The Finance Manager will assist the Finance Director to oversee, monitor, and analyze capital and operating budgets, including monthly financial analyses, monthly forecasting, annual planning, cash forecasting, and ad hoc business analyses.
Essential functions include:
- Work directly with the Director of Finance to prepare operations analysis and reports.
- Partner with department leaders to create budgets aligned with objectives and available resources. Provide reforecasts of the year as needed.
- Enhance and develop new financial models and reports to improve existing financial plans or decision analyses.
- Work cross-functionally with Senior Accounting Manager to manage the preparation of GL accounts throughout periodic close process.
- Analyze monthly P&L figures to prepare comments and expose performance trends.
- Have a thorough understanding of, and the ability to review, contracts.
- Build solid working relationships with business and department leaders.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office software required.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail essential.
- Must be highly analytical, have the ability to think creatively, and to understand complex business dynamics.

The RoleThe Manager of Premium Services will report to the Director of Operations and is responsible for effectively and profitably managing and directing all day-to-day aspects of the premium services operations including Clubs, Suites, In-Seat Service, Catering, and all other pertinent areas of premium services.

Abou this opportunity:
The VP, Chief Accounting Officer, will be the top executive at Sutter Health responsible for the system-wide and subsidiary financial reporting cycle, month-end closing, regulatory financial compliance, tax matters, and other financial functions. The Chief Accounting Officer, a key member of the Sutter Health leadership team and reporting to the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, collaborates and works closely with all members of the Sutter Health Executive and Senior Leadership Teams, including the President and Chief Executive Officer and Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. The Chief Accounting Officer is one of the primary executives responsible for reporting to the Sutter Health Board of Directors through quarterly meetings of the Audit and Compliance Committee and Finance & Planning Committee. Additionally, the Chief Accounting Officer is the primary point of contact and lead executive representing management interfacing with Sutter Health’s external auditing firm. ~ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting , Finance, or a related field required . < r>
~ Certified Public Accountant active license preferred.
Experience:
~ Experience in accounting and financial reporting has typically acquired over 20 years of progressively responsible leadership positions within an integrated not-for-profit healthcare system or consultative organization required with annual revenues in excess of $10 billion .
~ Seasoned professional with experience in all aspects of healthcare accounting, financial reporting, and financial management , including board, finance committee, and senior staff leadership . Experience with Medical Group finance and multi-entity healthcare system environment preferred.
~ Proven experience delivering positive executive-level results in budgeting, financial forecasting, and organizational development.
~ Demonstrated history of identifying the problem s root causes and considering a range of options before deciding on a course of action.
~ Demonstrated experience in building teams and talent, as well as effectively managing and communicating change.
Knowledge:
