Reporting to the Performing Arts Center Manager, the Specialist:
+ Coordinates the scheduling and recruitment of stagehands, technical crew, and front-of-house personnel to ensure adequate event staffing and coverage
+ Partners with Public Safety and Facilities to confirm operational support and staffing needs for campus events and performances
+ Assists the Manager in preparing detailed event invoices, drafting contracts, and organizing event timelines and logistics
+ Executes event space setups, ensuring alignment with production specifications and client expectations
+ Oversees and maintains the ticket sales software system, troubleshooting issues and ensuring accurate reporting and user functionality

Job Description
The Manager of Arts Training is responsible for ensuring the organizational effectiveness of Saturday and Summer Arts Education programming at NJPAC. This role provides primary administrative and operational leadership for Arts Training Programs and directly manages Program Assistants.
Working under the supervision of the Senior Director of Arts Education Operations and in close collaboration with the Director of Program Operations and Advancement, the Manager plays a central role in coordinating logistics, maintaining high-quality program operations, and serving as a key liaison between the Operations, Performances, and Creative Practice teams.
This position is the main on-site contact during Arts Training sessions and represents the NJPAC Arts Education Department (AED) in all communications with students, families, schools, and faculty. The Manager is expected to uphold and model a standard of excellence in customer service, communication, and operational execution, both on and off-site.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Subject to the policies and management direction established by the Vice President of Arts Education, the duties of the Manager, Arts Training Programs:
Program Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Arts Education Program, ensuring efficiency, responsiveness, and alignment with program goals.
- Manage the Arts Education email account, ensuring timely and appropriate delegation of incoming inquiries to relevant team members.
- Provide oversight for the creation, distribution, and tracking of Letters of Assignment (LOAs) for EAs and PAs each semester, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Supervise the payroll process, including communication with TAs and EAs regarding timekeeping, and ensure timely approvals and submission to Business Operations.
- Approve and track all program-related expenses (supplies, equipment, food, event materials), ensuring accurate documentation and alignment with budgetary guidelines.
- Lead scheduling efforts in collaboration with the Operations, Creative Practice, and Performances teams to develop and implement program schedules and room assignments for Saturday and Summer sessions.
- Monitor implementation weekly to ensure space readiness for programming, masterclasses, and special events.
- Ensure data integrity by overseeing the entry and maintenance of program statistics in Salesforce.
- Supervise the timely preparation and distribution of materials requested by TAs, including printing and organization of music, scripts, and other instructional content.
- Oversee supply logistics, including receipt and availability of materials during programming.
- Monitor attendance patterns, manage communications with families regarding absences or tardiness, and enforce the program's withdrawal and attendance policies.
- Manage the field trip coordination process, including distribution and tracking of permission slips, chaperone assignments, and logistics planning.
- Implement the student emergency escalation protocol and ensure staff are trained and aware of procedures.
- Coordinate and oversee compliance with safety procedures, including fire drills and lockdown protocols.
- Lead communication strategies for artists, families, and staff for both Saturday and Summer Arts Training programs.
- Manage all outgoing communications (email, phone, text) through OneCall or other platforms, ensuring consistent and timely messaging.
- Coordinate with Operations, Creative Practice, and Performances teams to ensure the delivery of scheduled communications such as welcome letters, weekly updates, ticket offers, and logistical notifications.
- Ensure all public-facing materials, including newsletters and flyers, are reviewed and approved by Marketing and delivered to the Manager of Sales and Outreach in a timely fashion.
- Maintain and moderate the Saturday staff communication channel (e.g., staff chat), enabling real-time updates and coordination.
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for artists, families, and staff during Saturday programs, Summer intensives, and special events held on or off NJPAC campuses.
- Ensure appropriate signage, flyers, and communications are distributed on-site to support smooth operations.
- Oversee Google Classroom infrastructure, ensuring all programs have dedicated spaces, and that TAs, EAs, and students are properly onboarded and engaged.
- Develop and manage on-site support staff schedules, ensuring sufficient coverage and clarity of responsibilities.
- Provide leadership and coordination support for special events in collaboration with key departments, ensuring all logistics, staffing, and communications are aligned and executed effectively.
- At least three (3) years of administrative experience; previous work experience in the arts and/or education fields strongly preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years teaching experience, ideally in a performing arts discipline
- At least one (1) year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role, with a demonstrated ability to manage people and processes

