Our Talent Development Team manages learning initiatives around a continuous cycle of needs analysis, design delivery, monitoring for effectiveness and evaluation, and internal mobility across their areas of responsibility.
As Talent Development Partner you will work with the Global Director of Talent and other Talent Development team members, while developing organizational development strategies fit for purpose across geographies and across global function(s). You'll ensure you utilize clear, user-friendly and fit for purposes processes, tools and guidance, which are consistently applied across the global team and by all people managers, suggesting improvements and innovations as the function develops.
What you will do:
- Create a needs assessment and strategy
- Partner with leaders to align learning and development with organizational goals
- Identify and manage providers for solutions to organizational talent development needs
- Design, development and deliver engaging and effective learning programs and materials
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops and other training events
- Monitor the impact and interpret results from learning initiatives
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in L&D
- Communicate effectively with employees about learning opportunities
- Identify area for improvement and make recommendations for continuous improvement
- Be a brand champion

Leveraging advanced software automation, model-based systems engineering (MBSE), and AI-driven capabilities, IDT accelerates capability development, enhances operational readiness, and reduces lifecycle costs for the Department of Defense. Overview:
The Talent Development Specialist will work as part of the Talent Development team on all aspects of talent engagement with an emphasis in leadership development, talent planning, on-boarding and performance management processes, systems, and customer service. This individual will play a critical role in IDT's growth and long-term success. The Specialist will be part of a team that provides the best talent planning and performance management practices to our employees, maintaining our culture, and creating a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate will have a curiosity and interest in human resources and talent development with previous experience in customer support and creating/providing analytic insights to continuously improve programs. IDT is seeking an energetic and positive candidate with a strong sense of urgency who can work in a fast-paced environment. The Specialist will also take on day-to-day operations of the IDT Human Resources office.

Responsibilities Include:
- Provide support, analysis, and improvements to key development initiatives, such as career paths, competencies, performance coaching, and leadership development
- Review employee satisfaction surveys and other inputs and make recommendations for new employee engagement programs
- Facilitate talent development trainings for new and existing employees to ensure awareness of development offerings and services
- Reach out and track employee feedback about their training
- Build relationships and collaborate routinely with HR Team and other IDT departments and teams.
- Provide metrics to the head of talent development and offer recommendations on new metrics/insights to track
- Write content for the IDT monthly News Roundup that highlights talent development opportunities to our employees
- Create communications products to promote new and existing talent development initiatives
- Lead and execute additional marketing efforts and contribute new ideas
- Schedule learning events, manage registrations and completions, evaluation surveys, and attend/manage sessions as needed
- Support and facilitate New Hire On-Boarding and New People Leader Training offerings
- Support and drive performance coaching processes, including system management and communications
- Leverage appropriate leadership assessment inventories to shape development opportunities
- Additional duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree is required. BA in Human Resources is preferred
- 1 - 2 years professional experience
- One year of relevant human resources experience is preferred
