Job Description
Our Supply Chain Team ensures inventory is consistently available to meet customer demand. We coordinate all aspects of supply through supply planning, sourcing, making, inventory management, packaging and delivery. We partner across the Marketing, Finance and Manufacturing organizations to build a robust demand and supply plan and ensure we get products to the right customer, at the place, at the right time.
As a member of the Global Launch Planning Team, the Associate Director, Supply Chain Management | Global Launch Planning is accountable for global new product introductions, which includes guiding cross functional/divisional teams to execute initial market launches, and end- to- end (E2E) supply planning for these new products and collaborating with cross functional teams for best practice sharing and Standard Business Process development.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Lead cross functional/divisional team to define and implement supply execution strategies to ensure timely launch of products to meet market/customer requirements
+ Partner with Value Chain Management to ensure new product launches and supply management, are in alignment with Global Filing and Launch Strategy (GFLS) and Supply Chain Design requirements
+ Develop launch supply scenarios, including considerations for inventory impact and potential write-off risks
+ Identify and drive resolution of launch readiness and/or on-going supply imbalances/issues within working team(s), and communicate/escalate through appropriate governances
+ Proactive and forward-looking new product supply management | Understand, balance, and integrate global product demand across nodes/regions, and allocate supply as appropriate to optimize business benefits (inventory, tax, capacity, financial etc.)
+ Own overall supply chain operational performance including service, lead-time and inventory | Develop and manage Budget/Inventory Plans for assigned products | Lead supply team and align applicable stakeholders for assigned products including New Product Introduction, Regional Planning, External Manufacturing and Supply Sites
+ Direct cross functional Global Event Management teams for global product supply interruptions, with goal of minimizing impact to supply, discard, revenue, and Company reputation
+ Interface with our Human Health division on a routine basis regarding supply, risks and opportunities
+ Drive best practices and continuous improvement through establishment, use and improvement of standard work, Communities of Practice, and After-Action Review process
**Required Education:**
+ Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Science related or other Business-related discipline required
+ Advanced Degree preferred
**Required Experience and skills:**
+ Minimum seven years in supply chain, planning, and/or operations in pharmaceutical industry
+ Prior project management experience in a cross functional/cross divisional environment
+ Principled and strong collaboration and communication skills and ability to effectively influence cross functional/divisional partners
+ Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive ownership and accountability within the team
+ Effectively manage multiple priorities, lead in an environment of uncertainty and develop appropriate plans for managing risk
+ Proactive mindset to anticipate and solve problems

The salary range for this role is
$126,500.00 - $199,100.00

**Job Description Summary**
The Associate Director, Supply Chain Management has leadership, coordination and delegation responsibility for the planning of drug product, drug substance manufacturing, combination product, and packaging activities, as well as procurement. The role supports and assists the detail scheduling and capacity constraints for manufacturing and packaging, optimizing methods and processes related to scheduling production activity. The Associate Director will manage planner/buyers for consumables, packaging components, and raw materials to support monthly Production plans. The AD will also manage logistics and warehouse operations.
All incumbents are responsible for following applicable Division & Company policies and procedures.
**Job Description**
**Responsibilities:**
Leadership
+ Lead Supply Chain operations and three facilities, including Production Planning, Warehouse Operations & Logistics, and Master Data Management.
+ Develop and Implement supply chain best practices.
+ Develop resilient supply chain organization.
+ Lead critical site and global meetings, as required.
+ Drives inspection-ready and Right-First-Time culture.
+ Serve as a change agent.
+ Emphasize team development and succession planning.
+ Align and drive KPIs (e.g. RFT, DIFOT, Cycle Time).
+ Support and Lead Supply Chain activities relating to New Product Launch and New Product Development activities.
Master Production Schedule & Production Control
+ Normalize and manage the production scheduling process to ensure supply and inventory requirements are met.
+ Serves as liaison between demand planning, supply planning, and site teams.
+ Communication and coordination of the master production plan from corporate team.
+ Develop finite and long-term production schedules with Manufacturing and Packaging departments.
+ Ownership of site capacity planning and management for three facilities, including but not limited to manufacturing, warehouse, and cold storage capacity.
Scheduling Tools
+ Manage the use of relevant scheduling tools; improve /develop and implement new tools as appropriate.
+ Ensures accuracy of net requirements calculations.
+ Coordinates the use of multiple toolsets (ERP, Inventory Status Reporting, manufacturing/packaging center feedback, etc.).
+ Issues process orders and other manufacturing-related support documentation, as required
Procurement & Supplier Management
+ Manages customer support interactions.
+ Provides direct support to buyers/planners, as required.
+ Ensure Supplier Initiated Changes are tracked and assessed in a timely manner.
+ Ensure ERP Master Data is maintained and kept current.
+ Lead supplier negotiations and relationship management ensuring successful partnerships with our suppliers
+ Maintains and improves supplier management program, supplier scorecards; ensures a resilient and robust supplier base.
Inventory Management
+ Regularly assess material inventory levels at all plants.
+ Review MRP with respective team members and order/adjust, orders and ordering patterns, as required.
+ Review safety stock levels, inventory turns, and slow-moving inventory.
+ Storage capacity modeling and planning.
Cross-Functional Support
+ Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships with various internal and external customers/partners including Quality, Operations, Pharmaceutical Technology, Project management and other support groups/departments.
Warehouse & Logistics
+ Regularly assess onsite storage.
+ Continuous improvement: Review and implement best practices for warehouse operations & logistics
+ Develop and implement tools for capacity management, resource planning, etc.
Misc.
+ Provide inputs for the overall site budgeting process.
+ Additional activities assigned by management, as required.
**Qualifications:**
Education & Experience
+ B.S. degree required.
+ 10+ years' experience within the pharmaceutical industry emphasis on supply chain operations and/or manufacturing operations.
+ Master's degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred, but not required
+ 5 - 8 years of experience in leadership role.
+ Experienced in building high-performing teams through mentorship and professional development.
Knowledge
+ Minimum 4 years SAP Experience required.
+ Minimum 4 years' scheduling/planning experience required.
+ Strong experience with MS Office and building presentations & analytical tools.
+ Experience with biological drug substances preferred.

In this role, you will direct workflow for warehouse employees and lead their team to meet and exceed daily targets. Primary Responsibilities of the Warehouse Supervisor:
- Hiring, on-boarding, training, scheduling, and assigning work to all colleagues reporting to this role
- Maintain a high level of performance for Inventory control, slotting, cycle counting, root cause analysis, Golden Zone as per CVS's IC, Quality and Compliance standards
- Manage and sustain a high level of standards through 5S, lean and cleanliness across the DC using CVS SOP and protocols

- Manage team performance through timely feedback and performance review process to ensure delivery of engagement, motivation, and team development.
**Required Qualifications:**
- Minimum 3 years supervising Inventory Control functions within a Distribution Center/Warehouse
- 2 years supervisory experience
- 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Penske Logistics is looking for an Inventory Clerk to become part of an excellent team servicing the nation's largest grocery store chain at our Shelbyville, Indiana location. Weekends required.
Employees under the direction of the inventory control manager will assist in keeping an accurate inventory ensuring the system inventory in the WMS matches the physical inventory stored at the facility.