Job Description
**POSITION DETAILS**
The Lehman College campus is located in Bronx, New York and is a Senior College within the City University of New York (CUNY) system. Lehman is the only four-year public college in the Bronx and is recognized as a Hispanic Serving Institution. The college serves mainly undergraduate students preparing them for employment, the professions and further study.
The School of Arts and Humanities seeks an Associate Dean to provide administrative support and leadership for the School's undergraduate and graduate programs, oversee the day-to-day functions in the Office of the Dean and to manage specific initiatives. The school is home to nine departments that offer undergraduate courses and more than 20 Bachelor's degree programs and graduate programs in Art, Art Studio, English, History, Spanish Literature, Applied Music and Music Teaching. The Associate Dean reports to the Dean of the School and may serve on College-wide committees as a representative of the Office of the Dean.
Core responsibilities include:
- Support and collaborate with the Dean in day-to-day office and school functions.
- Review budget and scheduling processes with the Dean.
- Assist the Dean in the School's strategic planning process and efforts to increase external funding.
- Work with the Dean and Chairs to develop, implement, and monitor the impact of departmental strategic plans and operational goals.
- Address student, faculty and departmental issues and concerns.
- Chair and serve on search committees and focus groups.
- Manage specific initiatives and coordinate with offices and programs including Enrollment Management (Academic Standards and Evaluations, Admissions, and Registrar), Student Affairs (Campus Life, Financial Aid, and Athletics), Administration (Finance and Budget, Buildings and Grounds, and Human Resources) and Institutional Advancement (Alumni Relations and College Foundation).
- Support the Dean in mentoring tenure-track and promotion-eligible faculty.
- Assist the Dean in school personnel matters, interview new faculty candidates and review candidates' files for tenure and promotion.
- Assist the Dean in overseeing and mentoring support staff in the School
- Schedule professional development opportunities for faculty.
- Provide administrative support and leadership for the School's undergraduate and graduate programs.
- Review curriculum proposals and serve as an adviser to Departments in curricular matters.
- Facilitate the development of new interdisciplinary programs and projects; support interdisciplinary approaches to scholarship, student learning and experiential opportunities, research, scholarship and teaching, and provide support for interdisciplinary initiatives.
- Partner with High Schools, Community Colleges, and other organizations to facilitate student recruitment and develop programs of joint interest.
- Work in conjunction with the Office of Assessment to facilitate the assessment of learning outcomes.
- Assist departments and faculty with organizing artistic and humanities-based programming, i.e. speakers series, author visits, and conferences.
- Manage and develop the School's web presence and online marketing strategy in collaboration with the Division of Information Technology; promote and enhance the use of technology across the School.
- Provide support to campus publications and media outlets (i.e. campus newspaper, radio station, literary magazine, and academic journals).
**QUALIFICATIONS**
This position is in CUNY's Executive Compensation Plan. All executive positions require a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and eight years' related experience. PREFERRED SKILLS

Appointment to this position will be accompanied with an appointment at the rank of associate or full professor. Tenure may be granted upon appointment to the faculty title, depending on qualifications and experience. Ph.D. or M.F.A. in a discipline within the School. Must hold rank of Associate Professor or higher. Previous administrative experience and experience in programmatic assessment preferred.

**COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS**
Salary commensurate with education and experience, $150,000.

Location
CueBox is headquartered in New York City, and we are a hybrid workplace. Our team is in the office 3 days a week Tuesday-Thursday.
What You'll Do
As the chief of staff, you will work directly with our CEO/co-founder to lead client operations and growth initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in every facet of the company's business operations. This role is ideal for a self starter and quick learner who is passionate about the arts, working hard at a mission-oriented startup, and is excited to tackle/lead growth and operational initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead client operations in onboarding and support
- Refine our client management and onboarding process to improve operational efficiency, enhance client communication, and improve alignment across multiple stakeholders (client, data, business)
- Develop relationships with our clients to understand their needs and communicate their feedback with various functions (product, engineering, design)
- Partner with the CEO on key growth initiatives (e.g., partnerships, new channels) to drive growth
- Self-starter, resourceful and quick learner who can own and solve complex or ambiguous business problems
- Excellent client management skills and can lead client-related initiatives and meetings
- Strong quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills
- Superior verbal and written communication skills and can communicate efficiently with different stakeholders within the company and with external partners / clients
- Ability to drive execution and deliver results in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Passionate about the arts / cultural industry and excited to work at a mission-oriented startup
- Open, collaborative and empathetic
- 2-3+ years of management consulting experience at a top US-based management consulting company
- Client-facing / client-management experience
- Strong interest in technology and/or arts/culture
- Proficient at using basic MS tools such as Excel, Powerpoint
- Work authorization in the US (we do not offer visa sponsorship at this time)
- Work 3 days a week in office in our NYC office
- (bonus) sales/growth strategy experience
- (bonus) Technical skills including SQL
- Base salary $90-120k
