What You'll Do:

• Oversee daily operations of the production line, ensuring that schedules are adhered to and quality standards are met
• Coordinate and supervise all production activities, including planning, organizing, and controlling production schedules
• Monitor performance of production lines, analyzing production data, and implementing improvements as necessary
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Provide leadership, direction, and motivation to the production team, fostering an environment of teamwork and collaboration

SUMMARY

The Operations Supervisor plays a pivotal leadership role in overseeing daily warehouse operations at the Davenport facility. This position is responsible for supervising a team of employees engaged in picking, replenishing, receiving, delivering, and rescuing food. A successful candidate must be a strong, hands-on leader with a proven ability to manage and motivate teams in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. The role demands exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail to ensure that Hunger Relief partner orders and retail pickups are executed with accuracy and timeliness. Working closely with the Operations Systems Manager, the Operations Supervisor is accountable for developing clear daily workloads, maintaining strict adherence to food safety standards, and fostering an environment of accountability and continuous improvement. In addition to operational oversight, this individual is responsible for ensuring the warehouse remains clean, safe, and well-organized at all times, ready to welcome volunteers, partners, and auditors. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

6. Hiring, Training, and Development: Lead the recruitment and onboarding of new staff. Provide thorough initial and ongoing training to build a knowledgeable, dependable, and safety-conscious team. Promote a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.
7. Strategic Execution: Understand and contribute to the execution of strategic initiatives and department-level objectives that support the broader goals of River Bend Food Bank.

QUALIFICATIONS & ABILITIES
