring and retaining staff, career coaching, professional development, and accountable for the performance of direct reports.
Experience You Will Bring to The Organization:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and seven years of relevant experience in administrative and financial management, or combination of education and relevant experience.
- Preferred: Advanced degree and seven years of extensive, relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience solving analytical problems using quantitative and qualitative approaches preferred. Knowledge and experience of data science, statistics, education research, or social science research.

Directors are the onsite representative of iD, responsible for fostering a FUN environment in which students are able to learn new technology and think creatively! With the support and guidance of a nationwide team, the Director leads a team of instructors in the day-to-day program operations. In addition to maintaining the satisfaction of all students, parents, staff and university contacts, the Director will act as the Camp Health Officer and will administer all camper medications and perform camper health assessments. Maintaining a safe, supportive, and enjoyable atmosphere is crucial. At locations with an overnight program, the Director is required to stay on campus.
CERTIFICATION AND TRAINING
- Attend in person and online Regional Staff Trainings

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
Administrative :
- Assist with location set-up, tear-down and product inventory/assessment - ability to lift 50 lbs

Supervisory :

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate must demonstrate proficiency in Google Suite (google drive, google docs, google sheets). Directors must have strong organizational skills and be able to communicate effectively via email, cell phone, and hand-written documents. In addition, the candidate would also have a background working with kids and teens. Previous camp or managerial experience is required. The ideal candidate would have a college degree in a related field. Must hold Pediatric & Adult CPR/First Aid/AED certifications in order to be eligible to work in this position. Some jurisdictions require Directors to be at least 25 years old (by the start of camp). Knowledge of computer networking and/or curriculum software is a plus.
PAY
The pay for this position varies by work location, program division, and camp size:
- California: $1,425-1,525/week
- Colorado, Washington DC, Illinois, Minnesota: $,250/week
- Maryland: 925-1,050/week
- New York: 1,250-1,450/week
- Seattle: 1,475-1,575/week for staff working overnight schedule
- Bellevue, WA: 29/hr
- Other locations: To be discussed in interview
This position is eligible for 401(k) once eligibility requirements are met and other benefits, such as paid sick leave, as required by state or local law.
Hiring begins 11/1/24 and continues through approximately 5/15/25. The number of available positions diminishes further into our hiring season.
