DUTIES: We seek a Software Development Lead based out of our office at 3800 Automation Avenue, Auburn Hills, MI 48326. Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work from the aforementioned address and from home. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the aforementioned address. Note, this position does not require travel.

Software Development Lead is responsible for Software (SW) projects for our drivetrain electronic control systems (such as AWD products). The responsible activities span the software development lifecycle from specification, design, development, test, release, maintenance, and continuous improvement. The software development will follow the BorgWarner software development process which complies to Automotive SPICE. The SW Development Lead will utilize planning techniques from Agile Scrum and Waterfall methods. The SW Development Lead will work along with other BorgWarner engineers to ensure that program goals are met, schedules are maintained, and problems encountered during the development process are resolved. Lead the software project development. Responsible for technical software project management on Drivetrain System products. Plan and manage the software development work for the assigned projects. Define the software release development schedules and detailed release scope. Identify and analyze sources of software requirements, specify software requirements. Manage the project software sub-suppliers.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Electrical & Mechanical Engineering and 84 months of experience in the job offered or related.

The Core Embedded Base Software Engineer will be part of a team responsible for developing basic software components for EE/core and powertrain control modules. The candidate will engage in software requirements analysis, design, coding, test plan creation, and testing for EE/core and powertrain base software. Responsibilities include performing reviews and inspections of requirements, design documents, C/C++/assembly code, and test plans. The Role

The GM Energy Data Engineering team is on the lookout for a talented Senior Software Engineer with a strong track record in building large-scale data streaming platforms. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining systems that support high-throughput data streams, data curation, storage and file system architectures, data security and governance, as well as real-time inferencing and AI-driven algorithms.
