The Driver/Warehouse Worker is responsible for safely operating an 18-foot truck to pick up and distribute food, while supporting day-to-day warehouse operations when not on the road.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Pick up food from City Harvest, suppliers, and other donors
- Deliver food to agencies courteously and on time
- Oversee the loading and unloading of the truck
- Maintain accurate vehicle logs and track deliveries
- Coordinate pickups and deliveries with other drivers
- Perform routine truck maintenance and daily vehicle inspections
- Support day-to-day warehouse operations when needed (including moving pallets, stacking product, organizing the warehouse, and conducting inventory)
- Additional responsibilities as assigned

- Requires the ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items (up to 30-pounds to stock shelves) on a regular basis.
- Steel-toe work boots must be worn at all times while in the warehouse. Clothing should be appropriate for a professional setting and public interactions, avoiding any profanity, political statements or offensive branding.

Warehouse Worker Primary Responsibilities:

**Job Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for receiving and inspecting products, accurately labeling items and reporting any discrepancies in reconciliation of deliveries and invoices.
+ Responsible for organizing and storing all incoming products in assigned locations, applying FIFO (first in, first out) inventory controls for perishable products.
