The Accounting Team at Milliman Global Corporate Services (GCS) is looking to hire a Tax Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of the tax compliance process including preparing schedules and returns for all U.S. federal and state income tax returns. The person in this role will also assist with foreign tax return review and liaison with foreign tax advisors and tax preparers. This person will take a major role in the preparation of US compliance with international information reports (5471, 8865, 8858 and Country-by-Country OR CbC reporting). This person will also be a liaison with local India tax consultants or auditors. This person will assist with special projects on an as needed basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Tax Research:
- Research US tax laws and regulations
- Research foreign tax and VAT laws and regulations
- Prepare various federal and state franchise and income tax returns
- Prepare yearly foreign reporting forms for US requirements (5471, 8858, 8865, CbC reports)
- Prepare foreign bank reporting forms for US compliance
- Assist in review of foreign income tax returns with foreign tax advisors
- Assist with year-end 1099 and 1042 processing
- Provide technical support of jurisdictional examinations (income tax, VAT, etc.)

- Provide support to offices with their tax related requests

COMPENSATION:
The overall salary range for this role is $49,900 - $2,770.

- New York City, Newark, San Jose, or San Francisco the salary range is 59,880 - 92,760.
- All other locations the salary range is 49,900 - 77,300.
