What You’ll Be Doing :
- Review nonresident alien account documentation, including W8 forms, and update account information based on IRS reporting requirements
- Prepare customer year-end IRS Forms including 1099, 1099R, 5498, and 1042-S
- Review and reconcile cost basis reporting through GainsKeeper for all reportable accounts
- Ensure proper tax withholding is applied to domestic and foreign clients
- Review and reconcile retirement plan transactions to insure accurate tax reporting
- Monitor incoming tax questions and determine the correct course of action
The Skills You Bring :
- Ability to read a 1099 and understand the logistics within
- Understand corporate actions and financial processing
- Knowledge of Phase3, Wall Street Concepts, GainsKeeper, and/or DTCC
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
- 3+ years’ experience with tax and cost basis reporting in the brokerage industry

This position follows our hybrid-friendly schedule, so you get the best of both worlds - flexibility and collaboration. In office days will be 3 per week averaging 12 days per month in one of the following locations: St. Petersburg, FL or Memphis, TN.
Support the Tax Reporting department by executing a variety of banking and financial transactions in alignment with established operational and regulatory procedures. This role involves processing both standard and complex tax-related activities, including the review and reconciliation of client tax data, generation of tax forms, and resolution of discrepancies. Responsibilities often require research, investigation, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Responsibilities :
- Provide operational support by performing a range of routine activities using existing systems and protocols.
- Produce, update, and provide best practice support on a wide range of Microsoft documents, databases, and other departmental systems.
- Prepare moderately complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices, such as standard office software. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for reports.

Job Description
This position follows our hybrid-friendly schedule, so you get the best of both worlds - flexibility and collaboration. In office days will be 3 per week averaging 12 days per month in one of the following locations: St. Petersburg, FL or Memphis, TN.
Support the Tax Reporting department by executing a variety of banking and financial transactions in alignment with established operational and regulatory procedures. This role involves processing both standard and complex tax-related activities, including the review and reconciliation of client tax data, generation of tax forms, and resolution of discrepancies. Responsibilities often require research, investigation, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Ideal candidates will bring strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities** :
+ Provide operational support by performing a range of routine activities using existing systems and protocols.
+ Produce, update, and provide best practice support on a wide range of Microsoft documents, databases, and other departmental systems.
+ Prepare moderately complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices, such as standard office software. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for reports.
+ Create a local document management system for an office or department.
+ Build effective working relationships within the internal client organization and contribute to the management of the partnering relationship, delivering high-quality professional services within established routines or as part of an agreed project.
+ Find the most effective ways to respond to routine functional inquiries. Involves following procedures and precedents.
+ Use data management systems to access specific information as and when required.
+ Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards. Obtain authorization from a supervisor or manager for any exceptions from mandatory procedure.
+ Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
