+ Closely monitor PO due dates and expedite the status of PO deliveries.
+ Maintain and replenish stocks for consumables.
+ Work independently, manage time effectively, and be well organized to handle a high-volume workload.
+ Majority of the workload is ordering parts from other internal facilities and outside vendors and creating production orders for parts to be manufactured.
**Requirements:**
+ HS Diploma/GED
+ 1-3+ years of planning and scheduling experience
+ SAP Experience
+ Previous order processing experience, including generating purchase reqs./orders
+ Proficient with MS Office Tools, specifically Excel

In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts, and optimizing inventory turnover within our Distribution Center.

A day in the life as an Inventory Control Associate
+ Perform all product replenishment activities both on-site and off-site to move product into pickable locations
+ Research and reconcile mis-picks, shipping and receiving errors
+ Review all open work units daily including put-away, moves and pick work units, and resolve all issues in a timely manner
+ Process all changes to inventory as a result of returned goods, breakage, return to vendor and unit pack changes
+ Coordinate and execute all daily activities associated with inventory control to maintain correct quantities of stock on hand
+ Conduct semi-annual inventories to rectify physical counts

+ Previous warehouse, stock or inventory control experience required
+ Understanding of the IBM AS400 system required
+ RedPrairie/JDA experience a plus

Schedule/Shift: A Shift , Monday - Thursday / 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM ($18/hr)

Job Purpose: The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for conducting cycle counts and bin location audits, assisting in researching and reconciling inventory discrepancies and working with the Inventory Supervisor/Manager in any inventory related functions concerned with inventorying materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts, in stockroom, warehouse, or yard.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs physical counts of inventory items in order to maintain accurate inventory.
  • Counts and reconciles randomly chosen or chosen part numbers and/or locations on a daily basis.
  • Accurately inputs inventory control data to ensure inventory integrity.
  • Completes necessary documentation thoroughly, accurately, and on-time.
  • Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
  • Use of motorized equipment including: Cherry Picker, Sit-Down Forklift, Stand-Up Reach Truck
  • Other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ensures compliance to inventory processes and procedures, and contractual obligations.
  • Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets.
  • Utilize computer terminal to properly account for inventory issues, returns, and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-3 months related experience and/or training in Inventory Control.
  • Minimum 1-3 months related experience and/or training in warehouse environment.
  • Experience operating a forklift and cherry picker/high lift required.
  • Experience using WMS software a plus (Synapse preferred).
  • PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access Database.

Education and/or Experience Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory management systems
