Amazon's ROC, Team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Transportation Specialist to assist in the resolution of stakeholder issues of daily freight movements flowing into and out of our North American fulfillment centers and our associated fulfillment network. Key job responsibilities
- Deliver great customer service to carrier and driver experience/solutions, in a contact center environment, through researching, problem-solving, setting appropriate expectations and working within the Amazon Transportation network
- Work in fast-paced environment, and adhere to schedules: start/stop, and breaks/lunches
- Support workload surges and/or weather-related operations as needed to include working significant overtime during designated high-volume peaks
- Use internal systems to gather data from multiple sources to support reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis (AAP, Reach, Decisiv, FMC & YMS)
- Work with cross-functional teams. Use analytical skills to drive data-driven decision, and effectively communicate insights to others across Transportation Operations Management (TOM), Amazon Freight Partners (AFP), and Fleet.
- Provide support to field teams in driver assignment, load acceptance and driver/equipment availability
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel) experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Are 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of call center experience

Responsibilities
**Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:**
Load coverage support for all accounts managed, to include executing TMS route guides, manual coverage, use of spot auctions, phone calls

Weekend support over time as volunteered available
Coordinate and manage daily freight movements, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of goods across multiple modes (truckload, LTL, intermodal).
Monitor and optimize load planning and routing using transportation management systems (TMS) to maximize efficiency and reduce empty miles.
Communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal stakeholders to resolve delays, disruptions, or exceptions in real-time.
Analyze transportation data and KPIs to identify trends, improve service levels, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain and update the after-hours carrier contact phone & e-mail list.
Daily shift changeover KPI measuring
Dock scheduling support

Qualifications
**Qualifications**
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
Bachelor's degree in business administration or Logistics and Supply Chain is preferred but not required
1 - 2 years' experience in logistics or transportation operations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) is required
Experience in SAP, TMP, or other ERP software preferred
Self-motivated and capable of working independently without direct supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal abilities
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, planning, and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and effectively communicate with both internal and external team members
**Flexible Full-Time Program:** This position can experience periods throughout the year where business is slower and there are less hours of work available due to seasonality. Generally, the company does not anticipate temporary layoffs to last more than a total of 90 days however each temporary layoff is based on volume and business needs and could vary based on the situation. . During temporary layoff, the company will maintain your elected benefits (medical, dental, and vision) at the active employee rate for up to 90 days of which you are responsible for your benefits premium costs. A reinstatement bonus will be processed upon your return from temporary layoff if you return to your position when recalled. As a Transportation Agent with Expeditors you will take ownership of a customer portfolio, being responsible for bookings, accurate deliveries and scheduling of transportation between customer, service provider and receiver. You will provide timely and accurate documentation, processes through Expeditors systems within the operational process standards. You will communicate delays and work with autonomy to solve challenges to achieve delivery needs of your clients. + Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
+ Track and Trace truck transportation shipments and reporting
+ Coordinate truck deliveries across Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota
+ Ensure accurate and timely client billing
+ Understand all the elements of the our operating procedures and correctly interpret this information to fulfill our customer´s instructions and expectations.
+ Contribute and maintain good relationships with suppliers
+ Meet both company and US compliance standards at all times
+ Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policy
+ Communicate with internal/external customers to coordinate the delivery of cargo shipments into the Minneapolis market.
*Position Hours are 7:00am to 4:00pm - Monday-Friday
+ Previous experience within the logistics field or equivalent training of 2 years
+ Associates or Bachelors Degree
+ Solid oral and written communication skills
+ Strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
+ Proficient computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Key Responsibilities
+ Customer Service: You will be responsible for communicating effectively with customers and to ensure a compliant and complete shipment process in a timely manner, documenting customer needs for future use, and maintaining an excellent working relationship with your customers.
+ Operational Excellence: You will take ownership of understanding and complying with Expeditors internal process standards, to complete timely, accurate and compliant documentation, customer billings and system updates accordingly.
+ Service Provider Relationships: As a Transportation Agent you will build strong partnerships with multiple Service Providers ensuring your clients is serviced to a high level, you will ensure accurate and timely invoicing for your service providers.
Expected base salary: $22/hr to $24/hr
May be eligible for bonus following first year of continuous employment in position.

Services include adult and child psychiatric, substance abuse, case management, residential, Crisis Care, and therapy programs, as well as career development and wellness services. Zepf Center also offers primary care medical services to our patients to contribute to their continuum of care. Zepf Center is a trauma-informed agency and environment for both patients and staff.


We are currently seeking contingent After School Youth Transportation Specialist to assist at-risk youth with behavioral symptoms, increasing social skills, and increasing independent living skills. The purpose of the After School Youth Program Worker is to assist youth and families in reduction of psychiatric, social, emotional, environmental, and educational problems to increase levels of functioning and work toward a less restrictive treatment environment.


Hours: Monday - Thursday; 1:00pm - 8:00pm


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for transporting clients to/from the program
  • Assist with the facilitation of treatment group
  • Complete documentation on client behavior in the client’s electronic chart
  • Provide community-based support and other daily living skills and activities
  • Work as an integral part of the treatment team to develop, revise, implement and monitor Individual Service Plans in cooperation with additional team and family members of client
  • Assist and co-facilitate treatment-focused groups
  • Communicate with team members/supervisors as needed for case consultations
  • Complete incident reporting as needed, following any appropriate agency procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Working hours vary depending on time of year, Monday - Thursday, staff may be required to work on Fridays based on the needs of the program.
Specific/Individual Competencies:
  • In process of pursuing a degree in social services or a related field
  • Must possess a high level of patience and understanding in working with this population

  • At minimum, one year of experience working with the youth population; experience with at-risk youth preferred
  • Preference given to those who are working towards a post-secondary degree in social services or a related field.

Your Daily Responsibilities

As a Transportation Specialist-CDL, you are the public face of Access Information Management.

  • You start your day in the records center, loading your company vehicle of materials, recycling bins and/or boxes full of confidential documents, and preparing the necessary paperwork for your day’s deliveries.
  • You spend most of your day on the road, going from client locations to client locations, delivering and/or picking up client documents and materials in using wireless scanning technology, interacting with the clients and making sure they are satisfied and well served.
  • You return to the record center at the end of your day, unloading your company vehicle of materials, recycling bins and/or boxes full of confidential documents and completing the necessary paperwork for closing your day’s deliveries.

More About You

  • A valid CDL Driver’s License with a good driving record.
  • The physical ability to lift boxes, recycling bins and materials weighing up to 60 pounds and carry boxes weighing up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the day.
  • At least 1 to 2 years of driving experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening, a background check, and DOT physical.
