Our intern program philosophy is to “recruit once, hire twice” with the hope to hire interns back into full-time or return internship roles.

The internship program assignments are 10-14 weeks in duration and are full-time on-site internships. The summer 2026 internship is expected to begin on May 17, 2026.

The Supply Chain Management Internship Program is the ideal opportunity for students whose passion is excellence, and who are driven to continually develop, hone, and apply their leadership skills in an organization where opportunity is truly unlimited. Participants in the program are exposed to Halliburton’s supply chain organization, from strategic sourcing to logistics and from manufacturing to materials management.  This internship is the main gateway into our full-time premiere development program which is 2 ½ years. The SCMP summer internship is an opportunity for students to development and provide real results to the Supply Chain organization.

Location: Internship assignments will be based at one of the following locations: Houston, TX; Conroe, TX; Alvarado, TX; Duncan, OK; or Lafayette, LA. Candidates must be open to relocation. Placement will be determined based on business needs and project alignment; specific site preferences cannot be accommodated or guaranteed.

Internship Summary:

Our 12-week SCMP internship is structured to reflect the experience of our full-time rotational program. Interns take on a high-impact project with meaningful exposure to Halliburton’s executive leadership team. This internship serves as the primary talent pipeline for our full-time SCMP program.

  • Safety Project : Intern will focus on improving safety or the environment which may result in improved air quality, reducing noise levels, eliminating heavy lifting, eliminating ergonomic hazards, etc.
  • Supply Chain Business Project : Manufacturing Process Improvements, lean 6 Sigma, Risk Analysis, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement and Inventory Management are some of the focus areas you may be assigned to.
  • High Impact: Assignments have defined business deliverables and include active mentoring and presentations with key business leaders.
  • Invaluable: experience gained in leadership, teaming, problem solving, project management, time management, and presentation skills.

The purpose of this position will be to assure that all inventory transactions are accurately processed, and inventory verification processes are being conducted. The result will have the inventory in the system properly reflect the actual inventory in the warehouse.

The main responsibilities of the Inventory Control Manager will be to ensure all materials are received in the proper timeframe, transferred accurately, maintain an accurate inventory through cycle counting, and conducting physical inventories. Since this position will work closely with co-workers and vendors daily, communication and diplomacy are a critical component of this position.

The Inventory Control Manager reports directly to the General Manager.

Requirements/Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of inventory control/management
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing a team of at least 3
  • Minimum 3 years experience with with ERP or WMS systems
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must have strong mathematical skills
  • Must be willing to work outside part of the day

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

As the Supervisor - Operations (Inventory Control & Quality Control), you will supervise one or more departments within a warehouse operation including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, light assembly, as well as housekeeping of the warehouse. You will report directly to a Manager or Senior Manager Operations. You will train, coach and council associates, and can have at least 2 or more direct reports. You will comply with operational, audit, safety, and all other company policies. You will focus on meeting customer requirements. You will contribute to the development of processes and procedures.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Demonstrates strong expertise in inventory control practices, procedures, and policies across inbound, picking, and outbound operations.
+ Deeply understands the difference between Inventory Adjustment and Inventory Transfer, ensuring accurate and compliant inventory movements.
+ Highly proficient in ICQC (Inventory Control & Quality Control), ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout inventory processes.
+ Coordinate employee work assignments to achieve inbound and outbound service requirements
+ Direct achievement of performance objectives related to productivity, quality, service, and safety
+ Monitor workflow, work completed, error rates and related metrics and takes corrective action
+ Ensure procedures are observed, implemented, and enforced
+ Confirm quality and inspection process is accurate and excess costs are eliminated
+ Ensure safe working environment and follows safety regulations
+ Maintain accurate time, attendance, and performance management records
+ Maintain positive employee relations and morale
+ Recommend performance management actions

**Qualifications:**
+ High School Degree or Equivalent required
+ Fork Lift Certification preferred
+ 3 years warehouse and distribution operations experience
+ 1 year experience leading warehouse associates
+ Ability to operate a forklift or have the ability to obtain a forklift certification
+ Strong knowledge of inventory control processes
+ Knowledge of electrical, construction or mechanical products
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
+ Strong time management skills
+ Basic computer skills
+ Attention to detail
+ Ability to learn and use business planning systems
+ Resolve problems in a timely manner under stressful situations
+ Comfortable working in a team environment
+ Ability to operate hand and power tools and equipment

**Physical Expectations:**

Overview

The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for all operational functions of the Retail Store and may be required to act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager. This individual will adhere to the operational policies and procedures set forth to support the achievement of sales and profitability plans.


The David Yurman Woodlands Inventory Control Manager will be accountable for the following key deliverables:


Responsibilities

Operations:

  • Responsible for managing and reconciling inventory counts and communicating any discrepancies.
  • Take necessary actions to control expense cost and ensure effective and efficient operation in store.
  • Perform inventory maintenance including inventory movement, audits, shipping/receiving, RTV’s and transfers.
  • Effectively utilize POS system and inventory management functions to ensure maximum efficiencies in store.
  • Partner with store management in communicating and implementing any new policies, and procedures.
  • Assists in ensuring compliance with all security/loss prevention policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for the management of repairs and ensuring timely client follow-up.
  • Oversees the plan development and execution of price changes.
  • When covering as an acting manager, would be responsible for the opening and closing of the store, as required.
  • Responsible for management, training, and development of sales support team.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting IT issues with corporate partners.


Sales and Service:

  • Participate in the development and execution of strategic initiatives to achieve sales and profitability plans.
  • Demonstrates an active role on the sales floor when needed.
  • Ensure support staff demonstrate the skills necessary to provide a positive and rewarding client experience in all customer interactions.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-3 years in an operational role within a customer service environment, prior management, luxury retail experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on motivating talent to achieve goals.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.


The expected base salary for this role is $28.00 - $33.00/hour.


Base pay is one component of David Yurman’s total compensation package, which may also include the following for eligible employees: access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, bonus, employee discounts, generous paid time off, sick time, and more.
