Team Overview And Job Responsibilities
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for ensuring material availability throughout the supply chain to meet our customer needs. This Supply Chain functions for the Rocky Mount, NC and Oshawa Canada plants; including raw material planning and releases to support both plant manufacturing and the distribution centers; master scheduling and finite scheduling of production and kitting activities; and inventory control, transportation, and distribution functions for raw materials and work in progress (WIP) supporting the manufacturing plant. This position manages salaried and hourly employees.
Principle Functional Responsibilities
Supervise the Production Planning and Scheduling Team in Rocky Mount, NC and Oshawa Canada with responsibilities including Master Scheduling, Production Planning / Coordination, Shop Floor Scheduling and Materials Planning.
- Directly responsible for the management and procurement of raw materials using MRP within SAP ERP system with support from Corporate Purchasing, including both raw material for plant consumption and for the Distribution Centers to ship to customers.
- Responsible for Sales and Operations Planning and using outputs to drive production planning, inventory management, both quality and quantity, and customer service.
- Responsible for all or most of the following: sales and operations planning (S&OP), intercompany management, inventory control, transportation, and works closely with procurement, customer service, manufacturing, production planning, warehousing & distribution etc.
- Ensuring accurate inventory control and planning. Coordinate and supervise physical inventory take, including cycle counting, and month end inventory process.
- Overseeing the shipping and receiving functions of the manufacturing sites, including scheduling, dispatching, and on-time delivery.
- Ensuring all operating goals are met, including cost, safety, schedule conformance, shipping accuracy, inventory accuracy, supply levels, customer service, employee productivity, etc.
- Team-oriented with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization clearly and concisely from hourly associates to senior management.
- Managing a team of hourly and salary employees, including workforce planning and scheduling, employee relations, and employee development.
- Promoting and ensuring a safe and environmentally compliant work environment.
- Participating, as needed, in continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as Six Sigma, and other process improvement techniques.
- Oversees all customer shipping issues, including claims for loss or damage.
- Bachelors Degree
- Five or more years of supply chain, warehousing, materials supply, and/or distribution required and preferred experience in progressive production / materials planning in a managerial role (Materials, Shop floor, etc.).
- Strong Leadership skills.
- Experience with ERP systems preferably SAP System.
- Materials planning and scheduling experience, harness building / kitting a plus.
- APICS and Six Sigma Certifications are a plus
- Willingness to work varying hours (evenings and weekends) depending on production requirements.

- Oversees and ensures proper production control planning and scheduling programs to meet sales forecasts and to balance the level of manpower and machine requirements. Makes certain that deviations to the production schedule are investigated and properly followed up.
- Directs the activities of the warehouse personnel involved in all operations. This includes overseeing workflows and levels of activity to ensure materials are delivered to production and product is shipped (parcel, LTL, and TL) in a timely, cost effective manner consistent with cGMP.
- Direct and monitor department staff to provide inbound and outbound functions of materials, components and/or finished product for the Wilson production plant, contract manufacturers, and the shipment of product to distribution centers.
- Oversees the inventory control activities for all finished products. This includes oversight of the cycle count program, accuracy levels, internal and external replenishment, and discrepancy reconciliation and reporting.
- Reviews operating methodology and coordinates necessary improvements by automation/computerization for improving data collection and reports and ensures such reports indicate the status of all materials activities.
- Ensures that the Company standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all Materials Department functions.
- Collaborates with the Environmental Management System Representative for ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are met under ISO 14001 standards.
- Collaborates with the Energy Management System Representative for ensuring that Energy Management Requirements are met under ISO 50001 standards.
- Collaborates with the Occupational Health and Safety Management Representative for ensuring compliance to Occupational Health and Safety is met under ISO 45001.
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree with a Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in all areas of materials, warehouse/distribution, and at least 7 years in a managerial role. Prefer a background in the pharmaceutical industry, or work in a regulated environment.
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) as well as warehouse management, labor management, transportation management systems, and production planning.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and distribution techniques and theory.

**Team Overview and Job Responsibilities**
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for ensuring material availability throughout the supply chain to meet our customer needs. This Supply Chain functions for the Rocky Mount, NC and Oshawa Canada plants; including raw material planning and releases to support both plant manufacturing and the distribution centers; master scheduling and finite scheduling of production and kitting activities; and inventory control, transportation, and distribution functions for raw materials and work in progress (WIP) supporting the manufacturing plant. This position manages salaried and hourly employees.
**Principle Functional Responsibilities**
Supervise the Production Planning and Scheduling Team in Rocky Mount, NC and Oshawa Canada with responsibilities including Master Scheduling, Production Planning / Coordination, Shop Floor Scheduling and Materials Planning.
+ Directly responsible for the management and procurement of raw materials using MRP within SAP ERP system with support from Corporate Purchasing, including both raw material for plant consumption and for the Distribution Centers to ship to customers.
+ Responsible for Sales and Operations Planning and using outputs to drive production planning, inventory management, both quality and quantity, and customer service.
+ Responsible for all or most of the following: sales and operations planning (S&OP), intercompany management, inventory control, transportation, and works closely with procurement, customer service, manufacturing, production planning, warehousing & distribution etc.
+ Ensuring accurate inventory control and planning. Coordinate and supervise physical inventory take, including cycle counting, and month end inventory process.
+ Overseeing the shipping and receiving functions of the manufacturing sites, including scheduling, dispatching, and on-time delivery.
+ Ensuring all operating goals are met, including cost, safety, schedule conformance, shipping accuracy, inventory accuracy, supply levels, customer service, employee productivity, etc.
+ Team-oriented with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization clearly and concisely from hourly associates to senior management.
+ Managing a team of hourly and salary employees, including workforce planning and scheduling, employee relations, and employee development.
+ Promoting and ensuring a safe and environmentally compliant work environment.
+ Participating, as needed, in continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as Six Sigma, and other process improvement techniques.
+ Oversees all customer shipping issues, including claims for loss or damage.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ Five or more years of supply chain, warehousing, materials supply, and/or distribution required and preferred experience in progressive production / materials planning in a managerial role (Materials, Shop floor, etc.).
+ Strong Leadership skills
+ Experience with ERP systems preferably SAP System.
+ Materials planning and scheduling experience, harness building / kitting a plus.
+ APICS and Six Sigma Certifications are a plus
+ Willingness to work varying hours (evenings and weekends) depending on production requirements.

The primary purpose of this role is to drive Site Strategic Governance facilitation and the Site Master Plan, including the Goal Setting Process.
The Site Strategy & Operational Excellence (S&OE) lead will have responsibility of the Center of Excellence for Continuous Improvement (CI) at the site (e.g. E2E Flow, lean operations, etc.). Other duties will include the Site OpX Capability build for Lean, Six Sigma and Innovation. Training focused on community learning, adaptive learning, technology advancement, on-the-floor learning tools and site Supply management will roll into this position.
This will also have oversight of the development of short and long-term goals, PMO program management, the site i4 program, and OpX Site Maturity (OpX inclusive of IMex). Additionally, this role will also be responsible for Supply and Change Management at the site, including the process and site overview of the process.

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $182,000.00 to $303,300.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
