Pay:
H&M Landscaping offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. The range for this position is $70,000+, but actual compensation will vary depending upon new hire experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
Role Overview:
The Construction Supervisor is responsible for overseeing construction assignments by planning, organizing, conducting quality checks, and supervising personnel. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a crew of four teams, including foremen and construction laborers.
- Assign daily work and routes for crews.
- Review and approve crew hours for payroll accuracy.
- Inspect trucks and shop for cleanliness and maintenance.
- Maintain project budgets and order necessary materials.
- Schedule and sequence projects for efficient completion.
- Update job schedules in Resource Guru.
- Communicate with clients to address concerns and provide updates.
- Process billing and collections for completed projects.
- Meet regularly with the Senior Manager of Construction to report progress.
- Participate in weekly production meetings.
- Interview and hire new crew members.
- Prepare proposals and interact with customers regarding projects and warranty work.
- Meet sales goals through upselling and client engagement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree .
- 2+ years of commercial landscaping or construction experience.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to read and interpret financial reports and project documentation.
- Willingness to travel 50–70% of the time.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.

Job Summary:
The Payroll Supervisor will oversee and supervise the Everett Public Schools payroll functions, ensuring that pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training new staff in the payroll department.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the payroll department.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with Everett Public Schools policies.
- Oversees procedures and processes and manages inquiries and requests related to the preparation and distribution of payroll.
- Processes payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
- Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
- Maintains or oversees the maintenance of employee records.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
- Identifies and recommends updates to payroll software, systems, and procedures.
- Upload monthly MTRS Deductions Report and assist with MTRS reconciliation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a clean CDL, an OSHA 10 or 30 card and be legally eligible to work in the US. An associate degree and 2-4 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, an ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications are required. An ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and an ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion is expected.
