Were seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead a team of procurement professionals and the warehouse/logistics functions at a manufacturing company in the north metro. This position will manage procurement, inventory, shipping/receiving, oversee contract negotiations, and ensure existing contractual obligations are being met.
This is an on-site position (generally)
Responsibilities- Lead procurement strategy development and supplier relationship management to drive cost reduction, efficiency, and quality improvements across the supply chain.
- Oversee supplier development initiatives and maintain certified supplier programs to ensure superior quality, delivery, and readiness for medical market expansion.
- Implement and optimize inventory control systems including kanban, consignment, and supplier-managed inventory to reduce inventory levels while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Manage raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory levels to support competitive lead times and minimize investment and risk.
- Supervise purchasing, shipping/receiving, and inventory control teams, ensuring alignment with company policies, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and improve SOPs, purchasing policies, and quality control documentation, while ensuring compliance with ISO and medical device standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, customer service, engineering, and finance to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives.
- Bachelor's Degree in supply chain or a business-related field preferred
- 10+ years of supply chain experience including a minimum of 3 years of management
- Proven abilities in supply chain related functions - procurement, sourcing new vendors, supplier quality, contract negotiation, and inventory management
- Proven ability to set and achieve KPIs, develop long and short term supply chain strategy, and hold team members accountable

ENvue Medical is a medical device company advancing patient safety in enteral access. Our FDA-cleared electromagnetic navigation system is used in leading hospitals to improve the accuracy and reliability of feeding tube placement. We are expanding our U.S. operations and building a robust supply chain hub in the Minneapolis area, close to our logistics, distribution, and manufacturing partners.
Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on, detail-driven Supply Chain Manager to lead and execute all U.S.-based supply chain activities. This includes purchasing, inventory management, supplier coordination, contract manufacturing support, logistics, and demand planning.
This is a full-time, on-site role in Minneapolis, responsible for ensuring supply continuity, operational efficiency, and compliance across ENvues U.S. value chain. The role will work closely with the operations team, finance, sales, and our Israel-based R&D and NPI functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all supply chain operations for the U.S. division, including procurement, shipping, inventory control, and supplier relations.
- Oversee finished goods and component inventory levels, ensuring availability while controlling carrying costs.
- Place and track purchase orders with contract manufacturers, extrusion partners, packaging vendors, and logistics providers.
- Maintain accurate data in the ERP system (Priority or equivalent), including lead times, part numbers, and order status.
- Collaborate with QA/RA to ensure suppliers meet regulatory, quality, and traceability standards (FDA, ISO 13485).
- Lead planning and coordination of shipments from suppliers (domestic and international) to our warehouse and distribution partners.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, working with freight partners and customs brokers where necessary.
- Support sales forecasting, production planning, and cross-functional alignment with U.S. commercial leadership.
- Implement and monitor KPIs for inventory turns, fill rate, supplier performance, and cost optimization.
- Ensure compliance with UDI, labeling, and medical device shipping requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- 510 years of experience managing supply chains in the medical device or regulated industry.
- Proven experience managing contract manufacturers and medical-grade component suppliers.
- Strong command of inventory management, demand planning, and logistics processes.

Summary
The Supply Chain Management team is the resource for all Mortenson operating group material needs. We strategically source all consumables materials for project teams, which are managed by a team of buyers. This encompasses material not installed on the job sites, such as PPE, tape, tools, etc. In our Energy & Infrastructure operating groups that self-perform all work, we have supply chain teams comprised of sourcing managers leading a team of buyers to source all material that is installed on the projects.
In addition, our affiliated material distribution entity, BLU54, identifies product lines with opportunity for improvement from a budget and schedule standpoint. We collaborate with the design team to optimize the materials for each project and supply to either Mortenson or the selected subcontractor on Mortenson projects.
Highlights of your time with this Mortenson internship will include:
- Learning about materials typically purchased by team of buyers and purchasing agents
- Creating and maintaining catalogs for each operating group
- Standardizing material descriptions and categories and implementing changes
- Assisting in purchase transactions
- Tracking order status from time of placing order until delivery and communicating status to project teams

**Position Summary:**
Supports and manages all subcontracted and purchased material for the Armament Systems Business Unit. Coordinate activities of various Supply Chain disciplines by creating and participating in program level Supply Chain strategies and plans. Ensure the placement and receipt of all material requirements to meet those strategies and plans in support of program requirements including complete material management / ownership (schedule, cost and Material EAC). This individual is the liaison between the program office and the Supply Chain organization and is responsible for the development, coordination and execution of all program specific material strategies, supply chain objectives, and enterprise objectives. Will represent Supply Chain to the Customer, Program Management and Weapons Systems management. This individual may be responsible for multiple programs, which will have numerous variations in responsibilities from simple to complex. This individual will manage all program proposal Supply Chain activities in support of strategic pursuits to enable success of each program. International experience is desired.
The Sr. Principal Supply Chain Specialist functions include, but are not limited to, functioning as the "owner" of the materials i.e. Deputy Program Manager for all material related items. This includes: developing material strategies on complex programs; facilitate Make/Buy decisions; prepare and execute Material Program Plans (MPPs) which includes both cost and schedule; identifying and mitigating complex program risks as they pertain to material requirements; achieve program material budget objectives by developing a set of strategies that will achieve those directives; gather estimate at complete (EAC) data and managing program purchase requirements to meet production build schedules; work closely with Subcontracts and Purchasing with resolving Supply Chain issues for the program and work closely with the program office in resolving program material cost problems. This individual will also be required to contribute to enterprise initiatives, with the program and within Supply Chain. Manage a material cost account under a program with EVMS requirements and cost accounting responsibility (material and labor) for an assigned program. May serve on an approval board such as CCB, MRB, etc.

- Achieve EAC (estimate at complete) and ETC (estimate to complete) goals within programs of responsibility.
- Achieve budget price variance (B.P.V.) goals for programs of responsibility
- Achieve material sales goals (Inventory Receipts)
- Support on-time delivery performance of suppliers within programs of responsibility (Supplier OTD >98%).
- Ensure high quality products from suppliers within programs of responsibility (Supplier Quality >98%).
- Develop and execute strategic commodity plans and procurement process improvements to ensure future / long term program success.
- Lead a group of purchasing professionals in the development of sourcing strategies, bid package preparation, supplier evaluation and selection.

Salary Range: $70,600.00 - $05,800.00Salary Range 2: 87,000.00 - 130,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
